This place was lovely!! There were so many little hidden wonders all around the shop, and I mentioned a doll to one of the workers there that I was fond of but couldn’t afford, and she took the time to find the doll for me and rearrange the price to where I could afford it!! One of the best sales experiences I’ve ever had.

This is a great place if you are in the Fredericksburg area. They have a lot of vintage collection items to look for and browse for items to look over. Its a large house with many items inside and outside. Paints, phones, old odds and ends in foot and great shape. Stop by if you have a chance. You may just find that special something from the past or that special something you have been looking for to take home.

This is a great place to shop for antiques. We were looking for small bottles to hang on a bottle tree and the owner helped us and was so kind. Great prices and we found a few small bottles.

I personally entered into a contract with Mr. Mark Ragon d/b/a The Attic during the month of march 2017 for consignment of thre (3) Fender Vintage Guitar Amplifiers, each with a value between $2,500.00 and $3,500.00. These amps were to be sold and my part of the sale was to be no less than $1,800.00 for each amplifier.Despite numerous inquiries I personally made as to the status of the sale of the Amps made during the period of consignment, even though I asked every time Mark would make excuses of having to run his traps. No definitive report was given to me as to the location or status of the amplifiers. I continually stopped by and Mark would tell me they were in layaway in other locations.Upon my most recent inquiry, I was told that the Amps had all been sold. I was told to come back next week and the check would be ready. The check was supposed to be in the amount of our agreement for $5,400.00. When I walked in to pick up my check it was sealed in an envelope so I opened the envelope and the check was written for $1,800.00. I immediately asked what about the rest of the money and mark told me that was all he was going to pay me. I told him that was not our agreement and as usual he had another excuse for the amount. Curtis was offered a check in the total amount of $1,800.00 for the Amps. Since the amount offered was less than the amount I contracted to receive, I refused to accept the check offered. Upon personally seeing the pricing of $3,600.00 on one amp, it is my belief, The Attic and/or Ragon converted the Amps for their or his own use and purposes, depriving me of the Amps and their value.I retained an attorney from the Wagstaff law firm in Abiliene Teaxs and the sent a signed receipt requested demand letter to Mark Ragon, which he has received, but has never responded to.The Attic’s conduct violates, among other things, Sections 17.46(b) (5), (7), (9), (12), (22) and (24) and 17.50 of the Deceptive Trade Practices—Consumer Protection Act as applied to the facts of this case, Texas law makes it clear that The Attic is liable to me for the full amount of our agreement or the return of the amplifiers to my possession.

EXPERIENCED EXTREME PREJUDICE FROM THIS PROPRIETOR. It was an ugly reminder of the times I have been treated as a secondary citizen because Im a minority. Even though, Im a 5th generation Texan.I was browsing in one of the back rooms when I saw my girlfriend enter a bathroom which was marked employees only. She said the lady up front said she could use this bathroom. I thought nothing of going into the bathroom right after her. When I came out the lady was standing outside the door with her hands on her hips, an angry, mean face and told me in a very condescending tone, I was not allowed to use this bathroom. Explained my girlfriend had just asked her and was given permission. She replied...but YOU dont have permission. I said, is it because Im the wrong color? She replied look in the mirror. Wow...didnt see this one coming.Hoping this breed of people will soon become extinct.
