First time visiting this very nice, upscale resale shop. They have a lot of beautiful items & great selection. The staff were very friendly & customer service oriented!! IMO they are a bit overpriced which is why I didnt give it a 5 star.

LOVE sequels! I’ve shopped here for years and they always keep a nice variety of vintage/designer goods. I’ve found some great earrings and rings here. Staff is also very friendly and helpful. I will be back soon!👌🏾

Super cute, chic secondhand shop full of unique pieces! Though I don’t live in the area anymore and can’t get to the shop personally, their easy-to-navigate website makes it possible for me to still get my designer secondhand fix. My most recent purchase was a pair of vintage sneakers in a lovely color that I’d been looking for for ages. Ashley, the shop associate that I corresponded with, was so friendly and helpful, and even included some cute little cards in the box with my purchase! If you’re ever in the Fredericksburg area, please make time to visit this shop!

Stopped here to find a last-minute gift for my girlfriend. Im clueless about clothes but the employee was super understanding and helped me find something my girlfriend would love. I got the impression that they never turn away a customer or take anyone for face value but are willing to help anyone that walks in! Good to know there are still reasonable, respectable people in the world.

Great experience. Selling and consignment is a breeze. The staff are friendly and make very honest and reasonable offers. Worth checking out versus the hassle selling with online services.

Rude employee who doesn’t see the value in black women shopping in this thrift store. If you had any pride, you wouldn’t have been rude to this successful boss black woman. I won’t be shopping in a store such as this! There were no other customers in the small, dusty and junky thrift store! You are lying! Since when can only certain people use their phones? You don’t realize how many black customers you have lost 😞 by being disrespectful. It’s a thrift store selling old used stuff! This is my favorite clothing store in all of Fredericksburg. Let me tell you why they are so special!First off, the prices are fantastic! I shop here before every major event in my life -- vacations, weddings, holiday parties -- and always score a LOT of amazing clothes and a final bill of under $200. To give you sense, last time I was there I bought 2 pair of jeans, a pair of pants, a dress, and 4 tops for about $150. Ive gotten a lot of great items for under $20 and many for under $10. You can also score some amazing deals on high-end designer clothing, shoes, and handbags, if thats your scene.Second, the selection is fantastic. Its all second-hand. But unlike most second-hand shops, its all in fantastic condition, often barely worn or still new with tags.But what make Sequels super special? The staff!! If theyre not busy, you can tell them what youre looking for and theyll help you find things. Thats a GODSEND when, say, your daughter decides that you should wear a purple dress to her BatMitzvah for coordinated pictures and you discover too late that the purple dress you owned is now too small. Megan! I sobbed as the doorbell jangled. I need a purple dress for tomorrow. Its an emergency! Hmm, she replied, pulling one from a nearby rack. Try this on and Ill pull anything else that I can find. I finally found one that fit, but looked just a bit too casual. Thats okay, said Megan. Well just jazz it up a bit with some glamorous jewelry and a pair of good heels. And she pulled the perfect coordinated items and I was saved! As a bonus, the whole ensemble was under $100 and I got a TON of compliments on my outfit the next day.The staff is not pushy, and theyll give honest feedback on an outfit if you, like me, werent born with the fashion gene. They also give helpful suggestions about what will coordinate with certain items, e.g. just match this with a pair of low heels or this will coordinate well with a solid color tank-top.TL;DR If you like low-priced clothing that garners tons of compliments, try this hidden-gem in Fredericksburg.

While some items may be overpriced, the quality is good. The store offers an array of designer items.

I limit myself to one visit to Sequels per quarter. You can drop half a paycheck in here without batting an eyelid or a smidgen of guilt.It smells wonderful. The selection is the best of any consignment shop Ive ever seen. The clothes are freshly laundered. The shoes are so clean, they shine. The service is excellent. The workers are knowledgeable, helpful and have an excellent eye. I prefer this place to most regular stores. Id give it six stars if I could.

I love this store, it was my first visit and not the last one. I needed a dress for a wedding and the selection was really good. There is a good variety of things and a good range of prices. You can come out with a full outfit with no problem.

Excellent customer service and always a great selection. The ladies that purchase the items have a great eye and the quality of merchandise is stellar. Truly a hidden gem in Fredericksburg.

I will NEVER go here. I called at open and spoke to an employee who informed me that the person who did appraisals was not in the office and she would have to call me back to set up an appointment. While giving her information, we ended up talking about the items I wanted to bring it. It originally was supposed to be 20 items because I thought they only dealt with designer brands but she informed me that they also deal with every day wear. I told her I was going to go to platos closet with regular clothes and she told me not to and to bring it all in. Later in the day I spoke with MEGAN. And that’s where it all went down hill. From the first word it was an attitude. I tried to explain to her the items I was bringing in and was cut off from talking to be told that they were “selective” and could only take so much. That’s when I started to tell her what the other employee said and she cut me off again. I at this point am getting frustrated and tell her that but she continues to argue and just talk me around in circles. I told her repeatedly that I just wanted to bring my clothes in for appraisal and she would follow with a comment and then ask me why I was getting upset. She even said that she didn’t feel comfortable doing business with me because I was upset. Well no kidding I’m upset! At the point I asked to speak to the owner which she informed me was her mother and that she wouldn’t let me talk to her because “it would be a waste of time cause she would take her side”

Its okay. Some things overpriced and I stopped selling because she got stuck on one price. I havent shopped there in a hot minute and probably will never shop there again. I can get better deals on others sites and they are legitimate as well.

I have taken my gently used/new clothing to this store to sell and have never been disappointed. Always find something to buy and bring home while in this store. You will not be disappointed.
