A place where you can have desserts, snacks, or maybe a cup of beverage . Whether you are alone or a friend. This place is perfect.We had 2 cheesecakes today. We tried the key lime cheesecake, and the “Java cheesecake”. I am not sure about the name of the last cheesecake. But I believe it had coffee in it. Both cheesecakes had that balance level of sweet and sourness. It wasn’t overwhelming at all. The drinks that was paired was a cup of coffee, and a chocolate banana shake. It was a pair that was match made in heaven.I would definitely go back not only for their food, but also their great customer service. There were smiles all around.

I love this place the coffee and hot chocolate is the best Ive ever had! And they make you feel so welcome and at home my daughters love to see one of the ladys in the morning and she treats them so special! They make our Sundays a great way to end our week.

Great spot to get some work done while sipping on delicious coffee of sorts with a dessert of your liking. The banana gelato was perfect!

Ordered a large Mocha and a cherry turnover. Tipped 15%, before I had received anything. The Mocha was luke warm at best. My cherry turnover wasnt cherry. It had some kind of off-white pudding inside. I took the turnover up to the counter and said excuse me I ordered cherry and this is something else. The young woman said she was sorry and would bring me another. You guessed it, she did. She brought me another turnover with the white goo inside. I gave up. If you go here, ask for your coffee extra hot otherwise you will get something barely luke warm, and skip the turnover.

Coffee is great here, service is great, its just all around amazing. Always clean and fast, even when its super busy. No contact drink pickup, and very sanitary. Anita is absolutely awesome! Great job, 100% recommend.

Charming and lovely little bistro. Ive met the owner around town at various places and events and shes lovely. She made some wonderful suggestions for my lunch. The entire atmosphere is wonderful and welcoming. This gem is going into my regular rotation.

Thus is a really great spot. The staff a super friendly and attentive and they have a great selection of lattes, Italian sodas and Gelato. Their sandwiches are also really good but I especially love the pay it forward system where you put up a portion to contribute towards the next persons bill and they then return the favor to someone else.

It was a chilly day walking around. Stopped in for hot tea. The have a wonderful selection of treats that we hope to sample next time.

We came here for dessert and had some gelato. Which was pretty good. Unfortunately, they dont have a really big selection, just basic flavors, which was kind of a disappointment.The vibe was really chill, its really pretty inside and they had some really good music playing.The staff are very warm and friendly and overall this place is very clean.Didnt get to try their pasties and the like but will definitely be back to try!I highly recommend this spot if youre looking for something sweet.

Cute Italian style bakery attached to the Marriott. Also had a few hot foods. The desserts were very eye appealing so it was hard to choose until I came upon the cannolis. They had several different shells to choose from too. Was it as good a cannoli from up north? Nope but still good. They also had gelato in about 6 different flavors. Great coffee choices also.

Surprising European-Inspired Eatery. I really loved my visit to Italian Station. The restaurant is housed within the same building as the Courtyard by Marriott Fredericksburg Historic District with both an exterior entrance and entrance into the hotel. The outside is well-signed with a pleasant window view. The interior has a local, artsy feel and includes a smattering of seating. The staff were very pleasant, helpful, and energetic. The food choices really blew me away with a variety of top-end pastries, sandwiches, pizzas, etc., all made with an authentic Italian flare I rarely see in restaurants of this type. This establishment also offers a variety of wonderful drinks coffees, teas, etc. and other European snacks and drinks. The prices were very good, especially for the high-quality, unique food and drink items. Overall, I rate Italian Station as a great value for fantastic staff, authentic and tasty fare, perfect location, relaxed and artsy/local décor, and great price. Highly recommended, especially for a breakfast, lunch, or evening snack stop in the Fredericksburg Historic District.

A plain croissant and latte Machiato first thing in the morning was a great start to the day. So many pastries, coffees, and REAL pizzas to choose from....ooooh and those cannolis!

I always enjoy going here for a coffee and a little treat. Staff is always friendly, and Ive always received quick service. So far my favorites are the tiramisu iced latte and Irish cream mocha. As far as their desserts I always go for their canolis. They dont put the cream in the shells until you order it, so the outside is nice and crispy.

These guys are fantastic and the food is other worldly. From their selection of sandwiches to the arancina - just a great lunch menu. The coffee is great and the sweets - well they reminded me of my time in Florence. You are missing out if you don’t hit this place!!!

Lovely little place with big wooden chairs. They have lots dessert cakes look very pretty. Gelatos comes in 6 fav if I remember it right. Also a little section where they sell some Italian products like pasta, candy, chips such. Offer free water on the counter as well. The employees who works there don’t have much smile, all look like they wanna leave the place. Especially the male employees. Over all it’s nice to take a break when you walking around downtown under the heat.

As an Italian this place has great pastry’s outside of Brooklyn NY. Not many places like this around. A must stop if you like pastries, Gelato and other Italian sandwiches and other specialty items.

Solid pastries, unique, though on the higher end in terms of quality, palate and price.

Perfect spot for a light lunch and great coffee. Friendly service. Calm inviting atmosphere. Will return.

Well if you saw my review of the Orofino Italian Restaurant you’ll know that I’m Italian. The delicious Lunch at the Orofino was followed up by dessert at the Italian Station. We had some of the best Italian pastries outside of Brooklyn NY where I’m originally from. The display is excellent and for dessert after the pastries we had the gelato. Wow. All extremely delicious. If you’re a fan of Italian pastries you will not find a better place outside of NYC. If you do let me know. After 40 years in Northern Virginia I have not found it until now.

Worst smoothie I’ve ever had. My daughter had one too and it tasted like ice and flavored water. I got Matcha which tasted like they threw half a banana and green food coloring in a blender. Daughter had strawberry/banana and we tasted a little banana and red food coloring maybe for the strawberry. We also had an afagatto (espresso over ice cream) on a different trip and that was pretty good. Just don’t get the smoothies.

We had Italian Station cater an office party on a busy Saturday, on a holiday weekend, and they absolutely delivered a fantastic spread of food. Beautiful, delicious, fresh. My family loves going to their cafe, and now love their catering too.

Great desserts. We come here regularly for a piece of cake. The gelato was delicious, but too pricey for the serving size for me to get again. The other desserts are priced well for the quality and size. Never had anything bad.

Marvelous little coffee and pastry shop with reasonable prices (~$3 for small hot chocolate, slightly more for a cheese danish). Unfortunately none of the chairs have backs to them, so if you have back problems it may be uncomfortable.

The coconut mocha is divine. The tiramisu, while a little dry, the taste and texture overall was amazing. The 7 layer cake was incredibly delicious.I highly recommend this facility for coffee and dessert. Other menu options are enticing, Ill definitely return to explore more!

Ive only visited the Italian Station a couple of times and have never been disappointed. Id give anything for that hot chocolate with real whipped cream and a slice of one of their pastries (was it rum cake? plum cake?) It was incredible. Everyone Ive seen there, either in videos or in real life looks, so happy and now I know why! My next trip to Fredericksburg will include a visit to this great place.

This place is wonderful! I’ve been here several times and no matter what I am never disappointed. I’ve had their gelato, smoothies, and some of their sandwiches/pockets and all of them are fantastic. The atmosphere is very rustic/organic and it gives me the feel of a genuine small, local business. The people are so nice and have always given me great customer service!

My best friend and I stumbled upon this place after being slightly disappointed with the previous coffee shop we had just visited. This place is BEAUTIFUL! The pastries and cakes and beautiful. We ordered two drinks and they were also fantastic. The staff was very friendly and attentive. You pay a little more for the pastries/ desserts than a normal coffee shop, but its well worth it for the quality of food and drinks! We will definitely be coming back!

Coffee was a bit bitter, and the ham and cheese in filo dough wasnt really my cup of tea either. The wait staff was incredibly helpful and friendly though, and the samples of different breads they had were delicious. I think I just didnt order the best they had to offer.
