Costumer Service is terrible. Some members think that they have the right to yell at you. I ended up buying the clothes that I was going to buy in the store online. Claim that dressing rooms are closed early because they are cleaned, however thats not the case. Store closes at 7 pm. The ONLY dressing room available in the whole store was closed at 6pm. Staff member yelled at the costumer that was in there over and over and over.

Still has a nice atmosphere but not a good selection in store.

Most days its not bad.They do offer a great selection of items sometimes you really have to search for them though OR find an associate so you can pay and leave.

Can we get some stores in this mall that stay updated and fully stocked. Came in here and the clothing supply for kids was a ghost town.

Found a great pair of shoes on the clearance shoe rack. They were super comfortable and have held up great. They had some great sales. The associates for the most part are pleasant. Only thing I would say that could use some work is store lay out/appearance. Some sections feel as though they are overflowing with merchandise, other sections look more like perhaps they are not properly stocked. Also alot if places have reopened thier dressing rooms but they havent. And for people that have difficulty with how clothing fits this deterring as purchased that dont fit would require a return trip to return the merchandise. Which such if you live in a different county.Other than that it was a good shopping experience.

Just priced to high and the clothing style is very old fashion

A nice place, just not really up with the times. There are some clothes that are nice, then you have the clothes that look like for your great grandmother. The prices higher than I want to pay for anything, and the sales arent much. Met a couple people in the store, nicest was at the hair saloon, all the other associates seem not to want to be there and like zombies working. There but not there. Store was clean, but the atmosphere was bland, like Tofu. No excitement or spark that makes you feel good walking in, more like walking in a funeral home. Sorry thats how I saw and felt in the store.

I always look here for new jeans and sweatshirts. I got a good deal on a tuxedo last year. Good place to browse.

My family comes here to shop and we usually have good customer service. This evening (Monday June 7th) we had the worst experience with one of the ladies closing the store. I understand the store is closing soon but there is no need to repeatedly tell us 5 times that the store is closing. We weren’t even taking that long. She was entirely rude and we felt so rushed. We were literally coming to check out as she told us the 5th time like we couldn’t understand English. She is ruining this store’s reputation.

I took my daughter to get her hair done at the salon with the gorgeous Hair Designer Ms. Londyn who works magic!!! I highly recommend her. She is incredibly skilled and talented with amazing customer service.

I placed an order online for pickup and with half the order being delivered. When I got to the store 45 mins later I realized I still had my old adsress on the account. I asked the customer service representative if I could update my address or cancel the order. They told me changes can only be made within the first 30 minutes of placing an order and that I cant cancel the order. I would have to contact UPS and change my address with UPS. I contacted UPS and was told I had to wait for them to pickup the order. I checked back the next day but the tracking number was still showing unavailable long story short they delivered to my od address and I still have to pay for the items. My old address is in a different state so I have no way to get the items back. 30 mins to cancel is absurd. I will not be using this card anymore. What a waste.

MISSY is so rude. I politely asked for help and instead of saying” ma’am I’m with a customer right now I’ll be right with you” she’s going to say with an attitude “ if you know anybody that’s looking to work we are hiring” so disrespectful and she needs to be fired.

Customer service is great. The issue I have with JC Penney is how much this major retailer has lost in lister. I feel for the employees morale. The store in Fredericksburg is obviously short in staff, judging by the empty checkout stations.

JcPenny salon is awesome. My stylist Londyn is professional, makes the best recommendations, specializing in hair extensions, ponytails, color and makeup. You leave with exactly what you asked for. I definitely will be back!

The store is split into 2 seperate locations on different sides of the mall.

All I needed was winter boots. The only pair of shoes I own just split in half. The gard at the door saw us walking up and she walked away then came back and locked the doors before we could enter. No sorry or anything. We have a winter storm going on and now Im stuck with wet cold feet!

Bought 2 pair of pants and the cashier didnt put the receipt in the bag. I went to exchange them a few hours later and told I get half price back on exchange because I didnt have the receipt. I cant help it that I didnt get one.Not only that but 3 people and 20 minutes later I finally get a half priced exchange. Please train these folks

Fredericksburg pennys has two cashiers in the store and you needto walk around to find them to check out an this is a large store to be so under staffed

I have made various attempts to call the store to check on an order and not one single department of that store will answer the phone.

It has really gone down hill since I was a kid. It used to be a very nice department store.

Well stocked, a bit odd that they have the store split up in this mall, with the Mens wear in a completely different storefront.

Friendly staff and the deals are fantastic.

A little worried looks like they may be going out of business soon.

JCP Salon in Spotsylvania is one of the best salons in the area! My daughter and I had a pleasant experience working with Londyn. She was very professional and gave us great advice on hair care. I absolutely loved my daughters new look !

I shop there all the time

Ran in quickly to look at curtains. Yes they do have them. Way in the corner past appliances towards restrooms. Salesperson knew nothing about curtains, not even the price. Selection was decent. Have a small clearance area, not marked with a sign. Again tucked way back. The display is like a rummage rack. Store was deserted which was OK for me.

It was hot in the store! I couldnt stay long. They had very high prices, then if you looked you could find really good sales. So was able to find what I was looking for at a good price. They did have a fairly good selection.

London by far is one of the best stylist at the JC Penny salon in Fredericksburg. The cut and style and weaves are amazing.

JC Penney is one of the last big department stores from my childhood. They have great sales/discounts. Customer service was excellent in the mens department! Staff and team leader went above and beyond to assist us in finding mens 4X winter coat!

Need more bodies on the floor to help customers.

By casely shop the store to see that in the in my size Im a large man not overly large height wise and and also in girth and occasionly they do have something in my size that I really like fits my style not too often this I dont shout there very often but I do appreciate way to have something in and with their pricing structure is for those items.

This JCPenny is split in two so all the mens clothing is in its own store. That makes it very convenient for me and the staff is always super helpful! I love going to this location.

I am a fan of keeping the department stores open. But after walking into Pennys I realized why they arent doing so good. There was only 1 counter open out of the 4 that I passed trying to buy something. I had to wait in line for about 10 minutes to make the purchase. For a store that is struggling to stay open, you would think they might consider taking care of the few customers that walk in the doors. If you need to buy something from Pennys, do yourself a favor and buy it online.

Alot of shelves wiped out in Mens section womens was not open

Prices seem high for the quality of products. There was a sale going on but everything I was interested in was still $50 or more. I saw a hoodie on a mannequin in the Levis section but could not find it anywhere. The store was very clean though. Didnt have a hard time going into different sections. Very easy to sort through things.

Best quality and prices around.Far better quality than at Kohls.Dress shirts dont hold up after several washings.

Men & Home-Very disappointing! As a person who works in retail. This is very unacceptable. My siblings and I are trying out the mattress...thinking about buying one. No price on the mattress and no employees to help us. Minutes later, an employee came in yelling saying “Get off!! Can’t be napping!”. First of all, we weren’t napping. We are trying to figure out which one is the one we like. Second, that’s a very bad customer service! Why have a mattress out for customers to purchase? If we can’t try it out? Bad attitude! And worst customer service! We plan to purchase couple things from there, but no. Not going to spend my money on a company who hires people like that.

Everyday Saturday I love going shopping to the mall. Mostly at jcpenny because they always have the styles I love and they also have beautiful and amazing clothes.

I love the new Sephora add on to the JcPennys. The layout of the store only changed a little but Its an easy to get what you need. The employees have a tendency to hide if you need help but when you do manage to grab someone to help you, They do help for sure

I have gone PT pennys hair salon for 10 years.I was blown away when after my trim and blow dry I was charged $50.Ive never been charged that before and wondered why I was the only customer in there...My hairdresser was good but the way the receptionist treated a lady who asked about hair color was ridiculous and way over priced...Never again...Im done...

I DO NOT understand how Ms. Summer whos an actual manager at Sephora, was not trained to do a simple return/exchange, (WITH THE INVOICE THAT WAS SHIPPED IN MY ORDER 🤔) because she has no way of knowing the pricesof the items I was returning, REALLY....TRY ENTERING THE ORDER # FROM MY INVOICE ...but she could not possible do that, because I could have ordered directly from Sephora, instead of what was STATED ON MY RECEIPT.At this point it was obvious she didnt believe me, I called her on these fake excuses, told her she was lying and requested the store manager, I also told her since you cant help me, STOP TALKING to me ( she was trying to justify the lies before the manager got there), I had even showed her the email confirmation that was sent from JCPenney with the order #.....she actually told me she didnt have to stop talking to me...........🤨😲.....well ......After the storm I ended up in Sephora by myself.Finally management showed up, at first trying to justify the same lies until she entered my order #, ALL THE PRICES along with the items showed up on her screen, then comes all the apologies, oh we havent trained them( MANAGERS) to do this type of return, exchange yet ( THE KIND WITH A RECEIPT), so sorry for your experience .... Sephora BIGGEST FAIL !!!

I selected the JCP salon because their prices were reasonable for my relaxer retouch but I soon discovered its an a la carte surprise. When I got to the register to pay a stylist said it was an additional $10 to flat iron my hair. When I asked what was included in the $50 price for a retouch she said what she did was more detailed. I didnt pay it because she didnt say it would be extra. I then selected another stylist and she did a great job with my $45 retouch with just a blow dry. I dont mind paying extra for a cut. Now her price is $60 which is ridiculously too much for a retouch and blow dry. Ive tried the master stylist to the basic stylist and for my needs the basic was perfect. It appears theyre allowing the stylists to set their own prices with no added benefit to the service and you dont know what youre going to pay until you get to the register.
