I found this place because it was close to where I was visiting. Not only was it close, the woman who worked there let me buy a stick from her own stash because I was looking for a specific brand. I will be here again!

Its a wonderful little place with a great selection of cigars, pipes and pipe tobacco. The customer service is helpful, especially for newer cigar smokers. The back patio and lounge area is quiet and provides a great place to smoke a cigar or pipe. I would recommend Olde Towne Tobacconist to anyone in the area.

This place was great! I went to 3 different Tobacco stores this morning looking for pipe tobacco. All of them were more like headshots than tobacco shops. Found Olde Towne Tobacconist and so glad I did. The young man that helped me was wonderful, answered all my questions and help me find not 1 but 2 different blends that were exactly what I was looking for.If you are looking for an actual tobacco store go to Olde Towne Tobacconist they are ON POINT! ❤️

Great selection. Thats the first thing you need to know about this place. Ive been smoking cigars for over 18 years, and what you dont want is a smoke shop, if you know your cigars what you want is a cigar shop/lounge.Second the lounge part is fine, its small, comfortable and well use the word cozy for lack of better words. They also offer a pretty decent selection of pipe tobacco, pipes, and lighters.Lastly, the prices are good. Ive met the owner and hes a cool dude that knows his cigars. I recommend this place. You might not experience church greeters there, but youll find fine cigars.

I went in to by a pipe ( I do not need any more cigars). Left with a lighter. While they did not have the pipe I wanted they have a really great selection of reasonably priced Cigars and Tobacco and a cigar lounge (which I have not used). I will be back for my pipe when they get them in.

Excellent service and selection, but you cannot get a pack of cigarettes here. Google you need to smarten up for when someone asks you where the closest place to buy cigarettes is and theyre standing in downtown Fredericksburg, VA. Google sent me there to get a pack of cigarettes. Luckily I love cigars and bought one. The experience was so great, I intend on returning.

Nice place friendly customer service selection is a little small but still a decent amount of size to choose from. A little dark in there I wish it was a little bit more brighter so you could see the selections better but overall great experience

Not in the best condition, and we asked for a rollaway bed and then left and returned tired and late at night, but there was no rollaway in the room.

This place is average. If youre going here to hang out and smoke its not great but if its grab and go its fine.If youre walking distance its worth a couple minute walk but if youre driving there a couple competitors around that offer similar prices and a better atmosphere.

Dropped in to buy a flask - great selection of products, decent prices. The guy accidentally quoted the wrong price over the phone and owned up to it, selling the product for a few bucks less because he misread the label. Incredibly friendly, great people - and the flask is awesome too.

Just walking to a restaurant and came upon this place. Very friendly staff, great selection of cigars, & pipe tobacco. The prices are reasonable and theres a little lounge in the back. Bought a La Aroma de Cuba (my fave) and a Tatuaje (proprietors suggestion). I like this little shop and plan to return. Next time your stolling down Caroline street, stop in.

Ive been there three times, and never again.The first time (as a first time pipe smoker) the help was both condescending and rude. An older white guy with a chain wallet who acted as if I dare interrupt his staring out into space.The second time was with a different employee (two actually) who were both friendly and helpful, and willing to take the time to discuss tobacco, pipes, etc.The third and final time was with chain wallet dude who was downright belligerent.Rest assured I will go to Stafford or mail order before shopping there again. They probably dont need my money, but I sure as hell dont need their tobacco.

Interesting shop. A wide variety of cigars, and appeared to have a lot of pipe tobacco.

I am a frequent customer of Olde Towne Tobacconist. It is a quaint little shop set up with several large cabinet style humidors. The stock is abundant and ever changing with a lot of brands and blends I have rarely seen. The guys working there are extremely helpful and knowledgable. Though shop has, at first glance, a rough edge, it feels like home especially when all the guys of EVERY race are in the back shooting the breeze. As long as you actually pay for your cigars, and dont make bold accusations of calling the management liars and thieves, its a fantastic little hangout spot with great cigars. I highly recommend!

I found this place to be a hangout for the rednecks and racists. The quality of service to be poor, the help unhelpful, especially the young person at the cashier, and the place dirty. I will never go there again.
