Me and my wife like to drive out to Fredericksburg to visit this store from Austin. As soon as you step out the parking lot all you smell is the best aroma a person ask for. The motto says it all Candles for people who knows candles *Birds of Paradise is their favorite *

I love, love, LOVE Circle E candles. They are all I have used for the past 25 years, probably more. I drive from Dallas just to get to smell the new scents and save on shipping, because I buy... A lot.

Bottom line is that I LOVE candles, and this place satisfies my need. There is such a wide variety. The candles last a very long time, and the scent of one candle fills my entire house.

There candle scents choices are outstanding! Their quality cannot be beat! I have purchased these in boutique stores around my hometown Austin. If you have tried them and love them you must make a trip to the store in downtown Fredericksburg and also the factory down the road. You will not be disappointed!!!

There is no restroom. Do not go after coffee. Rude, i was excited to visit as ive bought these candles for YEARS. They saved me a few hundred bucks by the bathroom situation & this was a MAIN stop on our trip. As long as NATURE doesnt call, you will be ok. Very disappointing-as a long time customer-reviews are true skip the visit & go elsewhere.

Disappointed. I spent so much money on a year subscription for my sisters Christmas. They do not allow you choose the scents, so they get to send whatever. I have purchased these candles for years and love love them, but the scents they have scent seem to be the ones that arent so popular. I would of purchased another year if the scents would of been better selected. The customer should be able to choose.

Pretty cool place. Amazing scented candles and wax. If youre a fan of those things, this is a must stop place when youre visiting Fredericksburg.

A little on the pricey side but the sense in the candles and the melts that they sell are remarkable your whole house will be smelling great I do recommend a visit but control yourself because you will spend a little more than you want or maybe a lot more than you want but its worth visiting

Candles came highly recommended from a friend. We decided to stop and visit the store downtown Fredericksburg and were very dissatisfied by the customer service. We were the only people in the store and were not greeted or asked if we needed to be helped- when we asked questions to the lady there her tone of voice sounded as if - we were somehow bothering her. Definitely will not be coming back.

Everyone loves the B&BWs candle sale. But.. but.. Circle E is a candle company on a whole different level! These candles burn like a dream, seem to last forever, and the scent stays true for the length of the candle.We like the warehouse store between Fbg and Stonewall. Friendly, knowledgeable staff combined with incredible quality. Great for gifts too, for any occasion, for all sorts of people. Scents for all - men, women, differing ages.Ask about the wine glass gift box. I picked up five the other day for Christmas. You can thank me later. :)

Candles for $21.50 and now they have discontinued the 28 oz and now offer a 17 oz of $30.00!! Next size up is 43 oz and its $49.00!! Im sorry but, wow. Thats too much. Im out.

I love it there! We always go when we are traveling. The scents and phenomenal and every time we go there are so many new scents!

This is a much bigger showroom than their store in town. However, I am not sure the variety was any different. We were there recently, toward the end of October, so they had started putting out their Christmas scents. I always take part in their Buy 5 Get 1 Free promotion (I think that is a daily deal). Their candles are high quality, burn efficiently, and smell fantastic! I have pretty much started buying only Circle E Candles.

Circle E Candles is well worth the visit if youre in the area. My fiance and I like the Leather scent (kinda like new car smell). Theyre a little pricey but no other candle works as well to make whole rooms smell good. We have 3 dogs and a cat and these candles completely mask animal odor.

Well they smell good but the containers explode so it isnt worth burning your house down. I now use Tyler Candles, a better price, container and the scent throw is amazing. You turn it on in one room and your whole house will smell great. Dont buy these Circle E fire hazards!

Recently bought a candle of theirs at a local distributor. Could not get the candle to stay lit. I emailed Circle E Candles to ask how they may be able to help. Maria B. asked me to send her pictures of it and then after not hearing back from her for a couple of days I sent her another message asking what I should do. She said that they were not going to help me because they had discontinued this candle and no longer made it, and that it was sold at a discounted price. Regardless that it was their product and did not work. They did not even offer to send anything comparable to the $20 that I paid for it. I have always highly praised their candles and have been buying them for years. I’ve been to the factory a few times over the years but will not be going back. I am extremely disappointed with their customer service and my candle that will not burn.

You must try Bird of Paradise. I love love love this candle! There isnt another candle made that disperses this luscious scent throughout your house and I have a large home. Yes, the wicks do mushroom but I dont find it a problem since I trim the wicks before lighting. The longer it burns, the bigger the mushroom. Its the best candle made and it has a better, stronger fragrance than any Yankee Candle. The only other candle that can compete with the Bird of Paradise is the Tyler Candle Co.s eggnog candle. Those are the only two candles I buy anymore. THEY have lots of fragrance. You wont be sorry and you wont feel like you wasted your money.

Been purchasing Circle E candles from a commercial store or on-line for past 20+ years. Always, in the past, purchased the popular Bird of Paradise 40 oz. size. Loved, loved, loved this productRecently I needed to replenish my stock & went to the CE home web site. To my astonishment there were no 40 oz available! The largest size near that was 28 oz. (what I ended up buying).I checked out other candle websites who sell Circle E...none there either. Everyone does offer a half-galleon candle ((really...????) for $70 or higher.I ordered 7-28oz candles. They arrived yesterday. So-o-o disappointed with the size!Unless they bring back the 40 oz., sadly this will be my last order.This is why I scored the posting so low...P.S. Only Bird of Paradise has a strong scent - others do not...

To those complaining of exploding candles: Learn how to burn them properly. You saying they werent left for very long is highly suspect. My wife and I have been burning the 28oz candles for YEARS and have not had a single one explode. When a glads jar candle gets down near the bottom where the flames heat the glass more, you simply use common sense and dont burn them as long. We go through 6-10 of the 28oz candles every year, and were saddened to learn the 28oz variety was discontinued due to dumdums not using them properly.Also if you buy the error candles on discount (the ones with flaws in the glass jar creatioj process), you should expect to exercise additional caution. Maybe from now on stick to votive candles so you dont ruin the big glass jar ones us grown ups love.

Loved it. Got a Huge discount on special ordered candles that someone didnt pick up & saved a ½ of the cost of what I would have spent, just because the were Sea Blue instead of Red, the smell is Amazing.

I love these candles but they are slightly more expensive that similar candles sold in glass containers elsewhere. Bird of Paradise is one of their popular scents and it smells fantastic. The showroom/store was clean and the staff was friendly. Luckily, the candle scent I wanted was on sale during my visit.

Best candles ever! I bought one on a whim the other day, and I have never had a candle that disperses scent so well. It also burns very evenly, which surprised me. The wicks do curl a lot, but thats not a problem if you trim them regularly.And make sure you trim them! People fail to realize that the reason their candle is not burning evenly is because they are not following instructions written on the bottom of the candle.

I found these candles at a local car wash, I love candles so I had to try. The candles looked very high quality which is what caught my eye. Scents were really nice. I ended up buying 2 Ive only use 1 and the scent is very weak, I cant smell anything disappointed I paid $15 a piece for these candles. To be honest I had better candles from the dollar store and Walmart

I have always been a loyal customer...I love the cinnamon scent but I probably wont buy again. One of the wicks was too close to the side of the jar and the wax burned unevenly and now it wont stay lit. Very disappointing for a 30 dollar candle.

I was in the downtown store on 12/16/16 at 10 AM. The lady working was absolutely beautiful inside & out. She was so sweet and very helpful. She has the perfect personality for selling your beautiful candles. The store is great and the displays are so pretty & functional. I bought bow jar candles in wassil for gifts. I only regret not buying myself one.

I contacted Circle E Candles before putting this on here. They seemed not to care. Maybe I should contact a lawyer like everyone told me too. I am not that kind of person though. The Bird of Paradise (double wick) candle was given to me as a gift. Candle exploded and caught house on fire on Dec 18th. Great Christmas gift. Thank God it was contained to one room, due to my son getting extinguisher and sending sister for help. He did get overcome with smoke and was taken to hospital by ambulance for smoke inhalation. He is good now, thats all I cared about. I want people to be aware of this, so it doesnt happen to you.Michelle W

Im a candle connoisseur and usually I love Yankee Candles, however since moving to Texas, Ive fallen in love with Circle E. Their candles can throw scent for the entire house! They smell so good! And they have such good customer service, one of my candles seemed to be malfunctioning, and they promptly sent me a new one. It arrived the next day. No matter where I live, Ill be a loyal customer.

I had been purchasing Circle E off and on for years. I ran out and put a order in. They dont make them like they use to. They are poor quality, and no longer have a nice strong lasting scent. The mini e tarts are also a pain to get out of the containers. I am no longer wasting money on Circle E. Such a shame, I use to love these candles.

I was told that this is a must stop! The candles werent as strong as I like...I had a hard time finding something that resonated with me. The staff were really nice and as for the prices...regular prices are a bit high but the clearance candles were a great buy.

The first candle I ordered had a strong scent, so I ordered a second candle on sale and I could barely smell it. I contacted the company thinking that I possibly had gotten an old candle. They didn’t even respond. Very disappointed with this company. Poor customer service.

My family and I visited Fredricksburg for the first time and were very excited to stop in this store and buy several candles. We were met with an extremely rude associate who proceeded to look at her watch when we walked in and then continued to act annoyed because we came in a 1/2 hour before the store closed. When I asked her a question, she was horribly rude and told me to “read the signs to see the price”. We left and did not buy a thing.EXTREMELY rude customer service! We will not return.

Ive been a LOYAL Circle E customer for over 10 years. The only candle I have bought. My sister lives in Kerrville and buys me the big daddy jar every year for Xmas and I love it. This past year she shipped me the giant jar candle and the bottom broke out of it. This is a $70 candle, plus shipping costs. FedEx wouldnt credit her and I called Circle E and to see if I could ship them the broken candle and they could use the wax to pour in a new one. They said they wouldnt do that and suggested I buy a Scentsy warmer to use the wax that way. So spend another $30. Not cool and certainly not a way to treat your customers who are loyal to you. End of my Circle E relationship.

Have always purchased the Circle E Candles in the past over other brands because they always had the strongest scent. I dont feel like the quality is as good as in the past because the scents are so faint now. Might as well buy the cheaper brands.

Bought a 30 dollar candle and was very disappointed that they are much smaller now than the old ones with the glass lids. Guess ill start looking for another candle maker.

Caution! Great smelling candle but DO NOT LEAVE UNATENDED the container will explode. We had one burning in our kitchen on our island for several hours we noticed a burning plastic smell then the glass container exploded sending wax and glass all over our kitchen it also burnt our countertop bad enough that it will have to be replaced.

Dropped by on a weekday, the store was nearly empty save for one couple who were chatting up with the sales clerk. My husband and I werent acknowledged at all during our visit, not even a hello from the female clerk (who apparently was more interested in talking about where she lived....near Comfort, than helping customers). I had every intention of buying my fave fragrance in various sizes (bird of paradise) at the actual store since I normally order online or buy these candles at boutiques in San Antonio. We walked out after 10 minutes of roaming unacknowledged, feeling invisible. I knew what I wanted so not looking for a consultant, but certainly wasnt going to give my business to a sales clerk that had to go more out of her way to dismiss our existence than to say hello, welcome. Candles are great, human decency is even better. Switching back to online or B&BWorks candles. Owners/Mgr. of circle E, if you care to coach this clerk: we went on Thursday, 10/13 around noon.

Purchased pumpkin candles and one small candle, and i have come to the realization that I am allergic to something in these candles that makes me sneeze. I wanted to return the last two i had left (one of them was lit for a very short time) and the only one i could return was the small one (not worth my shipping back). So i was out the $52 i paid for one candle. Not a very good policy. I will never purchase these candles again.

I use to love Circle E candles but the last two I bought busted and got all over my mantle. Not very happy about it and probably wont use them again.

My candle broke, I didnt realize, went to pick it up and cut my finger. The candle burned my furniture. Contacted Circle E and they sent me instructions on how to burn a candle. Never had this happen before and Ive used many types of candle....from Glade to Yankee Candles. Beware...they are dangerous!
