My boyfriend and I bought two 5 gallon buckets of the same white semi gloss paint. The paint didnt match and when he went back to fix the error they said he would have to purchase another 5 gallon bucket and take the hit even though it was their error. Cant believe this would be any stores paint policy considering they are the one unable to match paints. You can clearly see how different the two whites are after drying.

Okay, we all know about the Freestyle Rocker Chair that ARE $65 at all the following: These are available on amazon, academy, Lowes, home depot, hibbett sports and last but not least, Sutherlands here in Fredericksburg, tx. Well, there is not any of the above in Fredericksburg except hibbett sports and Sutherlands. The price tag at sutherlands was $88.99. I spoke with a manager who said they would price match local stores. Hibbett Sports sells them for $65 like EVERYONE else. Hibbett sports was out of stock so I went back to sutherlands. I spoke with the manager who said he would not price match hibbett sports because they were sold out. (shouldnt matter) he said they would price match the local stores. TURNS out the price tag on the chair was wrong and the manager said they sell them for $110!!!!!!!!!!! when i asked why he was charging a $110 for the EXACT chair for that price when EVERYONE else sales it for $65. The manager said in a rude manner that HE WAS HERE TO MAKE MONEY!!! I strongly DISAGREE with his mentality to charge $45 more because he is trying to make a dollar. I will not be shopping here with a manager who would not even honor the price tag THAT THEY PUT ON!!! it was a $110 no matter what even though he said the would PRICE MATCH local stores. This is a dishonest manager and lost a customer who has spent more than enough money supporting local stores. Very disappointed and hope that upper management will correct him.

Such a disappointing place, could be a good place for getting about everything you need but whoever is in charge does a lousy job, some associates are helpful when you can find one, biggest complaint is they are unable to Maintain stock of popular items in the hardware and electrical departments, no excuse for running out of stock on conduit and couplers related. Need better management or further up the ladder??

They didnt have the exact baseboard I was looking for but had a nice selection. Everyone I had contact with were very curtious. I enjoyed their air conditioning.

I went in the other day. Customer service was not good at all. Went looking for an employee and found one sitting talking and laughing with a couple of girls. Asked if they work there. The employee said I do and told him I needed help. Asked for outside outlets. He said aile 7, which was wrong and then got on radio to call someone to help. The help never came, so I just walked out of there. Walmart down the road got my business and I was walking around looking for what I needed and an employee asked if I needed help. It was not his department but he walked me to the right department and the person to help me. That is great customer service. That was not what I got at Sutherlands.

I will not support Sutherlands Fredericksburg ever again.Had a huge project and bought all materials in bulk and asked the manager for discount, as his reply was, “for what”. I will take my business elsewhere.

I went to Sutherlands twice in as many days. Both times they didnt have the basic tools that I needed and I had to go find them at Walmart. These guys need to get a better inventory.

Fredericksburg’s ”tweenie” store for small projects and home repair. Garden, lumber, hardware, plumbing, lighting, tools, and paint. They have a little bit of everything but not enough of any one thing. What I’m meaning to say for example, is if you need a ladder, you can get a ladder if you need one of the ladders they have in stock. The same might go for light bulbs, painting caulk, pvc fittings, lumber, construction screws, general hardware, or hand tools. Helpful staff, too often inventory constrained retail space if you need multiple of anything.

Cheaper than ace and good variety of items compared to other places in town. Very nice and helpful employees.

Today, the poorest service Ive ever had there. Ironically, the guy at the return counter was the most helpful, & checked me out, 3 employees bsn, I gathered & loaded my lumber, tarps, etc. I even brought the lumber cart back back inside, put it back in the line! $135 isnt enough to........ whatever!

Its not that I dislike Sutherlands, but the quality of most products they stock, quantity on hand, and customer service overall is why I gave them this rating. I shop here only because its not a 70 mile round trip. Many people I know stock up at Home Depot or Lowes so they avoid shopping here.
