Great selection and service. My brother-in-law and I were especially fond of equilibrium fluctuation wave! They also let you try several examples of drafts and a nice selection of can and bottled products!

Great craft selection for such a small shop. It really seems like the owner is jazzed about the beer they sell because their stock is heavy on breweries that arent as commonly sold outside of the larger specialty stores. Ive been loving Tripping Animals and Adroit Theory lately and this place is usually decently stocked with brew from both.Also they have some stuff on tap you can try and take away in crowlers.

This store has all kinds of craft beer from across the country!! What a gem! They sell canned beer, Tap beer you can bring your growler or purchase a crowler, they also have a variety of wines. Check this place out!

Visiting friends (My across the pond family) in Frederickburg and popped in (Last visit they were just opening up). Extremely friendly and a fantastic selection of real ales (Craft ales). If you like a good brew then this is the place to visit. Looking forward to my next visit across the pond from Plymouth UK.

They have approximately 16 taps to fill growlers of various craft beers. They have a great selection of bottled and can craft beers and wine. Great friendly service.

Friendly atmosphere bursting with a variety of local beers and wines.

Ive enjoyed Fredericksburg Brew Exchange for years, but my recent visit was less than wonderful. I came in and wanted to check on my reward points balance in their system. This point system gives you 1 point per dollar spent at the store. I had saved up probably 70 points or so, and wanted to check on them. The woman at the counter looked less than thrilled to be helping me, like she wished she were doing anything else. She ended up telling me they had purged all of my rewards points from their system because I had not shopped there in a while. Im not sure what the point of loyalty points is if youre just gonna delete them. The staff at this store is usually excellent, and of course the selection is as well, but this whole experience rubbed me the wrong way.

Great place to fill a growler and interesting beer selection

Small but very well stocked, this is a great place to get your growler filled in downtown Fredericksburg. While the prices are a bit steeper than what youll find at most breweries, its important to remember the FBX isnt a brewer itself. Instead, they have a wide variety of different styles and brewers on tap -- something to wet any discriminating whistle. There are racks with hundreds of delicious microbrews, in case you are looking to sample many different beers, as well as accessories. They also offer gift certificates, so you can give friends a thoughtful gift.

Best beer store in town

Prices are a bit higher than bigger beer stores around but that comes with shopping at small businesses. This place offers growler fills. Only thing I wish they had more of was cold beer - I dont think they have any refrigerated can or bottle options.
