I got a bunch of yarns for a dollar and $2 each! Definitely worth visiting if theres a sale going on. The store layout and lighting may make you feel like you are shopping in some kind of a 90s department store, but the cashier was very helpful. She helped me get another 20% discount for my total order.

First time here, the employees were helpful and nice. The only thing I was not happy was they were out of stock of a lot of items. Not sure if the store is closing or they had a really good deal. Overall, it was a good experience, I will be coming back, and it was clean too!

Michaels has been around now for a long time and still is the main, got to have this now crafts and arts store. I have been going to it since the 90s, and well, its still here today. I drop a star cause this thing called the internet was able to slash prices and offer more options, but as a crafter and painter, if I need a quick something, 99% of the time, they have it in stock. I say 99% due to needing real silk rope. That was an item the store did not have. Overall, great store you can dream in.

I just picked up my framed cross stitched picture. The Michaels staff did an awesome job. From the beginning when I brought my needlework project in to get an estimate I was treated with very friendly and knowledgeable employees. Their help of colors and textures of mats and frames made the process easier. I would highly recommend them over and over.

I used to come here a lot as a kid with my dad, and always enjoyed the HUGE selection at my disposal. I couldnt speak to the customer service then as I dont recall, but I stopped in tonight and have nothing but praise! I had no clue really where anything was, but the sweet girl at the register (I believe her name was Rowan) was eager to help and I found everything I needed with ease! She also went out of her way to find out pricing on some items that were unmarked I was interested in. When ringing up my purchase, I guess I qualified for a discount so she even scanned a coupon that saved me 20%! I appreciate your help, especially on a late weeknight like tonight!

Came here with my kids for some art supplies. This location has a better journaling section than other stores Ive seen. Lots of notebooks, pens, markers, and other supplies. Prices were good on the store brand (Artist Loft), but some of the name brands were pricey. A 10 pack of Pilot pens for $20 is twice the price of other stores. The staff was helpful and friendly. Getting to this location is a little scary, given its proximity to the traffic circle at the Spotsylvania Town center... But its worth the risk.

Easy to find, has more items than a previous store Id been to. Found sewing notions, Ive needed for a while.

Much like other Michaels stores, its difficult to find a staff member to help you, but the staff is very knowledgeable. Just about everything is extremely overpriced, unless you exclusively purchase 40+% off. Very fun to window shop and great for craft ideas.

I got some supplies to help my homeschoolers with for his Bible curriculum. Found Everything I needed, was in and out. Love this place.

Every time I come in I see multiple customers w no mask and they aren’t monitoring how many people they let in the store at a time. i’m almost always the only customer with a mask on. the store is dirty and no one sanitizes anything. people are dying from a pandemic and michael’s only cares about selling their products. I won’t be coming back to this location. shameful

Stopped in to grab a few supplies and found that many of the items I was looking for were on clearance. I think they were changing out the inventory because things were pretty disorganized. I asked an associate for help (Summer) who was clearly in the middle of another task. Without hesitation she stopped and helped for several minutes. When I went to checkout a lot of the items were ringing up at full price. This associate (Samantha) called for the other to cover the register so other customers could check out and then went to the isle with me. The items were on clearance and we finished checking out. Here’s my point. These two young ladies get customer service. With many options for supplies in town, this store clearly has a competitive advantage. Kudos to them and whoever is training associates at this store. Great Job!

They carry so much and do a great job, considering the age of the building that theyve got. The building is a bit small and old, but its clean and neat. The staff is wonderful; professional and attentive. Recently interacted with the regional manager, who stopped what she was doing to help me figure out a last minute craft project.

Movies are great theaters are great I think the individual recliners are a nice touch. That being said the only reason they did not receive five stars is because of the cost. Three adults, a large popcorn, a small popcorn and three drinks. The better part of$100

I always visit there when I need new backgrounds for photography. They always have good props for winter, spring, summer or fall. It is a craft store after all. & The employees always, always ask me if I need help. They dont tell me where to go & assumeI know, they walk me over to what ever it is I need & point at the product &/or sometimes pick it up for me. 👍👍👍👍👍

I enjoy walking in the door and smelling all the wonderful scents! It always smells like fall. The store is neat and clean, and the staff is friendly. Checkout was fast and efficient. The bathroom needs an update, but other than that its a great place to buy all your arts and crafts needs. They also have a variety of home decor.

Quick and easy shopping. There are plenty of locations scattered in the area. Coupons are generally available online to offset their higher than normal prices, but may only be applied to a single item. They do run frequent sales that can range to premium items. They are a go to for quick mid to higher end art materials that you need immediately. The service is always strong and expedient.

I love Michaels. This store reminds me of Hobby Lobby for its huge variety of different items. They have framing, flowers, crafts galore. Window shopping is fun here.

Was busy but checkout moved quickly. Found yarn i was looking for and used a competitors coupon and one of theirs. Yarn aisles need attention. Were alittle sloppy. Store is hard to get to from traffic circle. Be careful especially on the weekend.

A nice arts and craft store, I’ve been coming here since I was young and love every minute of it. There is almost always a sale so it’s best to check in online first for coupons before going. Some art supplies can be quite expensive but the frequency of sales tends to make up for it. My only complaint is that it’s located in a very busy area so it can be kind of hard to get to given its right next to the mall.

The mark of a good craft store is if it makes you excited for your next project. Michaels did that. I went in to get the price for something and ended up forgetting why I had come in in the first place. I must have gotten three project ideas from just walking around in there. I really liked the blendable marker aisle. One of the Brands has a display where you can try the markers out on paper. If there had been room I would have written a small tutorial on how to blend colors. Honestly though I think the best part about this store is the fact that it is right next to a store where you can buy pieces of Art. Walking through both of those stores together makes for a wonderful time killer. Who needs the mall anyway. I dont know how the prices compare to other craft stores ( being that I forgot why I was there) however the buying experience would make me want to see what this store has to offer first.

They have a good variety of things but I did have a bit of trouble finding a good set of oil paints. I did eventually settle on some and they work quite well, just a bit expensive though. Friendly staff and overall clean store. 👍

Poor inventory. Michaels products are stale, they dont even seem to try to get newer crafty things in in a timely way.

Witnessed a very frustrating event while waiting in line to pay. Monica, a store manager I think, was extremely rude and disrespectful to a trainee. The woman trainee asked for assistance and was publicly “dressed down” for doing so. I could tell she was very embarrassed. Instead of empowering her employee she berated her. I would never work for a corporation that tolerated such behavior in their management staff. Wonder if she treats all employees this way? Monica in Spotsyvania store is a disgrace to the company. Shame on her.

Super difficult to find anything in this store, with employees very hit or miss when it comes to providing guidance to item locations. On the other hand they have just about everything you could want in regard to crafting. Dont go without downloading a 40% or more coupon... Theyve let me use it on all of my items more than once, and I wouldnt buy anything there without the money off as it can usually be had cheaper elsewhere save for coupon usage.

I love Michaels of Fredericksburg Virginia framing Department. Lynn Peller is kind and courteous I love going there and doing all my artwork. I would not ever consider going anywhere else.

You will get lost forever in this store if you have a crafting obsession like me. Dont recommend if you are on a budget. They have everything you could ever need.

This store is very clean. However Ive been in there 3 times over the past 3 weeks and they still have the same trash can in the baking aisle collecting water because the ceiling is leaking. This is very unfortunate for me because I am a very Avid Baker and trying to get the supplies that I need is rather difficult while trying to maneuver around a trash can full of water. I still love the store and I love the deals that we find its just what I go in for is very difficult to get to.

Walked around the store looking for a small zipper to take to the alterations man at the mall. Passed several employees that didnt bother to greet me OR ask if I needed help. I eventually asked for help finding what I needed and the worker couldnt tell me where anything was. Michaels- train your younger employees better to know where products are and train them to greet and ask people if they need help.

This is a great Michaels customer service wise. How ever it leaves a lot to be desired as far as store organization is concerned. The checkout line is often very slow. I suspect part of this is because they have a tendency to leave up signs for sales past. They do however tend to honor the price, for example I bought some things recently that were suposed to be 60% off, according to the 4 or 5 signs on and around the display, however that sale had ended several days before. I was going to wait on buying most of the Items due to them being full price but they chose to honor the sale. Overall I would recommend but the hobby lobby is easier to navigate in a wheelchair.

Signed up for a decorating class and they wrote me down for the wrong time, even though i had a print out from when i signed up saying i had the evening class. The teacher never showed up and the manager stated that Wilton requires there needs to be 4 people per class, which I understand. The issue is that I was the only one in the class, they had my number, and no one reached out to me so I sat there for 20 minutes waiting. The manager said shed give the instructer my number but I never received a call from her which means I just wasted time and money on the class that I wont be getting back. I may still shop here, but I will not be taking another class here again.

I was in Va. to complete arrangements for a family wedding........Michaels is my go to store in Florida. I was delighted to be assisted by a lovely associate named Janet........she was helpful, pleasant, and went out of her way to get answers to my questions. It was not until I got to the check out that my experience turned sour. The manager on duty, Rosemary, was abrupt, dismissive, and rude........customer service clearly not a priority. Since I do business with Michaels on a frequent basis I am familiar with their policy of customer satisfaction..........Rosemary clearly has not been informed or being informed does not care. Janet gets an A+........Rosemary should choose an occupation more suited to her lack of personality...............retail sales will not miss her.
