Lori is the Audiologist, she take time to explain EVERYTHING to her patients. She listens to their needs, fears and wants. Wonderful, caring people at this place. They did a thorough exam, while explaining what to expect and what the test was for. Answered all my questions and gave me good information. Lori, the audiologist is skilled and shows she knows her stuff. Nora, the office coordinator was pleasant to talk to, followed up, called to tell me what to expect and apologized when she had to ask me the Covid-19 questions each time I came. Very good practice of social distancing, sanitizing hands constantly, and all wearing masks as wells as expecting patients to do the same. Good Job. Highly recommend this practice.

Ive had a great experience with Lori Barr and Joy. Ive never had a problem with this office for the 9 years Ive been coming here! They are always so welcoming and knowledgeable. All my questions are not only answered, but explained to me in a way I can understand. They make you feel like you are the only person they see. They remember what you told them was going on in your life during the last visit (often 6 months ago) and ask how things are going. I would recommend them to anyone looking into hearing aids!

I took my 9-year-old here to get her hearing tested today. Test was a lot more comprehensive than the test they give at the schools and reveal she did have hearing loss. They were very sweet to her and made her feel comfortable!

Sonus of Frederick, Md., is a excellent hearing service center. I have been going there for around 15 years, and I was never disappointed in the service from Lori and Joy. From hearing aid checks, ear molds, hearing tests, to buying new hearing aids they are professionals and very friendly. I don`t see any reason to find another hearing care center.

I cant say enough good things about the staff at Sonus of Frederick. My experience with Sonus began well over 5 years ago when I was unable to schedule an appointment with my previous audiologist, despite being in need of an emergency repair on my hearing aid. I called Sonus skeptically, expecting to hear that they would not be able to schedule me for a couple of days, at least. To my surprise, Joy and Lori were able to see me that morning, and immediately took care of the issue. I was, and still am, amazed at their customer service. They are always attentive, friendly, and welcoming, no matter what my situation may be. Joy has always been able to schedule emergency appointments on the same day, and they are always able to schedule my routine appointments at times that are convenient for me.Lori and Joy have also taken the time to get to know me on a personal level, and this helps them to better understand just how dependent I am on my hearing aids. Having 2 small children, its simply not possible for me to be without my hearing aids for any length of time. They understand this, and always go above and beyond to ensure that I am always able to have functional hearing aids, whether it be my own or loaners, should mine need repair. Due to the lack of insurance coverage on hearing aids, Lori and Joy understand that the cost of maintaining hearing aids can be a bit stressful. Over the past 5 years, they have gone above and beyond to find the most financially beneficial ways for me to maintain my hearing aids, and this has saved me an unimaginable amount of money. I currently live in southern PA, and travel 35 minutes to Sonus of Frederick whenever my hearing aids are concerned, even though I believe that there is a location closer to my home. The trip is worth every mile. Lori and Joy have been absolute lifesavers for me, and I would recommend this location to anyone looking for advice on hearing loss, or assistance with hearing aids. These ladies will take the time to make sure youre getting the best care possible!

If you are looking to get a thorough hearing test and hearing aids that really work look no further! I have tried other hearing aids at 2 different places and returned them because they did not help me. I have never heard this good in a long time. I am very thankful for the staff at Sonus for improving my life. I can tell you that my wife is very pleased too. The on going care and service has been outstanding.

Ive used hearing aids for over 30 years, so Ive worked with many audiologists and hearing aid dispenser over the years in Frederick. Lori Barr is a top rated hearing care professional. I did a lot of research on providers in the area and had a number of evaluations before making my last hearing aid purchase. They are professional, friendly and knowledgable. They go beyond the expected level of customer service.With hearing aids having so much technology now, its very important that the hearing aid dispenser/audiologist is tech savvy. Ive worked with another audiologist who sold me expensive hearing aids but never was able to successfully program them. Lori Barr is highly confident with the technology and was able to understand my needs and adjust the aids. To be successful with hearing aids, you need to commit to using them every day from morning to night. This may require multiple return visits to have Lori adjust the hearing aids until everything sounds right to you. It takes time for your brain to get used to hearing new things! I see her a few times a year for my free clean and check, and to get my free batteries. In other words, you get what you pay for. If you go for discount warehouse aids, you wont get the performance and maintenance.I highly recommend Sonus Hearing Care Professionals in Frederick, MD.

I have long felt that aids would help me, but, as a stubborn guy, would not make the first step.Lori walked me through the steps and to date, everything has been far better than I expected. I am still in the trial stage and they have been able to schedule visits around a crazy travel schedule, which is very important to me.On a scale of 1 to 10, my quality of life for normal daily conversation improvement is 9.5.

First, the staff at SONUS is very nice and easy to deal with.In terms of the service, Lori is very methodical and well versed in the technology she offers. She also is very customer friendly and accommodating. I needed a follow up visit for proper fit of my hearing aids, and she went out of her way to schedule and meet me at the office when otherwise she had appointments out of the office. Also, she has followed up with me through the app that Phonak provided and has been tracking my diary. We are going to schedule a remote session. So this is about all you could ask for in a provider, customer caring and friendly, great expertise, excellent customer support. It has been a very good experience so far and I am happy I made the decision to go to SONUS. The other point to make is, I am hearing things I hadn’t heard in years and it has been life changing experience to have the hearing aids.Thank you so much Lori!
