This place is the BEST! Rob was very helpful in designing the tops for my nightstands. It was a small job for this company but they treated me as if I was redoing my entire kitchen! I went to a couple other places and was not given the same courtesy and professionalism that I received from Rob and his wife. I highly recommend this place for any job you may want done. You won’t be disappointed and you will receive great customer service!

We LOVE our new countertops & backsplash. Dan helped us from beginning to end of this process. We never felt like we were being pushed into anything. The owner came out and took the measurements. The work was done all in one day, the installers were nice and professional. Also a bonus that the pricing is very reasonable!

This review is strictly about the customer service received from Unique Stone. We are very happy with the fabrication of the counters and the installers Dennis and Francisco from The Granite Doctors were excellent.First issue - scheduled a time for someone to come out and take measurements, this time was between 9 and 10 am. At 11am we called and asked for an update and they said they were behind and moved the time to later in the afternoon. This rescheduling happened 3 times in which each time they did not show up in the window they stated we had to call them to get an update. We finally had to settle on a measurement date scheduled for two days later.After we got our measurement, paid our deposit we received an installation date. This was a bit of a mix up as well but nothing to fret over. The day before the installation we received a call from Dan (stated he was a new guy) asking if the installers could come and remove the old counters. We agreed and they removed the counters the sink and disassembled the cook top. We were scheduled for install between 9 and 10 the next day. The next day 10:15, no installers, we had to track down someone to find out why. We were told the installers went to the wrong job first and that they would be with us by 2pm. 2pm comes and goes and again we have to track down someone to get a status. Finally at 5pm a different installation crew showed up and installed our counters. At 8pm we get a call from Dan asking is it okay for the plumber to come back the next morning. Well I am now 2 days without running water or a working stove in my kitchen. Plumber did come the next day and was the very first person to come on time at the agreed scheduled time.Its very disappointing to go through this and pay a lot of money only to receive horrible customer service. We never received a visit from anyone from Unique Stone. The only time we talked to them was them telling us they were not doing the work at the scheduled time and we had to initiate that communication. After the counters were installed the only communication from Unique Stone was an invoice for the final bill. Yes they took 100 dollars off for our troubles but I didnt ask for that. All I wanted was communication. I am all for supporting a small business and during this COVID pandemic where small business are affected I really want to support. This is a company that I will never support again nor will I recommend their services to anyone.I am happy to see so many had positive experiences with this company however mine was horrible.

We recently worked with Unique Stones for a kitchen and bath renovation. They were great. This was the first time Ive ever done anything like this and didnt know the process, so when I called Unique Stones, they explained everything to me - and gave me recommendations for places to purchase the quartzite we wanted.They were very easy to work with, very accommodating, and expert at the work they do. We had delays in our reno and they were very professional when we needed to make changes to our schedule.I would absolutely use them again (and probably will when we redo the rest of our house!). I highly recommend them!

We considered several countertop stores when purchasing our quartz countertops and decided ¹to go with Unique Stones. They were slightly more expensive ($190) than the lowest bidder, but we were impressed with the timeliness and follow through that Rob, the owner, provided in terms of the measurement process and install dates. The install was fantastic. The product was precut at their store with little to no waste. They wrapped a window sill for us that eliminated a problem we had for many years. There was one problem with leveling of that window sill and Rob took care of that immediately the next day. My wife loves her new countertops and she is not easy to please! So glad we decided to use Unique Stones and support a small local business.

Had Unique Stones put in a 2 level bar top with counter level granite and second elevated bar height counter. they did an amazing job. Excellent craftsmanship and edging. Seams are almost impossible to see and the flow of the markings in the stone were matched about as perfectly as could be done. Angel was very easy to work with--extremely professional, on time with his estimates and followed through answering all of my questions. Installation was performed exactly as promised. these guys do amazing work--they deliver what and when they promise. If I ever need additional counter tops I will not hesitate to call them.

After receiving quotes from maybe 7 or 8 different fabricators, I chose Unique Stones to install my kitchen and master bath countertops. I couldn’t find a better price and their staff was very friendly. Their price for a vanity top was half the cost of another local supplier, and the only difference was that I had to choose from leftover slabs. Luckily, I chose a common stone and they had multiple pieces in the shop already.The staff at Unique Stones answered all of my questions quickly, and I was able to pick my kitchen slab from a large list of different suppliers. The countertops are beautiful, and I’m very happy with my choice. Everyone who sees my new countertops thinks they’re beautiful and upscale.Unique Stones was very flexible and the fabrication was very quick. I know someone that chose Home Depot for granite and they’re spending hundreds of dollars more for just their kitchen countertops. They have also been waiting since April and won’t have countertops until the end of July. Home Depot also uses several different contractors, so work can be done on different days, potentially leaving customers without a functional kitchen for several days. My stone slab came from the same supplier that Home Depot uses, but I had mine installed within 2 weeks for a lot less money, and everything was done in 3 hours.Unique Stones did everything just how I asked, and I’m very happy with the results. There were no surprises or hidden charges. I would definitely chose them in the future if I ever need stone countertops. I can’t recommend them enough!

I had 3 estimates for quartz countertops for to be installed in my kitchen, and two bathrooms. Unique Stones Granite & Marble Countertops from Frederick, Maryland came to my home in two days to give me an estimate. They were the best priced of all three estimates. They installed the kitchen countertop less than a week after I confirmed that I was going with them. The two young men that installed the kitchen countertop were super friendly, and were very careful with everything they came in contact with. I couldnt have asked for a better place to buy, and install my kitchen countertop. We are so pleased that we are having Unique also install the quartz bathroom countertops that we bought from them.
