I was on a mission to find Case Azul Tequila for a wedding. I found out this is a very hard bottle to find and no one has it in stock. I called at minimum, 16 liquor stores and SEAN SMITH @ HI-WAY LIQUORS was the only person who offered to call his supplier to see if he could get it. Talk about GREAT customer service!! Highly recommend Hi-Way Liquors.

Leaving this review for people that look like me. the prices are insane for starters. a bottle that is normally priced everywhere else for $119.00 is $160.00. you can clearly see inflated prices for most tequila and cognac. the cost of living in DC and Montgomery County is way higher than Frederick County so these prices make no sense.The worst part is the guy we briefly spoke to was immediately red in the face upon our entry, very short, very unpleasant attitude, very bothered by our presence. It was uncomfortable because the location already makes you question if the neighborhood next door is a sundown town...just no.

The liquor store has been around for many years with a fabulous selection of beer and wine. They now have an awesome craft beer section. Employees are going above and beyond offering to help in anyway including carrying your items to your car!

Pleasant experience, good selection, would recommend stopping by if your looking for someplace to purchase spirits.

One of my go to places. They have a great selection. I was surprised by a bottle of Buffalo Trace one time. Great staff. Very nice, and helpful.

Very nice place. The county liquor board regulates alcohol pricing so if youre looking to compare prices then youre wasting your time. If you want to rate a liquor store then you have to base your critique on customer service, selection and cleanliness. Based on this criteria, Hi-Way Liquors can lead the pack hands down! The selection of beer, wine and liquor is unparalleled. If youre looking for an item that is not on their shelves then they will order it for you if desired. The store is old but kept up very well for the age of the place. Its always very clean. To top it all off, the staff is very friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make you feel like your business is important to them and they actually want you to be shopping at their store and they want you to return. If I could rate this store 10 stars instead of 5, then it would be well deserved and earned by this business.

I had the occasion, on a hot sweltering August afternoon, to visit this establishment. Tucked away on what many early visitors and prospectors alike always called The Golden Mile.Rather than A Pond Runs Through It - in this case, A Road Runs Through It. Now, that being said, writing a review about a Liquor Establishment might raise eyebrows.It should not; what else can you think of thats perfectly legal and provides such refreshment?I was asked in a much different and more restricted setting - have you ever taken drugs?I said sure, you mean Aspirin !The woman laughed so loud she could be heard in the next room.Well things have certainly changed since then, but not always for the betterment of humanity.Journey a few miles down the Old Trodden Path - towards Annapolis, Md. or Washington, D.C.Youll find the same beverages, but not the atmosphere. The other establishments arent quite as conducive to this sort of gab nor its place in history.With the current pace of things - I still find the notion of quaint to be alluring.BLOCKCHAIN is also something to seriously ponder.And I firmly believe an occasional Cigar, smoked outdoors, does no harm. Super friendly staff and a solid (if somewhat limited) selection of lesser known brands. Their craft beer selection is growing and their wine selection is solid. Super willing to special order products as well!

A place that has been there for years . But looks fresh. Great selections of wine. Always hiring. But you never see new faces. 😊 Kind employees.
