We are locals and feel it is the BEST soft serve around. Slightly different taste and better texture than that other large chain soft serve place. It is a pick up and eat elsewhere type of place. It does have outside seating but not the best of views, on a busy street with less attractive business buildings around. BUT WORTH GOING FOR PICK UP AND EAT AT A PLACE YOU ENJOY.

What a great ice cream store! The line was wrapped around the building but they had staff outside taking orders and then hand delivering the food to the window. They use real Oreos in their blended ice cream. My strawberry vanilla twist was wonderful. Great portions for a great price. I felt like a happy kid. The the server was very pleasant and engaging. We certainly will be back!

Some of the best memories I ever had in my 40 years of life are from Dairy Maid. This gem has the best Boston Coolers, banana splits, and great ice pops that you can’t find anywhere else! Drive thru is amazing! This gem is the absolute best!

I have been frequenting The Dairy Made Ice Cream Stand for a long, long time. They are an awesome, legit Stand, not some mindless franchise that was assembles by the latest and greatest marketing idiots who think they know more about yourself than you do. Some soft serve ice cream Ive had at other places tastes chalky and had a very dry after taste to it and Dairy Maids ice cream has always been top notch, exactly what I was craving and it always hits the spot. Their prices are also very reasonable. You wont spend $40 on yourself, your wife and 2 kids. The owners who are husband and wife and the sweets people and always have a great, cheerful attitude! I can say enough good things about this place. I wish them 50+ more years of success!

Upside down banana split, cant beat it, so worth it, start with a small your first time the med and large are huge. Staff is great, they keep the drive thru moving. Wish I could have left a tip with my card! Dont really carry cash so I was disappointed for that

I had an Oreo Flurries and they did an awesome job of listening when. I said I wanted extra Oreos and they even let me get some on the side. Right now ice cream is easy for me to eat well once it melts a little bc i have really bad teeth hurting. Trying to get them pulled but dentals places are backed up bc of covid my appt isnt til Sept which is a long time to be in very bad pain.

Just tried to walk up and was completely ignored. If you dont have the staff to have both the walk up window and drive thru open then you need to close. Also, try hiring people other than literal children (your Facebook page explicitly states you only hire 14-16 year olds) so they can stay late, but you most likely hire them to pay them less than minimum wage. Will never be returning.

I have been coming here a few times a Summer for years now. Have had a bunch of the sweet treats that have all been delicious. I like the glaciers most of all. Fruit is fresh and they give you topping galore.

We use the druve through at least once weekly. Our puppy loves it too....ask for the puppy treat! Beware of the size of the upside down Banana Split. A medium is more like another place large or extra large!

Today my husband and I tried out dairy maid because we live fairly close and weve always passed and wondered if it would be good. We were actually on our way to Wallys because we are obsessed with that place but we decided to give dairy maid a try. The wait wasnt too long which is obviously always an awesome thing but our interactions with the lady servicing us was not pleasant at all. I asked her a simple question about the dipped flavors offered because I did not see it on the menu and she was very dull and quick to respond. She was frustrated and I dont know why. Sure we gave her the benefit of the doubt because she could just be having a bad day but dont take it out on a customer who is being pleasant and still saying thank you after you continue to be a bit rude. She slammed the window every time she closed it. That was about 4 times and my husband and I were like alright then. We were having such a pleasant evening but that frustrated us a bit. Service is very important to us. The ice cream was okay but since the service was super disappointing I think were going to stick with Wallys. It might be a little more of a drive but it is what it is.

Love dairy maid! Ive been going with my husband for about 10 years and with my son and husband for 6. They have so many choices to choose from you couldnt walk away with something you liked. I love the flurries the best. They are like the Dairy Queen blizzards. I also like their chocolate/vanilla ice cream and their sundaes. My husband gets the slushies and loves them. My little guy gets the chocolate ice cream on a cone and devours it. I love this little ice cream shop. Very friendly staff. Cash only. Enjoy!

Cute old-time independent ice cream place with lots of good flavor combinations. Almost every time Ive been here, the ice cream has been very good. (One time, I just didnt choose a very interesting flavor). The employees are friendly, and there is seating, though its a busy road, so not the most idyllic spot.

Just had an amazing upside down banana split, its like a banana boat but in a cup, better for driving with. Saw them pour in fresh strawberries so I knew it was going to be good, the strawberry juice from dessert strawberries is a great way to get that strawberry flavor mixed into my ice cream, I didnt really want the pineapple and they were happy to substitute blueberries for me. A Fraser classic, my mom went there as a kid, hope it stays forever. Dont forget its cash only, just like the old time ice cream places.

Bought a banana split & all the fruit were so nasty slimy & old when I called to tell them the supervisor said she would give me a refund & throw out all the fruit & change it with a new batch.. sad that someone has to call & complain before they think to switch the fruit out. Then when I went to pick up my refund it was a gift certificate umm after the way my fruit looked Im not coming back what makes them think I want a gift certificate & all the employees were being terribly rude management or owners definitely need to check up on them more often theyre lucky its not corporate so theres really no one to complain to.

I dont know for sure when The Dairy Maid opened but I am middle aged and have been going there since I was a kid with my parents and then with my kids. It may have had various owners over the years but has always been a tradition in my family. Love the flurries, cones and sundaes and they offer character stick ice creams for the kids such as Spongebob, Hello Kitty and Spiderman! The prices are fairly reasonable. Im sure it would be more if it was indoors.

Couple of memories abound regarding ice cream trucks. One is running out to meet the trucks with neighberhood friends on our street- Moors, girl scouts making ice cream socials like banana splits and nearby friends around stores when visiting.
