If you want to learn how to practically grow dirt, go to this nursery. I was not rushed with the many questions I had, even with someone standing behind me in line. I walked through the facility with my mouth hanging open at all of the plants and different variations within the same plant family.Oh wait, theres more!!!What about cost, you may ask. Theres a plant that fits every budget. I walked in with a certain amount that I could comfortably spend and I got one extra plant and change. I said, SHUT THE FRONT DOOR!!!!Cant wait to go back. So glad I found my new plant home.

Incredibly friendly staff. Don’t wear new shoes if you are checking out the trees. Great quality plants for cheaper than the big box stores.

Great customer service, the people were attentive, friendly and polite. They also have a good array of indoor plants selection, those that are both tropical and exotic plants. This has easily become one of my favorite plant store.

For third time, I went down to this nursery only to find low inventory on the trees I wanted. I called ahead to make sure they were stocked and was told they had plenty of my trees. Got there to find out that was false. Wasted a whole day. Found mytrees in dickson at a third of the price.

This nursery gives a personable touch to their customers. They are very knowledgable & helpful with types of plants for gardening or landscape. It’s not your “free for all” garden center like Home Depot. Much more laid back atmosphere. It’s a joy to visit this nursery.

Previous customer turned employee. Truly the best place to work and shop. Their plants are healthy and they have a huge selection. I enjoy the people I work with a great deal. Not only are they wonderful people to work with they are all very knowledgeable about plants and always very friendly. They love what they do and it shows. I love this place as an employee and customer. 🙂

Great people and great plants! We always come every October to stock up on pumpkins and corn stalks. The kids absolutely love the pumpkin decorating and the tractor ride. Always grateful for this gem of a place.

I absolutely love this place! They have so many flowers,herbs, and trees the staff is totally wonderful and very helpful. I also love that there plant are not sprayed and they care about our wildlife. Thank you for having my Miss Molly butterfly bush she is looking great. I am so happy I found Riverbend. I use them for personal use as well as their wholesale side.I love to go on a Saturday and just peruse the offerings while my kids talk to the birds or play on the playground. We bought several trees from Lynn. A couple months later two of the trees were doing poorly. Neither myself nor my husband knew how to save them. We called Lynn up and she spend a lot of time trying to find a solution. We sent pictures and everything. She even followed up days later. We are thoroughly impressed with their customer service, and the trees are coming back!

Visited Riverbend over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised at the variety of plants and flowers, the property was beautiful, and the setup easy to navigate and shop. I was impressed with Missy and the cashier (didnt catch her name) both were nice and helpful. The only tiny issue was finding a cart to put my flowers in while I shopped.. I will for sure be back..and cant wait to bring my daughter when she visits.

I love this place! They have a wonderful variety of plants to create beautiful and unique gardens and pots. The staff is helpful and always willing to share their expertise. The quality is unbeatable since almost everything is grown on the property, and it definitely shows in the way the plants thrive after bringing them home.

Great knowledgable staff willing to spend time with you, teach, and answer questions. Wonderful experience and will be a lifelong customer. From shopping with Lynn and Caroline, to delivery from Sean and Juan, everyone was fantastic.

I recommend everyone I know to visit Riverbend when they are thinking of purchasing plants. The selection at Riverbend is exceptional and I really love the people who work there. Additionally, Riverbend is MUCH less expensive than similar stores 10 miles north. I recently purchased 50 boxwoods for a hedge around my house and the quoted price at a different nursery was 2.5 times more than Riverbend! You wont be disappointed.

I prefer to offer positive reviews, but my experience with Riverbend Nurseries has not been a good one. We recently moved to the area from Indiana, where my wife was a master gardener and our gardens were selected for the show garden tour of the city. We recently purchased several hundred dollars of plants from Riverbend Nurseries to start our new gardens here in Franklin, TN, and all but one of the plants have done well. One plant, a guara lindheimeri, was not doing well about a week after we purchased it, and it died. This was puzzling since we have grown guara successfully over the years.Riverbend will not replace recently purchased plants that die. This is their policy (which is their right, although I think it shortsighted), but they should make that clear somewhere. We have always used private nurseries in the past to support their work. I have never had one refuse to replace a plant that dies quickly like this guara (fortunately we have not had many new plants die over the years, and my wife is exceptional in nurturing plants successfully).If the replacement policy was the only issue, I would probably return to Riverbend. However, two other issues have occurred. First, when the plant showed problems I contacted Riverbend using their website contact link. I never heard back from them. Also, I have not found most of the people there in retail sale to be particularly knowledgeable. For example, today when we stopped by Riverbend to inquire about replacing the gaura, I also asked whether they carried pentas. The response was what is a penta?. The previous visit I had asked about another common flower and got the same clueless response from a different employee.I hope this information is useful to Riverbend. I would like to see private nurseries be successful, but customer service with knowledgeable employees has to be foremost in the business.
