Rob and his Wife are very welcoming and did a great job sharpening my boyfriends dull field knives. They are still shaving sharp many days later after a lot of hard use. If you need your knives sharpened, Rob will straighten you out and take care of your edge for an excellent price!

Wow! I found everything I was looking for here, from sourdough starter to really great kitchen gadgets to parchment paper and some cut little do-hickeys I never knew I had to have. 😁 The family that runs the place is very helpful, charming, kind and very hospitable. Had a great time in here.

I think they really do have everything but the kitchen sink. But theres probably some in the back that I didnt get to.

I love this store!! I knew it before the new owners came and it was great then. Now that the new owners have come it is fabulous!! They have redone the displays and made it easier to navigate through the store. It is packed full on gadgets not found in the big box stores, and the best lines of cookware/small kitchen appliances. I know they have the best collection of cookie cutters in Western NC!! Thanks Franklin ( and new owners, Brooke & Rob) for continuing to provide us with a great kitchen store!!!

We in Franklin are indeed fortunate to have a Main Street store with such a broad variety of quality merchandise at competitive prices. More so, we can find parking a few steps away, go inside, enjoy excellent service, and get home to use the new tool in a matter of minutes without waiting two days or more for shipping. Stores like the Kitchen Sink are disappearing and Im thankful we still have such an outlet in our town.

When I heard that our old Main St. kitchen store “The Kitchen Gourmet” was for sale, I was heartbroken. I hated to hear that such a staple of our downtown was leaving.I am thrilled, however, that the new owners kept the kitchen store, and if anything, improved on it.They are friendly, kind, helpful people, who have quickly become a fixture among our downtown merchants.The products they sell are of the highest quality, and they carry anything you might need for the kitchen/cooking.Awesome shop.

They made me incredibly comfortable when I asked a million questions and they even helped me walk my new Le Creuset in a nicely wrapped box to my car (I didnt even ask but they wanted to make sure I got it home safely)...who does that, Besides the nicest people who truly care about the community and customers. What great store, an asset to Franklin and downtown. Quality products always. I love the owners they are always beyond helpful and always have whatever (so far) item I am looking for - and sometimes it is something unusual, like a wooden muddler for making Mojitos they even gave me the fresh mint. Support our local small businesses ! I suppose Anyone who doesnt like this store should stick with the small mart.

Went in there for my first time and was actually liking the place until I found this dog wine holder which they had labeled for $36.00 so I then went onto amazon to see the price comparison and the first thing that pulled up was the same exact dog wine holder for $22.00 so this place is definitely over priced and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
