I used the pick-up service at this store for the first time this week. I was pleasantly surprised to find that placing an order was incredibly easy. I was also delighted to find that everyone I talked to at the store about placing an order was very courteous and helpful. They were very patient with every single one of my questions. They brought out my order very quickly, and I was very grateful not to have to walk around that big store with an injured foot. Many thanks to all of the kind people there!

It was very clean and organized . Prices are going up but thats everwhere. Frozen dinners looked scare but i grabbed a cooked chicken. Thanks

I have shopped at the Franklin, MA Stop & Shop since moving to Franklin in 1994. A few months ago I was in Milford and did my grocery shopping at the Stop & Shop there. No comparison.. more stock, fresh fish and great meat department.. the vegetables and fruits are well stocked and fresh. I drive to Milford now.. you have lost a very loyal, long time customer.. Another thing .. they still supply plastic bags.. the paper bags at the Franklin store are ridiculous and hard to handle.. no handles to carry groceries… what are you guys thinking?? Go back to plastic!!!

Wish they had the hot soup like before but they still had good pre-made sandwiches 🥪

I have purchased items twice from this store that I brought home and opened to find out that they were moldy. Another time I got a rotisserie chicken to come home to a very dry chicken. And I wanted a pie crust to make a quiche but all the pie crusts were cracked and broken. This is an every trip to the store reality. To top all of this is how everything in the store is over priced. It’s so very disappointing.

I feel like I’m disowning a family member. But the reality is, that Stop and Shop as a whole, has lost its integrity. This particular shop which I frequent is no exception. Where do I start!

Showed up at 8:02 and no one in the meat or the seafood dept could grab 2 lobsters for me. I don’t see it posted on the website that those depts close at 8 but 8:02 and I couldn’t get help?!? Really?!? Go to Big Y!

Prices are a bit higher than other grocery chains, however its a very convenient location being right off of 495.

Quick in and out shopping! Most of the time very organized and clean. Id much rather go here and pay a little more than to save a couple bucks and have to go into market basket hell!

Shout out to Hayley (I know I get sure spelled it wrong I’m sorry) who worked check out number 9, around 215 pm on July 10. I was in her line and was approached by another customer whom made me feel uncomfortable and when I got to my turn she apologized for the situation and explained she was trying to scan quickly to move the person in front of me along so that could get out. She was very discrete and efficient about the entire situation. I can’t thank her enough for how she handled that. I’d like to think the company could reward her for her outstanding abilities as a customer service check out worker. And I have worked for this company before and she’s worth more then the 5$ GC to stop and shop that they hand out. Thank you again Hayley (sorry about the spelling) for making me feel safe in a moment that made my stomach go in knots.

Love this big, bright store and their awesome selection of produce and foods.

They have implemented new computer hardware at the self checkout and it is very confusing for customers. Myself and another customer had to ask for help several times and the clerk said everyone is confused by the new program.

Good selection. Lots of Quorn and Morning Star and the like for the vegetarian. Large produce section, typically not overly crowded. They do have live lobsters which Im very against, especially considering Ive seen at least one dead one in there at one point...poor things live forever essentially if you leave them alone. The robot thing is cool too. Kind of a viscous task master...but I like him. Only a slight chance of the robot becoming self aware and taking over the store.

They recently remodeled this store. Theyve expanded their curbside pickup program a lot. I especially like the wider isles and the expanded Gluten-Free section. It also feels that theyve somehow added shelving space. Its also a lot brighter and cleaner than its ever been.

Stop and Shop has a great store in Franklin. Clean. Well managed. Well stocked. They seem to have everything. Their prices seem to be a bit more reasonable than a few years ago.

I went in for a covid shot the pharmacist Mira was great.. and still I shopped. I can always find everything I need at stop &Shop

Clean and good selection. Nicer than market basket and not as stuck up as a Whole Foods.

People are helpful but I wish they could have more Arabic or Middle Eastern food section. Hoping for Halal meat to be sold at stop and shop one day.

Pricey, but the selection of both regular food items & precooked meals are SO worth it! Cheaper to make your own steak meals from stuff here than pay for one at Lowrys the Prime Rib.(Unless you cant cook. I cant help you there. But in their no-prep items, you CAN cut back the time & get crazy-good instructions on finishing up...😁)

Why are there so many empty shelves lately??

Deli closes whenever they feel like it so if you work late you can get thick cheese or nothing. Store closes at 11. It’s 9:15. They should list on the website no departments are open

1 cashier working with 4 full carts in line, no bagger and only one of the 10 self checkouts is open with 5 people waiting. Plus I had a gift card that had to be done by a cashier I assume but no one was working in the self checkout area to ask. I have been going to stop and shop for years but it just keeps getting worse and may have to go elsewhere

Good selection of items. Ok prices with your stop and shop card. Deli meats are great, boars head is my favorite and i often go to stop and shop just because they carry boars head honey maple turkery. Their rolls from the bakery are good too. Basically the same as every other grocery store. Most of them use the same company for frozen rolls. The self check out makes checking out with few items quick so you dont need to wait in line behind ppl with full carriages.

Meat manager is very rude

Its stop and shop....what else do you want? LolGood parking and many other stores nearby so you can pretty much do a lot of errands in one go!

Always clean and personable employees. Very helpful always looking to help you find the thing that youre looking for. . Whenever you have an item is on a free thing. They always have it. You never have to go without or get a rain check. I appreciate this as I shop for a living and really dont have the time to keep going in and out of stores. It truly is a choice to go to a store that really cares about its customers.

Fresh produce, good meat selections. They just rearranged the store layout, so finding some items can be challenging.

Clean and usually well stocked. (Not too sure of what’s going on these days though). Pretty friendly staff aside from “Cindy” in the Deli (Much much older lady). She has no patience whatsoever. And apparently gets upset with customers when she doesn’t pay attention and gets orders wrong. She is literally the ONLY employee I’ve ever encountered in this Stop and Shop who made my visit not worth 5 stars. Aside from her though, this is one of the best Stop and Shop’s I’ve ever visited. 3 Stars because of my interaction with Cindy.

This store is great. It has great produce and a lot of variety. The staff is friendly and helpful. My favorite thing about this place was the pharmacy. The pharmacist was very personable and kind. There were pharmacies in walking distance, but it was worth the travel for the great service.

They Organic section is GONE!! All my products I shopped for are placed throughout the ENTIRE store!!! Whats up? Why? Cant think of Any Good Reason!! If you know of one Id like to know!!

Stop and Shop in Franklin is always easy to get in and out. I can always find what Im looking for and a great selection to choose from. I feel like they are more affordable than Shaws or Big Y most of the time and their store brand line tastes really good, too! They just did a little revamp of the checkout area too which has helped the lines a lot!

Franklin S&S is the best one around with large produce and natural sections and friendly staff. The gas points program really helps cut costs for fueling up the truck. We do our weekly shopping here.

Nice store. Produce selection isnt always that great and its laid out strange, a lot over a large section. Also its dark and I dont think they always have the freshest fruits and vegetables. Three freezer aisles in the middle is different too. Parking lot is huge but usually full from the others stores as well and sometimes getting out can be a pain.

The store itself is very clean and organized. I would have given good review on that alone however the customer service person working there absolutely ruined it for me. I used self check out and realized that some stuff rang up wrong, not a big deal I just cashed out and went to the service desk. After explaining what happened the customer service rep said it was a mistake on the tag. I was fine with returning the items and even recommended they remove the tag so others didnt have the same confusion. After basically leaving me to think he wasnt even going to let me return the items I asked if there was a Manager. My mistake I guess cause he got annoyed and said Im going to give it to you anyway turned and muttered cheapass. Really didnt even know what to say to that. Never had an experience like that in my life.

As you enter the store, a load speaker announcement is speaking about the precautions including the use of facial masks. However, in the store all females were covered while a great many of the males working there cant seem to figure out that they breath thru their noses. Face masks were used as chin straps, mouth coverings and in some cases not at all. It was very uncomfortable shopping there, think I will go to BigY.

I really like this store. Always a great selection and found great deals today.

Large store with ample selections. They carry gluten free products, flowers, beauty products and gave a Starbucks inside near produce. Lots of parking but it gets busy midday.

Fresh, local produce. Convenient location. In a mall with other useful stores and restaurants. Plenty of parking.

Average super-market. Often has good sales on meats. Prepared items are half off if not purchased in the first day. 4.99 rotisserie chicken all week.

Standard Stop & Shop. Clean (Marty the robot does a good job). Small Starbucks inside. Theres a light to get in/out of the plaza lot.

Need more help. When a self service calls for help it takes a half HR to come..or need more customer service skills.

Well laid out inventory. Easy of access. Very friendly staff. A+

I worked here for 5 years. Not too bad of a place. The stuff is moderately expensive, more than Market Basket but less than Shaws. Theres a pretty good variety of food, organics, and household goods. The bathrooms are usually moderately clean. I can attest that some of the staff is not so great, but Ive seen many bad ones come and go in my time. Weve tried our best, and I think we usually deliver well.

The Butcher Shop Cuts up the meat the way you wanted and does not take long

I do my grocery shopping at this store. The prices are good for the quality of vegetables and othe fresh foods I buy here. I recommend for those who want fresh and crunchy vegetables and fruits.

Great place for a large selection of grocery items. Some things are a little pricey and can be found cheaper at other stores. Long hours makes it a plus!

This is the only local store where I can get my fix of Lebanon Bologna. Now if they only had the Sweet Lebanon Bologna Id be in heaven.

Great service when I couldnt find the milk I wanted and asked for it while I was about to pay one team member went back and got it for me. Thats what I call going above and beyond. Great customer service.

I have been trying to get a money order from her for the past 4 days to pay my rent. I have been constantly lied to about the hours of operation for the money order. I have been told that it closes at 9PM, 8PM or opens at 8PM just to show up and be told that it is. It open and I cannot get my money order.I have obtained a money order at those various times prior to this month and I have the paystubs to prove it. It really is frustrating that I cannot get my rent to my landlord because he does not accept personal check (that’s his issue not Stop & Shops) but I still need to pay my rent. Like I really like going to stop and shop because of the convenience; but it looks like my money is better spent somewhere else.

Prices are not so great to make up for the very poor customer service. Associates can be rude and Ive never had one go beyond whats required. Why spend so much here when you can go up the road one exit to a much cheaper grocery store?

Very rude lady rung me out accused me of changing prices on apples. Had a gift certificate for $25 the only reason I went. Reminded why I shop at Big Y in Franklin they are awesome!!

One of the nicest grocery stores I have ever been in. Seemed well managed as well.

Very few decaf K cups stocked, very disappointed. Pre-sliced deli, too large a quantity, not everyone needs large quantities. They bring in product, then discontinue on regular basis. Finally upgraded chilled sections with doors, but are always missing a door. LITER SODA BOTTLES STOCKED ON TOP SHELF - VERY DANGEROUS. LOBSTA ROLLS SWIMMING IN MAYO, HAM SALAD WICKED SALTY, EGG SALAD IS MOOSH! Not everyone wants sandwiches on Sub Rolls!!! They used to make Finger Sandwiches which they no longer do.

What is your time worth. After I shop this store. I have to ring up my groceries at the you check it out line. My guess is no one gets through this with out beep beep. Then the employee comes over to spend time fixing or entering the correct sku number. Maybe have classes!?We do this because they have two registers open. Then I bag it. Love this store, have been going there since it first opened. Management must be doing a good job, employee retention is high. My BIG problem is with corporate. First they get rid of cashiers by putting in self check out then make it worse by using self scanners now they have those stupid bad carousel that have the cashiers bagging as well as ringing and it makes it difficult when you bring your own bags. This eliminates those baggers, some of them were there for years .

I was impressed at the sales and the employees were very helpful when I asked questions about a special sale

Amazing staff and great layout of products.

The stupid new robot bumped into me and I spilled all of my beans! It then proceeded to knock over each one of my children and they completely ate it! The darn robot also said to me give me your money or pay the consequences. Thats a kind of weird joke but utterly unnaceptable!!!
