Working with Rick Lane was awesome! He answered any questions I had and explained everything in ways that made sense. It made the fitting process enjoyable for sure! It took just over 2 months for my clubs to finally come in, but Rick was able to keep me updated through email as I awaited my clubs’ arrival. Finally got them last week and it was definitely worth the wait AND the price! Definitely recommend going here if you’re getting serious about your game!

My opinion: From a 14 handicap golfer. First the fitting experience is fine and I think does have value. I like the clubs I settled on and wanted to purchase. Then I got the price and realized something important. When they test shafts with you, they don’t have you test the stock shaft for a club head so you don’t have that as a comparison. This is an issue because the club head price you will be quoted is with a stock shaft. In other words, you’re paying for 2 shafts for one club and you’ll never see the stock one. In my case I took their report, got a quote somewhere else and bought the irons with the stock shaft. If it doesn’t work out I can still buy the shafts they recommend and bring them to someone else to put together and still save money. The shafts they wanted to sell me were $90 each. I found on line for $55. The grips they priced were $10, I found on line for $6. When it’s all said and done they priced each club at $320. I’m buying somewhere else with different shaft for $150 each. If I have to change shafts, it will cost about $70 per club making each iron cost $220. Still a $100 savings. Really makes you question their pricing policies.Go ahead and do a fitting, but my guess is once you settle on club head, you’ll spend half as much if you buy elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and do research. Also insist on hitting the stock shaft for the club head you choose.They also wanted to “pure” my irons for $30 a club. This might be a good service for woods, but irons? Ask a pro you trust what they think about this value. It’s illuminating.

I got a fitting from Brett about a month or two ago. I feel like he did the fitting well. He explained through things and what all of the numbers meant and where I should be. Before the fitting started, I specified that I would not be buying the clubs from club champion and from then on, it seemed like everything I asked was met with a short, almost rude remark. Everything he would say was in that same time. It felt like he was aggravated throughout the entire fitting. I was asked if I was still planning on buying through our club pro and was bombarded with questions about why I was going through him and what kind of discount I was getting. Overall I felt like I got the right options for clubs but the experience was not kind.

Pretty disappointed with my experience here. I’ve had friends and family that really enjoyed it, however, I can’t say the same. The communication on their end was poor and not all my clubs were delivered, not to mention they were almost a month late from the original timeline that they gave me. The workers here don’t seem to have much care for the customer at all, and with the amount of money I spent I expect much better service.

The experience with Rick at the Nashville store was better than I could have anticipated. The fitting process was thorough and methodical as I expected, but when I wasnt hitting the ball well, Rick let me work through the troubles I was having until I found my swing. After that, the numbers got better and better and more dialed-in, and he found shaft and head combos that felt amazing to swing AND greatly improved distance and dispersion - all the way through the bag. I cant wait to get my clubs, and Id recommend a fitting with Rick to anyone.

Worked with Jason, one of the worst experiences Ive had when it comes to club fitting. From the get go, it felt like he was rushing the fitting to get done as quick as possible, which it did as I was out of the door within 45 minutes of starting when I signed up for an hour and a half iron fitting. He did not explain anything to me throughout such as why this shaft or clubhead is doing better than mine or any of the others we tried in that short time. I felt like I wasnt given many options and he wanted me to purchase a $1,500 set without giving me any details of why this should outperform my previous set. Every question I tried to ask was met with a very short, almost rude remark. I would love to try this again with someone else at Club Champion because Ive read great reviews but Im now out $150 from the fitting fee while not learning or coming away with one helpful thing.

I went for an iron fitting this weekend and Rick made it a great experience. I’m not a “scientific” golf my and means but he clearly explained to me the process. I’m excited to get out and try the new irons and will look to come back and get my woods fitted soon!

This was my first club fitting experience (putter only) and it could not have been better. It seems this location is currently open by appointment only and I was required to wash my hands upon entering. Masks are required, obviously. So to start, the fitting felt very safe. Rick clearly knows his stuff. I am new golfer and Rick was able to help me understand the various attributes of my current putter, the tendencies in my putting stroke, and what we could pursue in a club to help improve my putting overall. The technology used to analyze your stroke is pretty cool and extremely detailed. Very quickly, Rick was able to dial in a setup that felt amazing. Once we were in the ballpark, we tweaked the shaft length slightly and then tried a couple different head shapes to dial in the feel and, of course, the look of the putter. Initially I was anxious about doing a fitting as a novice golfer but this was a fantastic experience. Dont hesitate if youre thinking about it!

You might need a full set, you might need minor loft adjustments to your current club. Whatever you need, they’ll ensure that you will have the right clubs for your game. All you’ll have to focus on if you are an amateur like I am, is your mechanics from then on out, knowing that your irons are exclusively made for you. Rick Lane is the man, I will definitely be back in a month or so for a wedge fitting. I had a budget, he made sure I was able to get everything I needed while keeping me around my budget with the best irons and adjustments recommended.

Went for a hybrid fitting. The fitter was knowledgeable but tried to fit me in something I was not in the market for He told me after 30 mins he couldn’t help me. I told him I was looking for a hybrid not a fairway. So he rushed to fit me then wanted to sell me a club for 500$ that I could buy for 219 off the shelf and hit it just as well because I had already tested it. Will not go back to this group. Buyer beware

This was my first fitting at Club Champion. I was expecting to get the best fitting of my life and I was not disappointed. When I arrived Eric met me at the door and in just a few minutes made me feel very welcome and at ease. I have been playing golf for for nearly 50 years and at 64 have always found it difficult to find clubs that fit me. I felt that Eric was genuinely interested in helping me find the best clubs for my swing. I had the entire bag fitting and this was the first time I have ever been fitted by swinging different shaft and head combinations using trackman. Eventually we found the right shaft and head for a new Driver, irons and wedges. I was given the specs and there was absolutely no pressure to buy the clubs there. However I decided to have them build my new clubs and now I now have a Driver that I am hitting with more accuracy and at least 20 yards longer with less effort. After playing a few rounds with my new irons I took them back to Club Champion for a little tweaking and Eric was able to make the changes right there on the spot while I waited. Not only am I now hitting my new irons and wedges longer, the accuracy and height of my shots have improved dramatically over my old set. I highly recommend Eric and Club Champion to anyone who wants to find the best equipment available for their own unique swing.

First and foremost I want to thank Brett, my club fitter, for the amazing results I received. I gained 16 yards of carry on average on my 6 iron. The dispersion of the shots were grouped together very well. Brett was extremely knowledgeable about everything he handed me to hit. Going to love seeing the shot totals come down on average the rest of the year!

This was my first time with Club Champion. Set up a driver fitting with Eric in New Years Eve. He was incredibly knowledgeable and made something that could be complicated easy to understand. He did not pressure me into buying anything (even though I did buy!) and seemed genuinely interested in finding the right fit over making a sale. When I need more clubs, I will drive from Knoxville to Nashville to work with Eric and Club Champion again!

Full bag Club Champion fitting today. I cannot be more pleased. They did not try to push new iron heads on me. The numbers proved that my 716 MB’s were perfectly fine. They managed to gain me 15 yards with an optimal shaft. I can’t be happier. My sm6’s are staving too. So are the x100’s I like to play in my wedges. Club Champion Nashville is the real deal. Worth every penny.

I shaved 10 strokes off my game and added 20 yards of they tee just by getting the right fit. Best decision I have made.
