I cannot recommend this place. I took a batch of gold in and watched them melt it. They use their x-ray to do an essay and made me an offer that was over $1,000 less than what I expected. I took these items back and sent them to my normal refinery and received payment in excess of a thousand more and they had offered.

My issue is with the corporation and not necessarily this location. I have been sending my scrap gold to their TX location so that I could order stone removal. Ive been doing this for several years, with stone removal EVERY time, but this time I forgot to mark the box that specified stone removal...my mistake. However, you would think that my representative would have looked out for me and given me a call about the oversight---NOPE! This particular lot had over 2 carats of 20+ point diamonds that they were happy to keep, (in addition to the melee that was in the batch.)I will be sending my scrap gold to Geib Refinery from now on. Elemetal got too big for their britches and its clear they DO NOT HAVE THE INTEREST OF THEIR CUSTOMERS IN MIND AT ALL!!! Shame on you, Elemetal...the stones that I collect throughout the year are what pays for my employees Christmas bonuses---you took a chunk out of that.
