Great little bowling alley. Everything is well taken care of. Lanes are in good shape and usually well oiled. Staff is pretty friendly. Our go to bowling alley now.

This is a fantastic place to bowl in a small town. The staff are super friendly and eager and aren’t shy about letting you know what discounts are available for any bowling night of your choice. The manager here who runs the show has excellent people skills, everyone knows him, he gets along with everybody. I don’t know a single patron who doesn’t like him.For a long time I have argued that their sports bar has the best pizza offered in an establishment like this.

Awful, the discrminate against people with disabilities that prevent mask wearing. Even though there are exemptions. This place refuses to honor them. They will kick you out an refuse refunds. This used to be a great place. But after they attempted to force my son with a exemption who is also under 7 to wear a mask we left. So if you are exempt and want to be harrassed and discriminated against. This is the place for you.

I bring my family here almost every week! We love bowling. Typical bowling alley with an arcade and food counter. They have cosmic bowling on the weekends which is fun. New age music jukebox you can pay to play good music.Watch out for teenagers in the parking lot though. This bowling alley is located in a college town and the last time we went there a bunch of teenagers were throwing/kicking things in the parking lot and hit my car as I was leaving. I rolled down my window to tell them they just hit my car and they starting mouthing off things that werent apologies lol.Update: I would not suggest coming here during covid times. Just had my Nieces sweet 16th birthday party at this bowling center where they were constantly harassing everyone about masks over the speakers, telling everyone they will be kicked out with no refunds for games purchased every 10-15 minutes. I even noticed them sending personalized (using peoples names from the bowling list) typed out messages on the bowling screens/TVs publicly calling people out even if they were wearing masks but not in the right way. My Niece was pretty upset seeing how it was annoying and that if she wouldve known they were going to do that she wouldnt have had her party there. She suffers with asthma which is triggered by physical exertion like bowling. We obviously know we are taking risks going out in public during a pandemic. If they are that worried about covid they should go back to when they first opened back up and only use every other lane and taking everyones temperature like they used to. This place was so packed they didnt even have my daughters shoe rental size she had to get 2 sizes too big!!! So Im sure they were above max on people allowed in the building at one time as well.

Was there today for a little friends birthday party. Pizza is excellent. Staff was friendly. And my little one is anxious to go back again. She loved the dinosaur ball guides and I loved how easy the computers were to set up. Great time had by all. The birthday child even gets a bowling pin for everyone to sign and take home.
This place is amazing. I go every Wednesday and they have bowling for 2 hours (9-11) every week. Its only 7$ even and it even includes shoes. The food there is alright, but sometimes the people working the food/bar can be rude. Other than that this place is great. Would definitely recommend.

Our family of six came in on a Sunday to bowl to be turned away. 4 lanes were rented out for a birthday party and no one else could be in there for two hours. There was no post online or on the door. We all wanted to eat and have drinks plus tip very well. You missed out on at least 200$+🙃 Columbus bowling here we come🎳

It is a great place to bowl. Except when we said we were doing it for 2 hours. We had 1 more round till we finished, but because are 2 hours were up we could not finish. They had people bowling on every lane, and it was very crowded.

Fun for all ages - we had a great time with our preschool aged child. They have the Dino ramps available and gutter bumpers so the kids can play along. We played one game with 4 adults and one kid and it took about an hour and it was plenty for us. Food was good for what can be expected at a bowling alley.

My mother and brother with autism were screamed at by the owner after my mother asked for the foul line to be turned off. And the person at the counter was extremely rude to her and ignored her requests. My brother goes bowling every single Wednesday and it’s a important part of his routine. The foul line on the lane he was using was on and my mother went up to the counter to ask for help. She was met with rudeness and the person at the counter didn’t make any attempt to fix the problem or move them to a different lane. After the game, she went up to the counter again to seek more help and the person at the counter completely ignored her. Then she spoke with the owner, who screamed at her while she was crying. I will be warning everyone I know about how terrible this place is!

Went for cosmic bowling and it was our first time bowling there. Had a little one and requested bumpers, but we all didn’t want them. The young man and young woman who helped us took the time to show us how the lanes work. They automatically go up and down depending on the bowler which is a great feature!!!. Will def go again soon.
Fun and they have food and drinks
Our kids love bowling so we are always looking for places to take them. This place usually has pretty good deals going on. Food price are reasonable and taste good. The only complaint is there is not a lot of bowling ball choices. Its hard to find a ball that is a good weight or that fits your fingers. Staff is very helpful and good with children. So all in all its a great place to go and have some family fun.

If you love to bowl, youll love bowling at Hi-Way lanes. The food is great. The drinks are great, but the Chicken Fajita Nachos is the bomb. Oh yeah, the bowling is fantastic. The lanes are well oiled. They have computerized lanes with large sized video screens to see your scores and watch a sports game while you bowl. The pro shop will help you with whatever you need. A1

Awesome bowling alley!Updated lanes and screens. Best feature is bumper guards go up and down individually with the bowler if needed. You can also play different types of games that are kid related.It’s also an inexpensive 1 or 2 hours of fun.Will be back to this bowling alley out of all the area ones :)

It isnt a top of the mill place in terms of the latest and greatest this and that, some lanes are a bit more trouble than others, however, the place is run by some wonderful people. Ive been so delighted to see their willingness to forgive lane troubles, to be welcoming and to make it a joy to be there. Theyve shown to me numerous times a commitment to make it a pleasant experience that youll want to return to. I will continue to come back and enjoy my time there. Thank you

Whad a great time. Bowled a couple games with family and it was fun. Lanes were in great shape and the scoring video is impressive. Even keeps track of how fast the ball was rolled. Way cool. Wonderful, friendly service. Definitely will go back.

Not what it was a few years ago. More like a bar than a bowling alley. Visits are fun but sometimes certain teams in some leagues are more competitive, arrogant, and disrespectful to newer bowling teams. It I were the management, I would at least enforce the ordinance about smokers needing to smoke at least 10 feet from the entrances and exits. I would also figure out a maximum and minimum volume for the jukebox. I bowled there for years and feel that the alley should just as clean and well-lit during nightly leagues than during the days and on weekends. Its not too late to optimize the Hi-Way lanes experience to what it was just a few years ago. In its own way this could help the local Franklin economy to continue its burgeoning growth and improvements.
We reserved lanes for a large family party and everything went really well. They recently renovated the building with new flooring and lane systems. I really like how everything turned out. They always have nice and helpful employees who assist without hesitation or complaint.
Great time bowling with friends and little ones! We had a very good experience here on a busy Friday night. The staff was very friendly and helpful with working out the best deal for our family and friends to save money with the coupons I brought. Service all around was quick, friendly, and helpful. The place was very clean and the equipment newly updated. Bowling has come a long way since the paper and pencil score card days, haha. It was still easy to add players, you can now add bumpers for specific players and they go up and down automatically, you can select the type of game you want to play, the type of characters on screen as well as easily correct scoring/bowling mistakes. Overall, we had a great time and we will return to play again. There were just 2 reasons I didnt give 5 stars. First, the music was too loud for us, especially our little ones. However, I would assume this was due to it being Friday night and we will definitely try a different time of day when returning with the kids. Second, it was also a bit pricey for our family; it would have been over $40 for our family of 4 without a coupon. Unfortunately, thats not something we can afford very often. Well keep a lookout for coupons and deals and definitely come back since we did have such a great time. It was a fun family activity and we made some good memories.

This place is awesome! We happened to show up right after a power outage and the lanes were not up yet, the owner was super apologetic and gave us vouchers for 3 free games each! We went to lunch and called back to see if they were up and running yet and they were. We went back and we werent charged for the shoes and got an extra game for free! The owner and the staff are super friendly and went above and beyond expectations! Our family will definitely be going back!
I bowl here on a regular basis and find the facility to be well cared for. The concessions are a bit pricey, but thats to be expected. The lane conditions are also top notch, which avid bowlers will certainly appreciate.
The regular bowling was fun but the cosmic was just some flashing lights that’s about it. My pretzel was harder then a sledgehammer and burnt to a crisp. The lady working behind the food counter was very rude and cursing with small children near

Came to highway lanes tonight with my cousin under the impression that we would get 25 cent games and a buy one get one free pizza like the website had stated however the website gave no indication that holidays would affect this but we were informed by a very rude and unapproachable employee named Chuck that games would be $3.95 each shoes would be 4$ the buy one get one free pizza did not exist and at the most for a small cheese pizza would be 13$ so what should have been a 20$ night turned into a 45$ night that was almost unenjoyable due to the fact of rude service from this employee and the fact that my wallet is almost now empty and after playing the two games that we were overcharged for we went to get pool equipment and were rudly informed that there would be no last call and that when time was up he would come in and tell us to pay and leave however in neglecting the fact that you had to pay after your first game leading us to double pay and waste time that could have been used playing the game all because of a rude and unprofessional establishment member. Who we heard as we were leaving telling a teenage employee to go tell a room full of drunk paying patrons to go tell then that playtime was over and if they said no to respond with yes it is and for them to leave without even letting them finish their last game that they paid for.
I have been here a handful of times and each and ever time I have had an enjoyable experience. Very family oriented and fun atmosphere. The food at the sports bar is excellent and they prepare it safely and properly with no fear of getting sick form it. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for some fun!

Just went today with my two girls, ages 9 and 11. This is an awesome place with a real family vibe going on, but also had lots of younger people on dates (high school, college, etc.). Extremely friendly staff. They also have a pool room with four tables, and I have to agree that their pub food is super seriously good. Couldnt recommend this place enough, drove 30 minutes to check it out, will definitely be returning quite a bit!

We had our sons birthday party at Hi-Way Lanes this year. It was a very good value and the kids had a great time. I was even able to bring in homemade cake and ice cream to go along with the provided pizza and pop. The staff was very patient with our group of kids--including dealing with several shoe size exchanges and a ball that got stuck partway down the lane. They often have specials and participate in the Kids Bowl Free program every summer.

We had a work party at this bowling alley on a Sunday after work. We had approximately 15 people and had a terrible experience. They shut off one of our lanes halfway through our second game claiming we had too many people playing on one lane (there were 7 people). We had already played a full game and were halfway through the game when they shut it off without warning. They refused to restart the game for us even though we had made reservations and they were previously aware of how many people we had bowling. They also yelled at us over the overcom about having drinks in the sitting area, but they had no signs posted about where drinks were allowed. We were not obnoxious or overly loud and they treated us as we were the loudest and rudest customers they had seen. Eden was the worker, and she glared at us the entire time we were bowling. I will never use this alley again and Im very disappointed with how we were treated. Do not go here unless you want to have a bad experience.
Very clean. Very nice bowling alley. Nice pro shop. Food is excellent especially when compared to royal pin centers. Not a corporation just a small town bowling alley. Only complaint is the jukebox is ridiculously loud sometimes and seems to only play nor family friendly horrible rap music or God awful country. If theyd just turn it down to where your ears didnt bleed it would be much better. Makes for a big distraction during league play but all in all a good place.

Fantastic pizza
So nice fairly newly renovated bowling alley. Its pretty loud and the food wasnt great. We used a Groupon but if we hadnt Ive got to say that this place is extremely expensive because it cost my friend almost $40 for two people to bowl 3 games. The place is nice so I cant say anything but positive things about the lanes and the people but just make sure that you get a deal before you go otherwise you may want to go somewhere else because of the price

I rarely give poor reviews anywhere, but have had 3 poor experiences at hi way lanes in the last month. We will not be returning. 1- we were told completely wrong information about cosmic bowling. 2- were treated very rudely on another visit when someone needed to switch shoe sizes. 3- once again told completely wrong info. Was told that Sundays are open bowling and no reservations required- and checked online to confirm. Went to bowl (had family meeting there from quite a distance away)...just to be turned away because of an event later in the day. Tons of open lanes available. Went back by 1.5 hours later- still not busy. Extremely disappointed and will not return. This use to be our favorite alley to go to..sad how much it has changed.
HiWay lanes has a really fun atmosphere. The crew there is fun & friendly. The place is very clean. Really good prices. Only complaint I have is the food, it wasnt anything special but no biggie.

A great establishment and a hidden gem in Franklin! The bowling alley is always clean, the staff is courteous and the prices are great! It is a real treat that Franklin has such a nice place to go to!
