The staff was very friendly and happy to help me explore more on what kind of bike I want. Unfortunately, supply shortages hit everywhere and so I have to go to another location to look at more mountain bikes. But Im very thankful for the information I was given, and I’ll happily drive and go to another location. Its nice to get help even though Im not able to get something right this moment.

Great experience! Lots of information and many options to choose from. I love the fact there is a lifetime warranty on the frame. There are many accessories available as well.

Went to Brandon today to get my tires changed. He did the whole job in 15 minutes, and served 3 other customers while he was working! Brandon is extremely knowledgeable about all things “bike”, not to mention professional and funny. I drive over an hour from home to deal with Brandon, rather than deal with my local bike shop. He’s that good!

The staff wasnt exactly friendly.

Been a couple of times. Service Staff at the Franklin location tend to get very short with you and do not have the best attitude when asking questions and generally having a good time talking about bikes. Maybe a bad day but was enough for me not to go back to that location. Never had an issue with the Indy South location. Do to the mixed experience I will give a three star.

I always get great service from the Franklin store. Brandon, Larry, Freddie, and the rest of the staff there are always friendly and helpful.The service is awesome and quick. Its always a pleasure going to this bike shop.

Larry is an amazing guy! Super friendly and helpful. I bought a new Felt bike in March, from Larry. I paid a lot of money for it and only rode 3 times with it breaking 2 of the 3 times. They have had it for 3 week, then called to say it was fixed. When I showed up to get it, it was in fact not fixed! Theyve had it now going on 4 weeks and I havent been able to ride. Pretty well over this shop! Went by this morning and Larry was super helpful and is getting the factory rep involved. A big thank you to Larry! He is your guy to work with....update had a great conversation with Brandon. He apologized for anything he may have said or done to upset anyone. I totally appreciate him being so apologetic and helpful with my bike issues!

I took my flat tire in for repair. A new tube was put in. The next day I had another flat in the same tire! I took took the tire back in. I was told that these things happen. The employee checked for a nail, etc. Finding nothing, he put another tube in my tire. ($16 per tube for a total of $32 at this point) The next day I had yet another flat in the same tire!! Back I went. The third gentleman found a tiny piece of glass in my tire which evidently had punctured all 3 tubes! I was charged another $16! So for $48, I finally have my bicycle tire repaired... I think! (I havent ridden it yet.) I thought I took my bike to the experts. It seems like a shop that specializes in selling and repairing bicycles should be able to find the cause of the flat and repair it the first time! 😕

Great experience at Grey Goat. Needed few BMX tubes & such. Had good ones in stock and at very reasonable prices. Came in 10 min before closing and was not rushed or anything, like you get at some stores. Will be a repeat customer.

These guys are the best. Always helpful and so kind. Im not an experienced cyclist - yet I always feel welcome and they explain things in a way I can understand. Reasonable prices and attentive, kind staff. What more can you ask for?

These guys do a fantastic job. I have had them work on 3 of my bikes both road and mountain. Tune-ups, bottom brackets, brake-bleeds, bearing replacements etc. Very pleased with the work these guys do. Take some time and go ride with them on their weekend group rides. Good shop. Would recommend.

My family has a long history with Gray Goat. They are the best of the best. We have bought every bike our children have had from this shop, and as they grow, we will continue to do so. I am comfortable taking in our bikes for tune ups, knowing they wont try to sell me an unneeded repair.There isnt anything about this shop that we dont like. We love the location. We love the people who know us by name. We love the customer service and support that we get each time we enter the shop.

Great bike shop, the owner clearly knows his trade and was very helpful.We rode in with a few problems while on a bike trip and everything was solved quickly, even though our bike is unlike anything they sell. Thats great when you are a one time customer.Good to see a bike shop like that.

Great bike store! I have purchased two bikes, and have had a new fork, drivetrain, and brakes install. Always a great experience. Brandon and staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and will go out of their way to help you. Always a small group of customers hanging out in the store to talk bikes with, too. Great shop and they are very informative

The Gray Goat is an awesome bicycle shop. Purchased our first roads bike last fall. Being new to cycling we had a lot of questions and the staff has been very helpful and informative. We love our new bikes and the people weve met along the way. Would highly recommend this shop to anyone at any experience level.

I have always had excellent service at the Franklin shop. The staff is accommodating and quick to service my bikes when I need to get back out on the road. I have 2 bikes from this shop and would not trade them or the support for anything. Top quality!

We rolled into Franklin, IN with a failed Velocity AeroHeat wheel rim late on a Friday afternoon, roughly 800 miles into a cross country bike tour. Since it was a possible warranty issue and the wheel was built around a Rohloff Speedhub we had to contact Velocity. To make a long story short, Velocity delivered the new rim and spokes to the Gray Goat Franklin store Tuesday morning just before noon and Brandon Street was on it, lacing spokes and building the new wheel quickly and efficiently. We rolled out of the store 3 hours later with a solid new wheel. Many thanks to Brandon and Gray Goat.

Gray Goats Franklin store is great. They are friendly and helpful, but not pushy. I wasnt sure which bike I wanted and Brandon told me about the differences between models, but didnt make me feel like he was trying to get me to buy one over the other.

Top notch bike shop in the super nice town of Franklin. A second store in addition to their original store on 135 in Greenwood. Get in here now before the word gets out and they get super busy. Honestly Franklin is making big strides in regards to cycling but GG is still a bit ahead of its time. They are a full service cycling shop which primarily sells Specialized brand bikes and equipment. They are also equipped to do full fittings! Great group of employees with tons of knowledge and no pressure help to get you in the right bike you will be happy for many many years!!

Stay away from this place by all means. Recently took my daughters 3 month old bike in for a mandatory safety inspection so that she could participate in an upcoming race.After looking over the bike the mechanic said it need $30 dollars in repairs because the rear brake pad was rubbing and the derailer was shifting into the spokes. The mechanic insinuated that my wife and I werent fit parents for letting our daughter ride this unsafe bike. My wife was taken back a bit and was quite shocked that a new bike needed a quarter of the purchase price in repairs. She left the shop without repairing the bike as she wanted a second opinion. She went up to BGI in Greenwood where one of their mechanics looked it over and for free adjusted the brake pad and stated the derailer was fine and provided paperwork that it was fit to race. The race requires that it is inspected by Gray Goat to receive the inspection sticker so the bike was taken back to Gray Goat where it was inspected again an hour after leaving BGI and again failed this time for the derailer shifting into the spokes and the front brake pad rubbing. Since it had a clean bill of health from another shop we again left without repairing it and contacting the race organizer for guidance. We were told that only Gray Goat can do the inspection. So we decided to have a third mechanic from the Bicycle Shop of Shelbyville look at it. He also stated in writing there were no problems with either the brakes or derailer. BGI also offered to reinspect the bike with a different mechanic after we notified them of Gray Goats second inspection. So we took them up on their offer and now have had 3 mechanics state in writting that the bike is mechanically sound and safe to race. My wife then takes the bike back to Gray Goat and sure enough it fails for brake pads rubbing and it shifting into the spokes. At this point my wife gives in pays the $30 as my daughter was afraid she wasnt going to get to race. We notify the owner who basically says the mechanics from the other shops are incompetent and that we are not concerned for our daughters safety. I just wonder how many other people paid for repairs of fictitious conditions just so their kids bikes got approved.

I bought a mid range road bike at this bike shop last summer, I live in Columbus but wanted a shop that sold and served Specialized so I came to Franklin since that was the closest shop to do so, I ride over 30 Miles a day, i usually stay south and west of Columbus because of the roads are so great to ride but today I decided to ride north, to Franklin, i was 30 + miles into the ride and hit alot of rough spots and my tyres were filling a little mushy so i stopped at this shop that I spent a lot of money at just mnths prior, to to put a little air in my tyres and the owner was talking to a couple employees and working on a bike in a stand, i came in and asked if he could top off my tires, he looked at me with discuss and literally thru a pump at me and said here, you do it, then continued to talk about and show off his new frame to a customer that came in right behind me, i was floored, worse customer service I have ever been involved in, i will never go back to this joke of a bike shop except to TELL them how much they suck!!!
