This place is top notch!!I had a 6 Rough Country lift installed, upper control arms, and wheels & tires (mounted & balanced) with alignment on my 2019 Toyota Tundra.They did everything with no issues, hiccups, ifs-ands-or-buts at all, and they did it within the quoted time-frame.I really appreciate them for making everything a very stress-free and pleasant experience! Exceptional service and attention! Jeff responded to our emergent needs in a professional and serviceable manner. During a drive from Indiana from our sons graduation at Notre Dame, his Chevrolet Camaro received a flat due to road debris. Oh man we had such a great experience here me and my friend brought her converted bus in. There was so many things wrong with the bus. And our Boy Scotty really took care of My friend she was so taken care of and he really went out of his way to help. We needed a patch done on our tire after picking up a screw. We got there 30 minutes before they closed and they patched out tire in about 15 minutes at no charge. I will be coming back to this place for my next set of tires! They earned a future customer.

The engine unfortunately needed a replacement on my Lexus recently. The gateway mechanics worked tirelessly to try and find the exact issue with the engine.I ended up making the decision to scrap my car, and buy a new one, instead of having the engine replaced. The staff at Gateway helped me out a bunch on the labor cost for their work on my engine. I appreciate you all very much for going out of your way to help me save some money, knowing that I would have to scrap my car and get a new one.I will be back in the future to have my new car worked on at Gateway.- Hayden

They did a good job installing the lift kit. A few miscommunications led to an initial negative review. After getting a call from Garth (the GM) we cleared up everything and I am making plans to get future mods installed here.

I cant speak highly enough of Gateway Tire. I was a loyal customer when we lived in Hermitage, TN and Im a loyal customer here in Franklin, TN. Fair prices, honest work. I have no problem sending a female or a senior or someone that is not familiar with cars there and know that they will be treated fairly and with complete honesty. If we ever move again, it better be near a Gateway Tire & Service Center.

I had only heard good things about your company and that was why I had recommended it to my son. Your mechanics may not have fixed the issue, but you have proven yourself to be someone with integrity by taking care of this in such a professional way. Thank you and I pray your business keeps going strong.After someone recommending Gateway, I suggested my son to give it a try. He had his compressor replaced by another repair center and it was still blowing fuses. He took his MKT to Gateway and explained to them what had already been done by a previous repair shop and spending over $800 and how he was still blowing fuses. My husband and son let me know they were not impressed with the attendant that took the information, but was hoping for a positive outcome. After a couple of days they were called and told the car was ready. They went in and was told that they changed the fuse and recharged the AC. My son was furious. He had told the attendant when he dropped the car off that this had already been done twice at another repair shop. So after paying for something that had already been done, my son drove the car down the road and in about 10 minutes, the fuse blew again. He took it bake to Gateway and told them they had not resolved the problem. They assured him they would look into the issue and get back with him. Gateway had the car for about 9 days. Did not give updates on their progress unless we called in and checked. We came to the conclusion this had been put on a back burner and they were not working on the issue. I stopped in one day and spoke with the mechanic. He assured me they were looking into it but had not come to a solution. At that time I told them the water pump was leaking and asked if this could be part of the problem. He assured me it was not causing the fuse to blow, but if I wanted to have the water pump replaced they would be glad to do that. At that time I knew they were not spending any time diagnosing the problem. Within a couple of days they decided they did not know what the problem was and we could pick the car up. After several hundred dollars again, we had a car that was not properly diagnosed and fixed. DO NOT Take your vehicle to Gateway if it is anything other than regular maintenance or tires. They are capable of test driving and running up a tab!. We did find a mechanic in Lafayette that took the time to dissect the issue and found the solution. It was the water pump. It was throwing water into the new compressor and electrical system and causing the fuses to blow. At this point the new compressor was ruined and had to be replace. Which possible could have been prevented if Gateway would have been capable of diagnosing the issue. Gateways lot is full of cars which makes it look reputable, but I would not recommend them for anything other tires and oil changes, and at this point, I wouldnt even recommend them for that.

Every time I have gone there they have gotten to a flat tire immediately. Everyone there is kind and respectful and customer-oriented. Highly recommended!

For anything other than the regular servicing of my car(which I take to the dealer)- I always rely on the Gateway tires @Franklin. The staff is awesome; and the prices of their services and products are fair and affordable; service is super quick. No frills, honest services, reliable place to get your auto work done. I will go there and will do so.And yes, for big ticket purchases- you can avail their financing options!

After seeing the great Google reviews I felt very comfortable bringing my RV to Gateway for service. I brought it in for an oil change and a power steering pump. Thankfully they got it fixed in a timely matter but when I went to pick it up there was a small puddle of PS fluid under the RV in their parking lot. After asking Nick what that was about, he said the tech must have spilled and it should drip out over time. Sure enough, I crawl under and the front subframe is filled with fluid but no leaks elsewhere. Sloppy, but it’ll do for now.200 miles later I smell burning motor oil so I crawl under and find that the oil filter is leaking and snap a pic. I bring it in for warranty and Nick proceeds to tell me that they can’t warranty any leak because I took it somewhere else for an oil change since there’s a different oil filter on the motor. Comparing the part number on my picture with the previous invoice, both part numbers and brands are the same. After confronting Nick about that, he nervously says he’s just repeating what the tech told him but the leak has been fixed now.Reluctantly, I ask them to perform a transmission filter and fluid job as a I have a big road trip coming up. When I went to pick up the RV the service advisor did not know where the keys were and told me to ask a tech. After tracking one down he said they were in the unlocked RV in the gravel lot across the street along with every other RV and bus over there. He joked, “Take your pick. They’re all unlocked with the keys on the floor.” Wow...VERY secure operation guys...2 hours into an 8 hour trip, the transmission is hanging up on gears, sticking in neutral at times, and overall having a hard time shifting all while smelling ATF the whole way there. After pulling over into a service station I find that the breather tube on the transmission is spilling ATF all over the underside of the RV which in turn is getting over the tires and wheels. After checking the dipstick with a local mechanic, we both find that the transmission is dangerously overfilled. I paid to have it siphoned off and found that the transmission was 2 quarts overfilled.After speaking with John, the manager of Gateway, he stated that his techs fill what their computer tells them to and sends them on their way. As a previous technician myself, with unfortunate circumstances where I can’t work on my own vehicles at home, we ALWAYS checked the dipstick before calling a job complete.I won’t be returning to Gateway in the future as it’s always problems whenever I get anything back from them. I understand it’s a busy shop, but the problems I’ve had are inexcusable.

Took my truck to a local place, they inspected it and came back with $4600. Let them know I wanted a second opinion, brought it to Gateway, they found the exact same list of items to repair....... $2700. To be completely fair one of the things the first shop said I needed to do Gateway said could wait, had I done everything apples to apples will would have been $3400.$1200 savings (or 26% lower) is a huge savings. THANK you to Nick, Nathan and the whole crew!

Just finished getting new tires and brakes done by Gateway and they did a great job. Nathan at the front was friendly and nice to work with. He helped me pick out the tires and was straight forward with the information, cost and options not trying to up sell or push anything. I left the car over night and they were prompt to call and got it done early. Friendly service, up front pricing and good work are what you need when looking for tires and brakes. I would highly recommend them.

I cannot say enough great things about Gateway Tires!! Our family has gone here for years and they are the only people I will trust with my vehicle! Today I called in a panic because I had a nail in my tire and it was going flat... AND I had to leave town in 3 hours for my family’s thanksgiving celebration! Angel said to bring it right in and they would get me on the road. AND THEY DID!! They are beyond honest and just GOOD people! I don’t know why it has taken me so long to submit a review, but they are the best!! Never going anywhere else!!

They take great care of you and your car. I came in with a slow leak in a tire and they fixed it free of charge. Though the estimated wait time was 2 hours during the morning rush, I was in and out in just under an hour, and on my way to work. I will definitely shop here the next time I need tires.

Great place!! Wonderful people! Sunday I drove to Franklin from West Tn for business. I realized there was a nail in my back tire and that it was completely flat. Other major companies told me that I would have to get a new tire and that it couldnt be patched. Gateway not only patched for me, but they put it on for free. No charge for anything. I have taken our cars to Gateway for maintenance in the past, as theyve always been up-front, honest, and usually the fairest price Ive found. Compared to other shops, they also seem to get the work done faster. Todays events have made me a loyal customer, and I hope that you will consider taking your vehicle to them in the future, as well. Debris on the interstate pulled the plastic shield under my bumper away from the wheel well and passenger side. Imagine my surprise when Gateway reattached the piece for us at no charge this morning. Thank you, Gateway, for not sticking it to us for something so simple. You have blessed my little family immensely today.

I had a somewhat negative experience at first mostly due to their very busy shop and some miscommunication, but I got a call from the owner personally after voicing my concerns and we talked it out and he was very fair. They wouldnt be so busy if they didnt do quality work and his personal phone call to me gave me confidence to give them another shot in the future. My coolant leak is fixed and I received good service in the end.

Manager Garth is always ready to go above and beyond to help and make sure you are pleased and taken care of.

I have always had great service and fair prices from Gateway but I ended up paying $57 for an oil change. Thats quick lube pricing at 10 minute lube places and even then thats way too much for an oil change but you pay more for little wait. Just be aware and get a quote before you drop off because they will automatically charge for synthetic unless you request otherwise.

I dropped my car off to get tires swapped onto new wheels. I very clearly said to mount the tires on the stock wheels onto my new wheels. 24 hours later (which is ridiculous for getting tires mounted in of itself), I get the call to come pick up my car. When I show up, they took the tires off my new wheels and put them onto my stock ones, the complete opposite of what I asked for. I’ve now been waiting for an hour for them to fix the mistake and they haven’t even moved my car yet. I decided to try gateway because I heard they were good with nice wheels and low profile tires, but I will never, EVER be back hereUPDATE: after writing this review, gateway was very professional and took care of my issue. Was it a pain, absolutely. Will I be back, likely not. With that being said I appreciate them fixing their mistakes and making me much happier than I was earlier

Im new to town and priced-out a four wheel balance and tire rotation with Gateway and three other tire dealers in Franklin, TN. They were the best price. I was amazed by the clean waiting area that didnt smell of rubber, nice leather lounge chairs, a wide variety of up-to-date magazines and a beverage station. The job was done quickly, communications were good and they didnt try to upsell me on anything--in fact they gave me a discount as a new client.A month later, I had a tire blow-out due to a pothole and they replaced the tire quickly. They even went to bat for me with the manufacturer and got a discount.Id be pleased to recommend them to everybody!

I brought in my 2019 Cherokee on 6/6 to get a set of custom wheels installed which took over 4 hours. When we were driving it home, three of the TPMS sensors stopped working. I brought it back in on 6/10 and waited for another 2 hours. I was told they couldn’t be reset because Jeep must have changed something with the 2019s. I had to take it to a Jeep dealer. After sitting in a Jeep dealer for two hours, they told me all three sensors were damaged and must be replaced at $129 per wheel. I have had to miss work for three days, and now I am out an extra $387 dollars. All I got was sorry from your front desk. I usually do not complain, but this experience is unacceptable. I would give this place zero stars if Google let me.

I went to Gateway to get my tire repaired. I called in the morning and they gave me two options that same day. I came in around 11am and waited for 30 minutes and they repaired my tire perfectly! And for free. Great people and service!

I went in for an oil change and was charged for partial synthetic. It was $53, far more than I have ever paid for an oil change. The service guy told me I could have told them different, but since I was never told that I would be given this oil, against my will in the first place, and was never quoted a price, I dont know that would have been all that easy. I probably wont take my car back here unless I am desperate.

Made an appointment for an alignment service to be done. Brought my vehicle in the next morning and agreed it would be ready by mid-day. I returned over 3 hours later to find no work had been done. No phone call or contact alerting me the car wouldnt be ready on time. I left without any service done.***Garth, the general manager, contacted me directly and explained their reasons for the mishap. I appreciated the follow-up and his efforts to make things right.

I went in for an alignment. I received an alignment. It was lunchtime, and I had called before I arrived. The person who picked up, said it was going to take an hour. That estimate was very close. I was also quoted a fair price. Overall it was a good experience.

These people know what theyre doing. The dealer wanted me to buy two new tires, but all i really needed was a staple pulled from the tire and a patch put in. Additionally, they found a lawn mower tire plug in the same tire that a different dealer plugged. These guys saved me $300 - Im glad I went to them for a second opinion on my tires.

Not very friendly. I cant say that Ive ever felt welcome. My wifes truck was a test to see if we liked the place. Probably wont go back for any of our other needs. Parking is a nightmare. I think they are geared more towards commercial business. We have 2 large tractors, 1 two ton dually, a 1 ton truck, my wifes truck, 2 UTVs, and an xterra. Thats lots of business to go elsewhere.Oh, well. All it takes is a warm smile, a hello and last maybe Thank you, come again.

We were in from out of state and our radiator bit the dust on Friday at midnight. Gateway was awesome in that they took care of it Sat morning so we were able to continue our vacation with barely a delay! Would use them all the time if we lived nearby!

Had the car towed elsewhere, and the problem was fixed with one part and a cost of $400.

Beware! These guys will try to screw you over. Ive been a customer for several years and I will never return. I brought my truck in for an oil change, tire rotation and I asked them to replace the spark plugs. They quoted me 3 hrs labor and over $300 to replace the plugs. I called their Murfreesboro store and they said it would take 1.4 hours for $126. I called the Franklin store on this and they said they made a mistake and that it would take 2 hrs. Yeah right. Then they tried to tell me I needed new front brake pads and rotors, when the Murfreesboro store had replaced all of my brake pads 30K miles ago. My fisrt set of pads lasted me 122K miles. Very shadyEdit: there was no misunderstanding. I understand very well that your business tried to screw me over. My father was in the auto industry all his life and I worked for him for several years. I know all the tricks of the trade. I was called back by the service manager who said the plugs would take 1.9 hours. Still a .5 hour discrepancy with their other store. And he failed to mention how they got the 3 hour estimate in the first place. Then he insisted my front brakes were down to 20% after only 1.5 years and 30K miles which I have a very hard time believing. Ill get them checked out by someone else

Very bad experience. Got service with them, they did not tight the tire nut studs properly on the front tire. Sound was coming very bad. when I went again to them they did not look properly and said everything is good. Sound became worst and I went to another dealer they told tire was about to come out it was very loose.
