Awesome shop, and awesome staff.After an unexpected alternator issue during a family trip, the owner(manager) squeezed me in onto the schedule so we were not stranded another day, welcomed my family into the waiting room, very accommodating waiting room, as they fixed my car, and went above and beyond to make sure my extended warranty was put into affect and able to be used, as we couldnt get any appointments to get our car fixed at the actual dealership in order to utilize extended warranty.I will forever be thankful for this shop and their staff.Look no further when finding a mechanic to honestly and reliably work on your vehicle!

I have been coming to Davis for over 30 years. Gary won my loyalty years ago when I dropped a car off at the shop so it could be repaired while I was at work. Normally, when I did that, Gary would send someone to my workplace at the end of the day to pick me up and bring me back. This particular visit, I had made other arrangements so didnt work out a pick up time with Gary. Much to my surprise, he showed up at my job at the regular time anyway just because he was concerned that I didnt have a ride. I was stunned and have been a loyal customer ever since. I have had multiple cars over the years and Davis has always taken great care of them. I currently drive a Subaru and Jason, (a former Subaru employee) knows everything about the vehicles. He has been great about diagnosing any problems I have and on more than one occasion, has told me I didnt need an expensive repair that I thought I did. I have moved from Franklin but now drive from Nashville when I need work done because I trust Davis and it is worth the extra time and miles to me. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone.

My wife had just moved to the area when her brakes started failing. I wasn’t going to be nearby for another week. I talked to Gary and he actually stayed after closing to look at her car. The next day they came to her work and picked up the vehicle, repaired it and returned it to her work. However I end up paying $126 for diagnosis charge which I agreed to pay.Update:I again visited Toyota service center they have replaced the steering shaft but still issue persists, however Toyota not charged me for this and they decided to change steering motor and I have to pay only for the parts and waived labor.So, the diagnosis charge I have paid with Davis auto is of no use and doubt the technicians quality.

Can’t say enough about Jason and the staff at Davis Auto. The air in my Ford Explorer was not blowing cold. Took it to the Ford dealership in franklin and was told it needed a new air compressor at the price of $2100. A friend recommended Davis Auto so I took it there to have the work done because it was much cheaper. Once they got my car the air was blowing intermittent cold then hot, so they wanted to do more tests before changing out compressor. They discovered it was overfilled with Freon and recharged to proper levels. Air was working fine after that. They wanted me to drive it for a few days to see how it did before doing anything else. It has worked fine ever since! The compressor may go out tomorrow but I still appreciate the time they spent trying to determine the problem and not just replacing the compressor because that’s what someone else said it needed. Honest people!!

After doing DIY repairs of my girlfriend’s car front brake system, while trying bleed the brake system. I broke a bleeder valve in the rear drum brake. I got reached out by Robbie and explained the issue. He gave a quote and was able to get repairs done on the same day. Robbie was exceptionally courteous and welcoming. Definitely, coming back for repairs and solid service.

They were exceptionally helpful in getting my car running just before the Thanksgiving holiday and were able to explain what was wrong with my car without being condescending or talking over my head. They went the extra mile to source an expensive part and saved me about $500. The waiting area is well-appointed, comfortable and clean.

I had to get my 96 Toyota Carney worked on, but wasnt exactly sure what was wrong with it, but Davis Auto Service figured out what was wrong with it. They took my car out for a test drive twice because the Tech wasnt satisfied happy with the way it was working. They found something else that could have caused me to brake down again. I am very happy that they took the time to make sure that when I picked up my car that it would run better when I picked it up. Their honest and they seem to be very focused on Customer Service.
