I bought a Whirlpool dishwasher back in June 2020 and the delivery people dented the facing of it. I called and called and have been told that it is on back order due to Covid. I cant give a good marking due to this. I wont be back!

Called last of May to order a loveseatOn June 1st arrived at store to find out the one wanted to order had been discontinued. Ordered one basically same style. 6 weeks for delivery. Today is August 25, and I have called several times since mid July to check on delivery. Got email early August saying it would be delivered to them August 24 and to me August 25. Waiting since 10am for return call to determine status. Never again will i order from them. Delivered Sept 1st. Delivery team was excellent. Very professional. Southern motion furniture most comfortable I have ever had. Made in Mississippi.

I can no longer recommend buying from D.T. McCalls. In 2016 I ordered a refrigerator, washer and dryer from D.T.s. This experience was excellent and I have referred many people to the store as a result. Last week I purchased a new washing machine from them as I wanted to continue to give them my business over the big box stores. Shop small support our local economy. This was not the same experience and I will not be recommending them to anyone or purchasing anything from them in the future. Considering my past purchases I would think they would treat me as a loyal customer. Not the case nothing but disrespectful behavior from their delivery team and poor customer service. They destroyed my stairwell while removing my old washer, sold by them none the less, and are saying they are not responsible for damage from removing the old appliance. They might as well have thrown it down the stairs if that was the case. Do not buy from this company save money and buy it at the big box stores who can offer better prices and faster service.

Yesterday was my first purchase experience with D.T. McCall & Sons, and I could not have been more pleased. I was in desperate need of a good, but reasonably prices dishwasher and Ray, one of the owners, made it possible for me to own one. Not only was the unit especially quiet and efficient, but the price and conditions were exceptional. For installation I used J.C. Mitchell, a veteran in the business who was as cordial as he was skilled. So, all in all, it was a very good day for me and my dishes. I can readily say, it was a great experience.

We chose to buy a Speed Queen Washer from DT McCalls because we like to shop local. After taking delivery of the washer on a Saturday, a pump went bad the following day leaving us with a brand new, $1k plus appliance that didn’t work. The subsequent days were filled with excuses, empty promises, failures to return calls and a level of customer service worse than what you’d get at a big box store. Then, we found out they sold us a floor model. They refused to replace the machine or refund our money...we’d had the washer for 24hours. Our headache will end soon enough, the world will move on, but if you need appliances, do not shop at DT McCalls. You will regret it. The service experience was an abject disaster. Things break, machines fail, that’s common, but when an entire organization passively avoids making things right, they don’t deserve your business.

Watch out when buying appliances here. If there is an issue with it, they will slow walk you until the warranty is up. We are experiencing this with a whirlpool refrigerator. To top it all off, its almost impossible to get someone that knows anything and when you start asking questions they get hostile. Maybe this use to be a good company but with this service I dont know how.

Ive now made several purchases from DT McCalls in Franklin and been well pleased each time. I have intensively shopped the items I was looking for each time at big box stores and each time this store came through with what I was looking for and the best pricing.

Sorry to say, I bought carpet from this store and the experience was very poor. I do renovations all the time, and have never had to have the installer come back multiple days to finish the job, for three little rooms.

Friendly, fantastic selection of furniture, flooring, and appliances. They worked with us to purchase a new fridge when were purchased a new home.

Pushy, unhelpful, and unprofessional. Be sure to watch any delivery/installation like a hawk because they will gladly tear up your house just to leave a little bit sooner and dont expect them to care about, much less fix, any damages they cause - they will just dismiss you or send you on a goose chase with phone numbers of people who are conveniently never available. The only good part about my experience is that they actually delivered what I purchased on the day they promised.

If I could give them anything less on a review it would be in the negative. I have never been more dissatisfied with a company. Dt McCall & Sons use to have a sterling reputation. I dont know if they have grown to be to big or they are just about getting their commision. I will never use them and I will let everyone I know to look elsewhere in their search for appliances. Dont waste your time.

Great experience buying from a local company

Bought a washer and dryer last Saturday and delivery was scheduled yesterday by 6 pm and they were a no call and no show. Told us three times today we would get a call back in 15 minutes and it never happened.Ray McCall said he would call be back in 15 at that was 7 hrs ago.Our delivery fell thru the cracks is their excuse. I said okay I understand get it to me today. They said they can’t. NEVER AGAIN!

Mike Phillips was very nice and attentive to our needs. He is coming to our home to give us an estimate on flooring. So far, so good....

Purchased several special order appliances and had them delivered and installed. The prices were very competitive and no delivery fee! I had some issues during the install but everything was made right - highly recommend!

Mike Phillips is very low key, no pressure. He listened to our needs and made good suggestions. We purchased about 2,000 sqft of luxury vinyl flooring (Cortec) and had McCalls install. Installation took less time than planned and now, after about four months, we still love it. They did a great job. Recommend.

Terrible service, Ill never buy from them again. Also over priced.....making America broke again.

Ordered 2 recliners on July 5th. Was told it would take 3 weeks. As of today, August 28, still no recliners. After calling them several times, now being told they can not get the leather that we ordered and they are are making 2 recliners in a comparable color! No calls have been received from them during this fiasco. We have initiated all contact with them.Next step is to file a complaint with the BBB, which I will definitely do.Stay away from this joke of a business!! Never again!!!

BUYER BEWARE; they DO NOT stand behind what they sell. Moreover, if you dont live in Carthage, TN.- where their repair shop is - you will be charged hundreds of dollars for them to pick up and return your product depending on where you live, but wont be informed of those charges until after the fact. We purchased a new 25,000 BTU A/C unit that didnt last 2 years. We drove 4 hours from Franklin, TN to Carthage to their repair shop; which by the way the docking area was a sea of broken glass and nails, to drop off our unit for repair. Consequently, during the repair they managed to destroy the electrical cord, lost the air control lever and bent & mashed down 2/3 of the outside fins and but only replaced the electrical cord. Mind you, we took it in for a freon leak only; the other components that made up this unit were in perfect condition other than it needed to be cleaned. We asked for a new replacement after all this because we no longer trusted the unit, but were refused. Sure enough, less than a year later its leaking freon again! Thus, we called the repair shop and was told by their service man Bobby they will not work on this unit again or replace it. In other words...suck it up. We tried to reach A.J. McCall by phone when this first happen last August, 2015 but was told hes on vacation a lot and he would return our call when he returns from Florida. Instead, he has a front man call to tell us he will not replace the unit but will give us $200.00 towards a new one. As a result, we have come to the conclusion that the posterity of the original founder of this company just skates along on his forefathers honesty and hard work. Shame on you and those ads you put on television. Just FYI...we have bought 2 A/C units from Lowes over the past 18 years and they both are still working; Lowes will stand behind what they sell.

I having problems with my washer every time I try to call and tell them about the problem they tell me it’s normal for the machine to have problems. I’m pretty sure my $1000 washer isn’t supposed to shake my whole house during one of its cycles. I wish D.T. Would help but I always get directed to there service manager Mr. Dennis. All he does is tell me he’ll help but this problem is going on the second month I called at least 3 times about the problem. I need to buy more things for my home but I’ll think twice about using D.T. Again.

Great products, but the salesman didnt know which dishwashers had self cleaning filters. He said only one KitchenAid had it but there were several Maytag & other dishwashers that had non-removable self-cleaning filters, Wich is a really good feature. I think the service is what you pay for here, but the prices gave me sticker shock. IfI had a luxury home Id spend the extra money, but I need to be frugal.

I bought a Samsung microwave and dishwasher from this location. When delivered the microwave was the wrong one and the dishwasher had 8 dents on the inside and was missing the installation hardware. When I called I spoke with Val whose response to the microwave was well the other one was more expensive. Not sure how that was helpful but in the attempt of trying to keep my kitchen remodel moving forward I just accepted the wrong microwave and installed it. They didnt have a replacement for the damaged dishwasher so they sent me the floor model. Well it showed up with the wrong installation hardware. Again I called and spoke with Val whose response was we took the hardware from another dishwasher and thought it would work. It didnt. So I then I had to speak with the Carthage location about getting my hardware. On a 3rd trip to my home they brought another set of hardware and verified by the tech who came, it too was incorrect. They then shipped me the correct hardware and I was finally able to get my dishwasher installed only to find out it was bad. It was giving a drain pump failure code. I called Samsung for assistance and they asked how long I had owned the dishwasher because it was manufactured in 2015. They asked I turn the power off going to the dishwasher to try and rerest it. No help. After another cycle I got the same error code. Samsung said the dishwasher would have to be serviced or replaced. After a week of I dont know how many phone calls I finally had to load the dishwasher up and take it to the store myself to get my refund. I only wish I would have read the other reviews on this store and I could have saved myself weeks of headaches. While waiting on DT McCalls to do something about the dishwasher I went to Lowes and bought a new dishwasher and stove and couldnt be happier. Save yourself the trouble and just go to Lowes .

We wanted to purchase from DT McCalls (Franklin) because they are a small business and not a big box store. We are so dissatisfied that we will never go there again. It has been 9 months and we are STILL waiting for a replacement for the refrigerator door that was busted up and missing an inner shelf! Weve called numerous times only to be told it is on order, and then that there is no record of that order. Next time well head to the bigger stores that understand the importance of customer service and follow through.

I recently purchased new appliances for my new home and found the best selection and service from DT McCalls. They were very friendly and Jason helped us find the perfect items for our new home. They were delivered and installed for free and we were assured that if we needed any assistance they were only a phone call away. Their prices were very competitive and their service unmatched!

I have been a long time customer but this time I was very unhappy. The installers didnt show up with the the right appliances. There was no follow up by sales person on what hapoen like I was promised.

At my age, I have made many many purchases in my life. After looking for a small side-by-side refrigerator and dishwasher at other locations, I went to D.T. McCall and Sons in Franklin on the day before I had decided to buy something elsewhere. I am SO THANKFUL I checked this place out!I had never been to this store before, but they had the exact Amana refrigerator I was looking for that nobody else anywhere near here had. I had the pleasure of dealing with Ray McCall, who not only found that they also had the refrigerator I was looking for in black (their display was white) but was also able to order the exact dishwasher my wife was looking for.The delivery was at no charge, and the delivery persons were very careful with the merchandise and also careful with our home!I could not have been more impressed with my first experience with the Franklin D.T. McCall Store. I rarely write reviews on Google, but this was such a great experience I wanted to share it. Five stars all the way. This store will be my first stop next time I am looking for an appliance, furniture, flooring, or any home improvement item. I cannot express enough what great customer service and attention to detail that this store has.

My service with D.T. McCall - Franklin, TN store was very unsatisfactory. Long story short, the seams in our carpet were not sealed correctly, and when they came to correct it, our TV cabinet and TV was overturned. Damage to cabinet, and about 5 months later the TV quit working. They have paid us a laughing amount to replace TV. We will not allow them in our house so we will not get our carpet replaced. We asked for the money it would take to replace our carpet, and it was ignored. They are very unprofessional, and customer service only is offered if it benefits them. Never will I do business with ANY D.T. McCall store.
