I just spoke to Gary about a return issue I had and without hesitation he took care of it. Ive had numerous questions over the years and they have always answered them, gotten the parts that I needed and taken care of their customers first. Obviously the big name down Rt12 is a big name but Boating Warehouse is without question a better business.

It is very possible that I will say something obvious now. We have many places around here where you can buy parts and accessories for your boats. But there is one very special place, at least in my opinion, The Boating Warehouse in Fox Lake . This place has something very special, the person who runs it. The owner of this place has a great knowledge of everything that can move on the water, can advise, help and even borrow a specialized tool. Last year my husband did a general overhaul of our boat, their advice saved us a lot of time and mistakes, and they had all the necessary parts and accessories.Very difficult times have come for such small companies like this, I encourage everyone to visit this place if you have any boat needs or need professional advice.

Needed a starter on the 4th of July, this was the only place that had one. They stayed open later while I made the drive to get the starter and saved the holiday for us. I would definitely recommend coming here.

Walked in knowing that I needed a fuel filter for my Merc outboard...and that’s all I knew. The Boating Warehouse employee that helped me was extremely patient telling me the info he needed to look it up in his catalogue. He was able to find the correct part, described how to replace it and offered other suggestions why I couldn’t maintain full throttle on the boat. Thankfully doing all this restored my motor to normal operation.Best of all, they were open on a Monday unlike all the marinas in the area!

Every time I have gone into this place, one of the owners have been there and helped me personally. Their customer service is extraordinary, their prices match those of bigger box stores, and they are knowledgeable.The only down side is that they arent open more, but I get it, we all have lives.I would go out of my way to spend money here knowing that I am not just paying for a product, but also peace of mind.

Fourth of July weekend and one of our two 350 mag engines cranked but wouldnt start. First thing Sunday morning off to the Boating Warehouse for advice. After troubleshooting with us detail, they provided us with the solution of a new relay switch. Back home and less than a half hour we were back under full power again, and back to enjoying the incredible holiday weekend.This isnt the first time they have been of help....but this time around, we needed to take time out of our day to thank them for allowing us to continue with our boating day. Im glad we have this place so close to home. They have a little bit of everything and stock Volvo parts which not a lot of places do, other than the dealer. The guys there are real nice and very helpful.

My prop broke after hitting a rock in the water. After calling around to a few different places I found boat warehouse and was sold. Other places were selling drops for 200+ and boatwarehouse charged me 139. Plus the store clerk gave me a bunch of pointer on how to fix my gages.👍
