First thing on my list about this store it smells. The second thing the surcharge. The third thing when you go back there to the meat market and you see the old outdated coolers that the meat are displayed in the top on the inside underneath is rotted and falling apart which is right over the meat and dripping rusted water onto our meets that were supposed to put in our bodies I think thats disgusting and the women are there just looking at it until I said something and she removed the meat from there but how long was that going on and the problem wasnt fixed I went back again and they put meats right back in the same spot. Yes the cashiers are very nice the guy sweeping the floor is super nice the people outside begging for money dont attack you but I want to eat foods that are safe as can be I know thats hard nowadays but I dont want rusted water meat

I went because a store ad for soft drinks 4 for $9.98 but it really wasnt a good deal on account of the FACT that they will always add a extra charge FOR NO REASON AT ALL ITS THERE STORE POLICY to your bill I bought$ 20.75worth of groceries but it turned in to $23.98 because they just automatically add $3.61 to your bill ITS THE WAY THEY RUN THIS FRANCHISE all the stores do it I read it on line. . Noway do I want to give a store FREE 💰 🤑 💸 💲 money thats just STUPID (in my opinion) They call it a SURCHARGE

I like that store. They are always nice to me and they are affordable. One time I got mad at them because they would not cut up my turkey necks for my Gumbo had to call the manager but thats about it.

The prices are not the real prices. They add whatever they like to to the final price. Hence cost plus(whatever they want to add)

The smell of rotten meat hits you as soon as you walk in the door.Produce has more than its fair share of mold, avoid it.Need canned beans? They seem safe. Get in and out quickly and they are expensive beyond reason.

I have been in Ft Worth for 2 yrs and live close to this little store. Just went in for the first time and was very impressed with their prices, selection and customer service.

If i could give it a zero stars i would but awful place so expensive you can find it cheaper at walmart or target please dont waste your money here not even worth it the kids that work there dont even know what they are doing

Unless you spend over $200 on groceries on each visit, this store’s pricing system ADDS to the posted price.

They charge you a 20 percent on your total if you dont spend al least 15 dollars. percentage lowers as you spend more. never seen this at any other grocery store al least out in the open. never going back my grocery bill is never 100 dollars to beat the surcharge.

Theres this hidden markup fee you have to pay. Also, the cashiers are always unhappy and grumpy. They must really not like their lives.

Kids work here and sometimes overcharge if they dont pay attention... they also charge you a percentage of the total you buy. Yeah its great prices but get their money back by taxing you for food..

Good carniceria ( meat market) in the back of the store. Produce is fresh and neatly organized. Workers are friendly and helpful. Great grocery store for mexican home cooking. And its small enough to make it a quick trip. Id go there again.

This is a waste of time to come here. Very disappointed when I looked at my receipt. I bought things HERE THINKING I was saving. They charged ME TAX and a surcharge that WAS WAY higher than the tax. Your better off goong to Target or s9mewhere else.

The way this store works isnt too difficult to understand: 20 cents is added to every dollar you spend (or a little less than 20 cents, depending on how much you buy...but for all practical purposes just figure 20 cents). No food item (excluding candy, soft drinks, and alcohol) is taxed in the state of Texas...this is just the stores extra charge. The surcharges are outlined at the top of their weekly ads. Look at the listed price on the item youre picking up...do the rough math on the listed price ...then decide if its still a good deal. Sometimes it actually is. When you do the math, youll find the real item price is generally in line with the regular (non-sale) prices of El Rancho or Rio Grande Latino markets. The store is generally very convenient and efficient to get in and out of for quick errands though.

The employees here are great and extremely helpful! Its nice to have a place I can run to quick when i need something, but the extra 20% they drop on the total at checkout is rather annoying.

Worse store I’ve been too the manager is rude as hell the cashier we got alaa is super rude as well no type of good service items were in the incorrect places prices were marked wrong just a dirty store in general will not be coming back at all. A small Mexican grocery store that sells everything for really low prices and good quality, but has an additional surcharge. Ex: $1.00 product +8¢ tax and +20¢ surcharge comes to be $1.28.

The only thing that rattles my bones is the tax is cheaper the more you buy and more expensive the least you spend so coming here for 1 thing is Ill advised but they combat that with low prices so I mean, you win some, you lose some. But definitely a go to shop for Mexican cuisine

I shopped at the cost plus store in Fort Worth, Tx. Today I bought alcohol and was asked for my ID which I produced to the cashier. At the time I asked the cashier was she over 21 she said no I asked her why are you selling alcohol and youre not permitted to. She continued to sell me the alchol and the manager was standing right there and said nothing. I made a complaint and still nothing was done.They let under age cahiers sell alcohol. Which is wrong.

Overpriced. They charge a 5% fee on top of the 8.25% sales tax. They charge almost a 14% fee. DO NOT SHOP THERE!!!
