The tour & tasting by Brad with dear friends was such a fun experience. Brad (standing at the far end of the table) educated & entertained us. Tony Formby, the owner & operating manager, has made Acre Distilling Company a beautiful and warm venue for tastings and private events. Anyone can rent the space for parties. The dining room and bar are gorgeous, and the Acre staff is skilled and makes the experience a blast. I cannot wait to return.

Brad did a wonderful job of presenting the different spirits available, and explaining the distilling process. Tasting was great fun. I bought the Sage Tea Vodka and the Cinnamon Girl Whisky—and I’m not a whisky drinker! Just so good. Plus I bought two bottles of other varieties for gifts. Brad and Brandon made our evening of tasting with friends such a delight!

I decided to come here after work to wind down. So glad I did. What makes or breaks a place for me is service. Rose is cool - no BS, friendly, and informative. The place itself is quaint - dark wood throughout. I came here for whiskey and outstanding whiskey is what I got. Pictured is the Smoked Single Malt. Slightly smoked and very smooth.

We arrived late for the last tour, but decided to enjoy a flight and some drinks. Jeremy the bartender was very nice and made us feel so welcomed. He made us some cool and creative drinks that tasted so delicious that left us wanting even more. He was very informative about the distillery and since this was our first time in Texas he even gave us tips about places to visit.

Low key distillery that makes there own cocktails from their own liquors made in house. they have great drinks and you can buy bottles from them. You can go on a tour for under $20. it’s never overly crowded and is a good place to chill and enjoy your company. They offer samples of some of their whiskeys and such if you are torn between which one to buy or even sip on. This is gem in the heart of Fort Worth.

My significant other and I went on a tour here a week or so ago. It was an absolute blast. The tasting is done in the room where they do all the distilling so it’s a very neat environment. The guys, Brad and Brandon, that taught us about the place we’re fantastic. They were very knowledgeable and fun. It wouldn’t have been the same experience without them. I was surprised at the range of spirits they made in house. I definitely recommend stopping buy for a drink or tour.

We have enjoyed our visits to the Acre Distilling Co. We have taken the tasting tour a couple times, its always a good experience for visiting friends and relatives. Previously Tony has always given us the tasting experience and it has been very informative. Last night Brad gave us the tasting experience; Brad is new to this job and is doing a fantastic job filling in for such big shoes. In addition to the tastings, the drinks are great, the bar tenders are friendly, and the bottles are priced appropriately and are of good quality. Thanks for a great experience and time!

Our company, Texas Mortgage Bankers Association hosted an event for approximately 100 people at the distillery last week and it was a HUGE hit. Tony and his team were amazing to work with and created an unforgettable experience for our members. Food was great, tour was fabulous and cocktails were to die for! If you have an event in Fort Worth, you better book it at Acre!!!

Great prices. Friendly staff. We did the tasting as part of my brothers birthday and it was a great experience. We got to try almost everything then brought bottles at 25% off!! I will be back. Their tea vodka is to die for. I wish I had known of them sooner. I am happy Yelp had an event with them and I tasted my friends vodka.

My husband and I had drinks and did the distillery tour....it was great. The location was easy to find. The building is beautifully updated without being pretentious. We chatted with the bartender and the owner. They were both delightful. We didnt eat but the simple menu had variety if we had not had dinner plans. What I saw served smelled yummy. The liquor I tasted was really well done...but I had to pace myself since I was driving. We bought two bottles to take him.....a great peach tea vodka and lovely whiskey. They really know what they are doing....have great stories about the history of fort Worth....and are sourcing lots locally. Cant be beat for the price....we totally recommend you go with some friends.

My wife and I went to visit this distillery, as it was within walking distance from our hotel, and we wanted to take a tour. When we arrived, the owner and head distiller was dealing with the health inspector and could not give us a tour. He was very short with us, but I understand since he was dealing with a city official. We sat at the bar and did a flight of their spirits. The bartender was nice, but she was more worried about her friend who walked in. We asked for our check and it took her about 5 minutes. We were the only people in the place besides her friend.Overall, this place makes some good spirits, but didnt have an outstanding visit. Hence, the three star rating.

Located in the orginal hell’a half acre region of Fort Worth. I really really like this distillery! Probably the best one I’ve visited, or I may be partial to fort worth. The tour is worth taking, you get so many samples and a really great historical explanation of Fort Worth along with the description of how they make their liquors. They even give you a super cool glass thats actually worth keeping. Better than those beer glasses you get at breweries!Their drinks are made well and service is quick. I like the vibe and location. Do yourself a favor and book the tour. All done while seated at tables in the distillery production room, the owner and tour master does a phenomenal job at sharing his knowledge on the art of distilling, as well as a nice Texas history lesson about the area. This was unique from other tours we have done in the past and there is a passion behind the distillery that shows. There are a variety options to taste, based on your preferences and we all agreed, there is something for everyone - and a mixer just in case it doesnt resonate with you on first sip. We also had a couple lattes before the tour started, the beans were excellent! All around, solid location.

The owner personally explained his beautiful facility. The bartender clearly loves his job and was excited to describe each spirit on the menu. As we tried them he explained what we were tasting which made for a really nice experience while we were in town for the convention. Im sure we wouldnt expect this if they were busier but it was nice! I ended up leaving my bag at Acre and the owner called my cell (we had exchanged business cards) and offered to bring it to my hotel. So in summary, the setting is pubish and personal, service and hospitality was on point, and the drinks were very interesting and made for lovely conversation. Well done!

Theyre technically considered only a tasting room at this point, so they can only serve what they make, but the mixed drinks that they do have are fantastic (and holy crap are they strong!). They distill their own gin, vodka, and Bourbon. They also have some infused moonshine... Very sweet and was difficult to get through a full flight... Im sure this place means well, but I had a bad experience. As soon as I walked in I had no idea if I was to wait on a hostess or seat myself. I noticed others that arrived after me were caught in a similar confusion. The drinks are about $10 a piece. Im not against a $10 drink, but the bartender got sidetracked making my drink 3 separate times and physically looked confused when he came back to mine and was trying to remember which step he was on. Im not sure how one minute they were out of Sm/LG flatbreads, but then someone else from my table orders the size I was told they were out of minutes later and they were in stock. I think this place means well, but it seemed like they cannot handle any time of rush. Probably wouldnt visit again. I did like the atmosphere and the menus.

While on my morning walk to get away from the office I stopped in for a coffee. Made the mistake of asking the barista a question. While I was amused by her thinly disguised condescension it made me wonder if she was this dismissive of all her customers. There is an abundance of alternative coffee spots downtown so if you are like me, i.e. you take a walk in the morning and afternoon to stretch the legs and get out of the office, then do yourself a favor and pick one of the alternatives. I know I will.
