Up until recently, I was a high end childrens boutique store owner. We used campbell Paper Co. for all of our bags, boxes and tissue paper. My last order that I made was on January 10th, 2014. The bags typically took 2 weeks or less to get. When the end of the month rolled around and nothing showed up, I called to check on the status of my bags and was told that they shipped and would be there any day. That turned into another week so I called to get another update. The lady that I was dealing with told me that my order actually wasnt put into the computer so my bags were still delayed. We are a high end clothing store and we had to get bags from target and walmart...I was livid but understanding and asked that they send me temporary bags until ours showed up because I was desperate and needed something. I called 2 weeks later only to find out that my bags still werent put into the system. They finally were entered into the system the last week of February. When I found that out, I asked if there was something they could do for me since I was the one who was out and customer service was horrible as was their follow up. The lady that I spoke with said that they could refund me the cost of the temporary bags AND the bags that I had placed an order for. I was happy with that and felt that she was trying to make it right even though the situation was so wrong. The bags did finally show up in March. I checked my credit card statement and I still saw charges on it from Campbell paper so I called to inquire. I got the typical we will have someone call you back and a few days went by so I called. I spoke with a really nice lady and she told me that they could refund my $$ for the temporary bags. I knew that the amount didnt sound right so I went home and checked it and sure enough, it wasnt. I called her back today and she said that the original lady that I spoke with spoke out of turn and should have never told me that they would refund all of my money and that they werent going to. I asked to speak with the owner and when he got on the phone I kindly explained the situation and he said we have done what is fair and I told him that the original lady whom I was dealing with first told me I would get all of my money back for the hassle and he said that she was let go for saying that to me and that his final decision was that they are not refunding me my money. I told him that honoring what one of his employees had said to me was the right thing to do. He said I have made the final decision and thats it. We will never be buying product from them again and I hope no one finds themselves in this situation with them....
