Very friendly staff. They greeted me right when I walked in. I came in for a car key. The young man put it in his machine. It didnt register. He pulled out his book to verify. Unfortunately they dont stock the one I needed. But he did try to find the correct item, which was better than other places I have gone to. I will definitely be back to shop there just because of their customer service!

I met and interacted with the awsome store manager and later the store owner when an X-large Big Green Egg was purchased and later personally delivered and set up by them. It was on sale but the Ace Hardware nearest me did not carry the line. It turned out well because the employees and management at the store were and are so very polite and helpful. The store itself like most Ace Hardware Stores and unlike the big box stores have knowledgeable and helpful staff to get you what you need and get you on your way quickly. You wont be disapointed if you visit this store.

Been dealing with these fine folks for at least 10 years. They always try to go beyond when I need help. They are in the process of improving the store. It will take some time to get used to the new layout, but I am there often enough I will figure it out. Would recommend.

Well first, Id like to give a huge thanks to THOMAS, there at #haltomhardware / #acehardware. Excellent service! Thomas and his counterpart both worked hard to get me what I needed and on my way! Extremely knowledgeable with his products in the store and a brilliant problem solver with an instant solution to my problem. Very impressed! Everything I bought the evening before (ALL WRONG) went right back to #tractorsupply with all apologies. No one there at Tractor Supply knew who they were or even where they were even at.. Was just puzzling to me. Just blank stares to my questions. Anyways, point being, I was in Haltom Hardware with a problem, received a quick solution from Thomas, everything was in stock that was needed and I was out the door in 20 minutes max! Great place to shop for hardware and much more. The prices are competitive and the people are there to help you find whatever you came for. Its a great place for the handyman or someone that thinks they are. You will not be let down.

Workers are very helpful and friendly. They are remodeling the store so I didnt know where anything was. George walked with me and showed me where everything was that I needed.

In the past weve always had a good experience at the store. However today they made my wife dig for 10 minutes for a receipt for a $2 bottle of caulking that was their brand in which the tube was defective and blew up.Once the receipt was found, they told her they would not honor the exchange.Pretty stupid to lose a customer over about $2.50.

My Father in Law is very close to the end of his life with Cancer and really enjoys the fried pies they sell at the hardware store. When the next order of pies came in Janie personally bought my Father in Laws favorite flavors and held them for us to pick up. Her compassion is a symbol of how the people of this store take care of their customers. Thank you very much.

This Ace is right by our house, and way easier to navigate than HD or Lowe’s so I wish we enjoyed shopping here. Not a single employee wears a mask anymore, not on their chin, under their nose, none at all. Im uncomfortable shopping anywhere like that. A few months ago the owner went on a whole rant to me about hating masks, very uncomfortable.

Every time Ive been there the service has been great. Very knowledgeable, very nice and has that personal touch that some of us need. Along with the convenience of my needs. Quick and easy. A little high priced on some things but will send out coupons so that helps. All in all, Ill only use other hardware stores if Ace cant get what I need. Good job!!

We were looking for new door plates to replace the old ones. Looked at Home Depot first. Then I remembered Ace Hardware and they had exactly what we needed. Ace Hardware always will have stuff you can not find any where else.

Always a good place to pick up what you need

No mask enforcement period. Employees are walking around without wearing them. Customers are coming in and walking around and nobody even says a word. This place is terrible and Im never coming here again. So sick of giving them a chance to donate better. Ive been a customer for a decade and now theyll never get another penny. Also, Im calling the city.Edit: Filed complaints with the city an the county.

Courteous and knowledgeable staff always ready to help you find what your looking for. When I go here looking for a part, I usually find it. If they dont have it, they will recommend places to find it.

Always have those odd hardware bits you need although sometimes it takes a bit of searching to find.

First three times go in there it was cool and then after that I was not good enough guess my money aint green enough and this has been ongoing for the past 8 times Ive been in there and really snobby and stuck up really disgusting overpriced and I go in there buy thing whats the time they dont have it or they dont want to help. Respect goes a long way with me.

Always amazing customer service and if by some odd reason it’s not in stock, are great at either ordering what I need or creatively engineer something that I would never think of which ends up working better than my original idea. Great prices too! (What I thought would be a $70 fix only cost me $8) I will definitely be back!

I came into Ace looking for a replacement lock for a filing cabinet. I was greeted and offered help as soon as I walked in. One worker was very helpful and creative trying to help solve my problem. He gave several options and was patient as I thought them through. In the end, he gave a solution that I would not have thought of and worked very well.The prices were reasonable and excellent customer service.

Prices are always reasonable, and real good if a sale or coupon is available. Customer service is fantastic as many of the employees are knowledgeable. Ive been shopping there over 25 yrs.

It might be a covid thing or what not, but they never have anything I need. Its unfortunate considering how close I live to this location. I now drive all across town to the basswood location. They have what I need every time I walk in.

Ive been in here a handful of times, and each time the staff is very helpful. I was just in there because I needed help figuring out my weedwhacker... and an employee took me to the back, worked with me to fix it, and it turns out, I didnt have to buy anything. Of course, I ended up buying about $50 of stuff... but Im glad to support these guys.Last year I needed an adapter for my refrigerator water line. I went to HD and the dude had no idea what I was looking for. I went into this ACE, explained my situation, and the guy says, Oh yeah, thats really common with 50s and 60s Texas homes... the piece you need is right over here.Friendly. Helpful. Knowledgeable.

My go-to neighborhood hardware store. A lot of stuff in a relatively small space.

Be aware of this store, they stereotype. Especially black people. I overheard this Caucasian manager tell this black lady (whom was obviously a professional women due to her attire) that she had first thought the weed odor in the store was coming from her! I was soooooo embarrassed for her! And like the lady was saying it like “oh yeah no worries! I thought it was you but false alarm!”. I walked out of the store without purchasing anything. Ridiculous!

I seriously dont know why I dont ALWAYS come here but when I do its in a pinch and Im in the middle of a project like mounting a tv or hanging a new light fixture. Prices are a bit higher than the big box stores and of course its smaller so not as much selection and no building materials but the customer service is on point and absolutely blows the other guys into the weeds. Bring 8n what your trying to do with what ever dimensions you have and they will work out some way to accomplish your objective. They have never failed me. And dont forget to grab a Mindy Lous Fried Pie on the way out. They are a great treat before you get back to that project thats about to get you all riled up.
