I have been dealing with a brain tumor, that caused a stroke when it spread, the stroke effected my vision. I was to be referred to Matt for vision therapy, he is amazing! He has challenged and strengthen both vision and cognitive skills. He always has a variety of tasks to keep me busy and sessions are tailored specifically for me. I highly recommend Matt.Donna, is very friendly and accommodating with appointments and insurance and billing. She knows and understands the business.Dr. Loy is able to specialized scans of the eye and explain how it is functioning or not functioning.Extremely satisfied and would recommend!

Dr. Loy has a warm, professional manner, but hes knowledgeable and competent. His nurse, Donna, is kind and efficient. I would definitely recommend this office without reservation.

Dr. Loy was kind, thorough and professional. I was impressed that he had clearly reviewed my complex medical history prior to our appointment, and so was able to address specific concerns regarding my eye health as it relates to my other health conditions/medications. Additionally, his office staff were exceptionally patient and helpful as we worked through some insurance issues at check out. The office was clean, all the equipment sanitized in front of me before use, and I was in and out quickly. Great experience with this clinic.

I have not been to the eye doctor for a little over a year since I moved and my other doctor was no longer close by. I found this I clinic very close to my home here in Fort Worth. The staff is very friendly and helpful.The doctor is great! He has modern equipment and is up-to-date with everything you need to know about your eyes. He took his time and did a thorough exam and explained everything that he was doing as he did it. He went through all the different pictures and explain to me what everything meant. He didn’t rush me out of his office and listen to all my questions and more importantly answered them all.If you’re looking for an eye doctor I would highly recommend Southwest family eye Health Center in Fort Worth.

My son has been a patient of Dr. Loy’s for about a year. Dr. Loy did a through kid friendly exam. We discovered he had double vision. He sees Matt, the vision therapist, weekly. His double vision is almost gone. The people in the office are great with people of all ages. I highly recommend Dr. Loy and Matt for your vision needs.

The doctors office was clean and neat. They took care of us promptly at our appointment time. The Dr was very attentive and was able to diagnose the problem my kid was having. This was a problem that another eye doctor did not notice after we went to them twice because of a routine eye exam and them problems with the glasses we got. Overall this doctor is way more prepared, knowledgeable and up to date on what’s needed to take care of a persons eyes and vision. I will be taking my whole family here from now on. Great service great doctor and great explanations of problems and treatment.

I had my eyes check by Stellar Vision in Granbury, TX. Picked out my glasses. Picked them up tried them on and some thing was off. Instant headache and nausea. Looked up another Dr and found Southwest Family Eye. Had my eyes re-examined. Big difference! I will only trust my eyes to Southwest Eye the doctor listened to me and understood my special circumstances. This is my eye doctor now.

Dr Loy is great with my son. He explains everything and gives encouragement for my son to be proactive with his own health.

First of all I would like to say that I love the new place more convenient for me getting my husband in and out of the building by him being in a wheelchair they always make me feel comfortable and assured me there is hope my husband eyesight is getting better

I have been taking my daughter to Dr. Loy for the past 2 years or more and now my son. We can’t be more pleased with the expertise, professionalism and friendliness at Southwest Family Eye Health Center. Dr. Loy always answers my questions. He is knowledgeable of his work and does it with passion. All the people at Southwest Family eye health are just good people.

My son’s exam experience with Dr. Loy was great, but the office staff failed let us know in a timely manner that we were out of network. We repeatedly received text updates that our appointment was near, but never was contacted about us being out of network and would be charged more until after the actual exam. Services were rendered, my wife went to the counter to pay and then they informed her of being out of network and would have to pay more. Not SOP from what my wife says having worked in the industry before. I called asking to speak with an office manager or Dr. Loy about our experience, but never received a promised call back.

This is by far the best eye clinic I have been too. My daughter was diagnosed with intermittent exotropia and her pediatrician recommended an Opthalmologist who suggested eye surgery and patching. None of that worked so I decided to go a different route and came here. Dr Loy was absolutely amazing..he really knows how to talk to kids and it seems like he really cares for his patient. He recommended vision therapy and we started therapy with Matt at this clinic. Words can’t define how professional Matt is.. with his knowledge and tools my daughters eyes look almost perfect now after only 8 sessions. Highly recommend the kind and professional team her. Dr Loy and staff are capable and friendly. Today I had an extra exam that produced a high resolution image of my retina to look for signs of macular degeneration. Dr Loy kindly shared the image with me and explained what we were looking at clearly. That, along with other tests helped me feel confident I had received the most thorough exam ever.

Weve been seeing Dr. Loy for weekly vision therapy sessions for the past 6 weeks (my 4-year-old daughter has a strabismus). From our initial consultation Ive been impressed with how knowledgeable, professional and personable Dr. Loy is and how well run his clinic seems to be. Weve never waited more than a few minutes to be seen and Dr. Loy is completely engaged in leading my daughter through therapy exercises during every minute of the hour were there. There is no wasted time! Hes patient and encouraging with my daughter and keeps me informed about what hes doing and why hes doing it. He seems to really enjoy what he does and Im confident he will do all he can to help my daughters vision. Id highly recommend Dr. Loy and Southwest Family Eye Health Center! Im really glad we found them.

Did not tell me my insurance wasn’t in their network until after the appointment. I’m not sure if this is common practice for them, but a fair business would know that most people don’t see doctors who aren’t in their network. I do not recommend this office.

Dr. Loy is very knowledgeable and patient with my family. We started seeing him for my oldest son who was born with strabismus and had surgery when he was 6months old. Unfortunately, his eye surgeon at the time didnt believe in vision therapy, so we found Dr. Loy. He has helped come up with a plan to stabilize his eyes and get them working together. We are starting vision therapy next month! So excited to watch my sons progress.
