My wife and I are self employed and have been for over the past 40 years with 9 very successful corporations and a few patents, our clients and the people they service is how we pay our bills.When looking over reviews, Ill read the negative ones 1st. 99% are written without considering the reason the experience went South to begin with.Blaming the dealership for a manufacturing issue is ignorant and malicious. We have purchased top brand vehicles over the years and to compare the buying and the later services we received from Sewell Lexus of Fort Worth was far beyond any other dealers from Texas to New York to California.Sewell Lexus Fort Worth totally takes the trophy for customer relations and atmosphere. The folks are informative and and gracious that we did business with them, right down to the guy who changes our oil and back to the beginning when we first met the sales agent.It is sad that this world has so many miserable people that the only way that can survive until the next day is to make others that they come in contact with as miserable as they are.I sensed that the staff at Sewell Lexus Fort worth are at peace and are focused on being positive and moving forward with a better tomorrow.It is because of that feeling that we experienced when being at the dealership is why I read these negatives within this reviews post and chose to swing back and defend this company and the people who earn a living by pleasantly dealing with the good the bad and the ugly.I highly recommend Sewell Lexus Fort Worth, my referral is accredited because over the past 40 years of owning multiple companies that was listed with the Better Business Association, and all were listed as A+ Accredited companies which validates my personal recommendation.
They were alright but when I took the car in for maintenance they didnt clean it so was a little disappointed.
Freaking AMAZING! Arrived close to closing time I was treated very well they were very patient with my family we didnt get out of there until 11:00 p.m. I am really impressed with this dealership. The salesman and the finance guy (I wish I remembered their names) were awesome! Thank you for your patience with us being there so late. You guys are awesome you took the time to even speak to my 14 year old son who was with us which I really appreciate! Everyone is quick to find answers and helpful. The location has an excellent selection of desirable models. I appreciated the customer service experience and will certainly be stopping back for future needs. They even washed my LX 470 which was in desperate need from my recent cross country trip. My only complaint was that the oil change I got was for 0W-30 conventional oil when I assumed it would be the standard 5W-30 full synthetic I’m accustomed to. However that is not a reflection on the dealership experience at all but rather a fault towards me for not be specific. My wife and I took our car there for maintenance. We were made to wait and ignored. WHATS THE POINT IN SETTING AN APPOINTMENT? Get it together and do NOT EVER WASTE MY TIME AGAIN! I will never do business with this service center again...this is ridiculous.
I just popped in with no appointment looking for my wife’s birthday gift I was immediately introduced to Mark and he got the process rolling smoothly and quickly. Within a few hours Mark and Sean had everything ready, they even put the big red bow on the car as it was a gift. Very dissappointed with the recent service. Took wifes car in to get new tires. When driving it home from service, i noticed the tire pressure warning light was on and giving no tire pressure. Took the car back and they would not fix it without charging me $200. It is quite the coincidence that the tire pressure sensor would stop working the moment i drive out after the tires were replaced when it was working fine when i took it in. Sewell: you guys need to be responsible for your work. we have been loyal customers for many years and its not good business to treat customers like this over $200.
Excellent experience from the meet and greet from the sales mgr.when I arrived, to the wonderful customer service by my sales rep, Trong Huynh and the finance mgr. I was there maybe an hour. Best experience ever buying a car. Excited to have my oil changed. After touring the coffee bar and lounge area.
If I could leave a 0 star I would. I recently moved to the DFW area and I went to have my brakes looked at and found out the front and rear brakes and rotors needed replaced. No problem. The service agent called and provided the quoted price and said the car could be picked up the next day and theyd provide a rental until then. They then called back the next day and said the caliber bolt broke off on the passenger rear and I’d need to pay an additional $1,850 to replace the entire part even though the bolt is all that needed fixed. Bolts don’t just break and they couldn’t explain that and tried to blame it on wherever my car was serviced before and said it was not the mechanics fault but there is no way to verify that. If it was an accident it was an accident but I find it hard to believe that they were able to fix the front and rear passenger on the other side no problem but this one somehow broke off. I take excellent care of my vehicle and have owned several Lexus’s and never had these kinds of issues. They agreed to knock the pricing down (which was still not reasonable because the part wasn’t even needed but it was the only way to fix everything and leave with a drive able vehicle) on the part but that was only after calling and coming in to look at the car and talk to the Director to the service department about what happened. If I wouldn’t have asked any questions I would have paid well over $3,000 with no real explanation of what happened and everything just going back to “well it was probably whoever serviced your car before…” that’s completely unacceptable and is a total blame game instead of helping the customer understand what’s going on. I will NOT return for any future services and I will not recommend to any one I know.

I really want to love this service department. The used car sales department is phenomenal. The service- not so much. Sure they greet me by name when I arrive but this is the second time I’ve dropped off my car by 9:00am and am still waiting at 5:00pm for it to be completed after being promised a pick up time of 3:30. I called to check on it, waited about an hour for a call back from Alex and finally drove to the dealership only to discover that my car isn’t ready AND I get to wait an additional 30 minutes. Over-scheduling? Poor time management? I don’t know but if I were responsible for this failure, I would want to know why it continues to happen.
Update...Let me share a recent experience that turned out shockingly FANTASTIC!We were getting maintenance done, and had a loaner car. My son accidentally left his wallet w/ $$$ in it upon returning the vehicle. Went back two days later, wallet was there with all the cash! Unheard of these days!!! We were so happy. Another reminder why weve always put our trust in Sewell.

We had an amazing stress-free experience buying our vehicle at Sewell Fort Worth with our salesman Andrew Flynn. Andrew was incredibly attentive, kind, and knowledgeable. We did a somewhat unusual deal, where we traded in 3 of our vehicles and purchased a new vehicle. Andrew and the team adeptly navigated that process and made our experience seamless. The day we picked up our new vehicle, Andrew had several deals going simultaneously. Even though I could tell he was busy, he made sure to check in on us frequently and update us on what was going on behind the scenes (paperwork, etc) and I never felt neglected or that I was waiting needlessly. I was impressed with how he was able to juggle the different customers he was working with while still being very attentive to us! He helped us get our new car set up and then followed up with us a few days later to make sure we had no new concerns. All around, a fantastic and pleasant car buying experience, we will definitely be coming back to Andrew for future vehicles!

I have been here a couple of times for different things with my Lexus. Two recall experiences and one normal maintenance experience. It has been about a year since the last time I’ve been (I live in Waco). I forgot to leave a review, so I am now. Best customer service I have ever dealt with regarding a car dealership. They will help you in any way that they can. They also take great care of your car while it is there and everyone is very friendly. I had one issue after picking my car up one of the times and talked to the manager about it and they took care of it. Wish they had a dealership in Waco!

I am so pleased to say what I wonderful experience I had today buying my first car on my own with Sam as the dealer and Russ in finance teaming together to make what started out as a hectic day end in total harmony. Everything was explained in detail and without pressure. When my beloved 2003 Toyota broke down today forcing my hand to make a huge decision, Sam went the extra mile to get me at my place, bring me to the dealership, and even ensured I wasn’t hungry. My evening was topped off with flowers in my new vehicle just for the fact that they knew I was having a bad day and was going through this process without a support system. I even got to personally meet the manager as he congratulated me on my new purchase. We bought a used Lexus IS250 from a dealership in Dallas and before we made it home, the check engine light came on. We took our car to Sewell because we trusted the work would be done properly, even if it was a bit more expensive. We worked with Tim Burton and he was friendly and responsive. After the initial diagnosis, he presented recommendations for our vehicle. It was too costly to complete everything recommended so we did not go with all of the suggestions. Even still, our requests were completed timely and our vehicle is running smoothly with no lighy. Highly recommended.

BEWARE-they want to claim they are all about customer service, they are NOT!They tried making a FALSE claim for $10,000. Originally for a hail claim window against my insurance without my knowledge on a loaner car! 10k for a windshield? Well, they did falsely get 8k from my insurance unbeknownst to me...And then tried collecting my $500.00 deductible from me which isn’t allowed in Texas per state law per my insurance. Shouldn’t Sewell already know this?? How many other “customers” have you done this to? I have talked to the GM at Ft Worth and the Collision Manager and all deny wrong doing....I, and my family have been repeat customers twice but not again.SHAME ON YOU SEWELL LEXUS!!!!!

The customer service I received at Sewell Lexus on Bryant Irvin is remarkable! Tim Bae, my salesperson assisted me in getting out of my old car and into a newer one that better fit my needs and made sure the buying process went smoothly. Christian Hunter was also very helpful in the process as well. Overall, Tim was an outstanding salesman and I will definitely be returning to him in the future and urging many others to buy from him as well.
This dealership sold me a used Lexus NX300 2018 it had 18k miles. It has been in my possession for 1 year (increase of 8k miles). When I took my car in to have the 25K mile check up they did the routine service. When the service person contacted me they said they would recommend getting 3 tires. Remember this car is a 2018 only has 26K miles. It was noted that 3 of the tires had low tread measuring a 4 which is not a safety issue at this time. However the 4th tire had measured a 10. Hummmm..???? So I’m no expert but I’m not sure how 3 tires could have a measurement of 4 with 26k miles. I talked with the service rep and no help!! Just stating that it’s not a safety issue. Then I talked with the sales person Sam and he was absolutely no help. I’m not sure why he would be interested in helping because he was more interested in selling cars instead of servicing prior customers. He even responded to my text with that response. He was very busy with people back to back. Bottom line I received no help with my situation. Lexus states they provide great customer service and sells you that motto when you purchase a car. However they do Not live up to their lip service. I was very disappointed. I realize it was a used car but I have Never had to buy tires for a car I purchased 1 year later. So BEWARE!!I also found out that in order to be certified the tires had to measure a minimum of a 5. So the tires were at the minimum tread level when they sold it to me. They did not let me know furthermore there was 1 tire that was a 10 brand new. Ok 1 tire a 10 3 tires a 5 hummm what a joke!! They have not been willing to compromise or work with me. Shysters!! If you purchase a used tire be sure you take your tread measurement tool and check the tires too!!

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!My fiancé and I are travel nurses driving my 17 year old Lexus GX470 across the country from Atlanta to California today when my alternator went out unexpectedly while passing through Fort Worth. We were trying to make a 30 hr trip in two days and, although I swear by its dependability, my suv is a 2004 and we were pushing it pretty hard. I called the local Lexus dealership at almost 6pm, explained our situation, and with minimal effort they had us in a loaner vehicle and promised to put us back on the road asap. As we started to drive away, my fiancé said, Do you realize we were watching videos of this 2021 Lexus this morning and now were SITTING in it?! It was a wow moment for us.Before we had even been gone 10 minutes, Devin called to say they had already run the tests on our vehicle, it was indeed the alternator, and the technician was staying late to fix it so that we could get back on the road first thing in the morning and make it to our nursing assignment in California on time. Our 2007 IS350 which we purchased new has always been serviced at Sewell due in large part by the 11, yes eleven recalls we have had on the car. Not sure that I want another Lexus after 11 recalls, but the people at Sewell have always done their best to mitigate the interruptions in our daily life. The services that have been paid for out of pocket have been expensive, but as they say you get what you pay for.

I brought in my 2010 IS250 with 147k miles because it wasnt starting and was beyond the scope of what my normal mechanic could fix. Sewell called me back and said the engine was blown. They offered to put a used engine in for $9000 or open the old engine to diagnose (not fix) for $3000. They called and offered me $200 for my car, saying that they could only sell it an auction!I didnt feel right about all of this and had my car towed to Pratt Lexus in Benbrook. Pratt determined that it was FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR and fixed it for $900. Its now working great! Something is VERY wrong with this whole picture. ... a dealer misdiagnosing and then offering me $200 for a car worth 7-10k if running. Nice people, good coffee, but something is very wrong. Wont be taking my car back again.

My wife and I stopped by sewell fort worth on our way to another dealership that had already approved us for a good deal. Upon arriving at Sewell Fort Worth we were greeted by a seemingly friendly young man who immediately started showing us the car we were looking at. The car is a 2008 Lexus ES350 with 96k miles. We asked if we needed to replace the timing belt and he answered that the timing belt has been replaced at 90k. Well i did my own research later on and found that this car doesnt have a timing belt but has a timing chain which should last the life of the car. Which tells me he really doesnt know the car he is selling too well. He worked with me for about 2 days trying to match the other dealership. Finally Yesterday i get a phone call from him and started his conversation with I have good news for you! and he started listing over the phone what his financing department agreed to offer me. I wrote everything down and told him that i liked what he offered and will be there around 6pm that day. We got there at 6pm and he started pushing toward us paperwork to sign that were different from what he offered over the phone that day. The rate was higher, the loan term was shorter and the payment was higher. His excuse was that he was processing several deals and got confused and may have given me different information. Boloney. So i told him we were not interested and left them quickly. I thought that the old bait and switch scheme was a thing of the past but NO!!! Its alive and well at Sewell Fort Worth. Big disappointment!Of all the dealership i thought that Sewell would have higher standards than the average dealership since they represent such a prestigious brand but unfortunately it wasnt the case. I should have researched them before setting foot in their building.

Tim, her salesperson, was so very helpful, kind and patient as she made her decision. Russ in Finance walked her through the process, taking time to explain things clearly, without being pushy or aggressive. With Covid-19, the dealership had many safety precautions in place to to protect customers and employees. I couldnt have asked for a better first-time buying experience for her! Really negative experience purchasing my car at the end of my lease. Made to feel as if I did something wrong by coming in to write them a 27k check. The finance manager walked over to me and didn’t even introduce himself. This was not the Sewell experience they talk about. I specifically called the day prior to ask if I needed an appointment and they said no. I was made to feel as I was a burden the entire time I was there. Very disappointing.
My family and I recently purchased a new Lexus RX 350 from Jim Hooper. We had an extremely positive and professional interaction with Jim and are very satisfied with the car and the price we paid for it. We drove all the way from Cincinnati just to do business here and it was worth the trip. All the employees were wearing masks and the car had been sanitized prior to our arrival. What I appreciate most is that I bought a preowned and relatively inexpensive vehicle, yet Lance and the team treated me like I was buying a brand new, top of the line Lexus. My mother Patsy bought a Lexus RX350 in Jan but unfortunately it was totaled in October. I contacted Austin Musselman to let him know that my Mom would be in the market for another RX350. Austin got right on the job and low and behold, we got a new one and she loves it. We found what she wanted in Dallas and Austin drove to Dallas so we wouldnt have to and that was truly a blessing. She purchased a 2015 Lexus RX350 w/Navigation and she loves it. Im so Thankful for Austin being so patient with us. He was so sweet and very knowledgeable of course. She is a Sewell Lexus customer for life and yall owe that to Austin (lol)

My friend was driving with her daughter to Arizona and broke down on route 30 just west of Fort Worth. I told her to call AAA and ask for a tow asap. I live in Pennsylvania but after I got off of the phone with her, I called Sewell Lexus and talked to Tim Burton and explained her situation. He was extremely helpful in securing a loaner for her since it was already 4:00 pm. Tim called me the next day to go over what was the problem and he even called the warranty company to see what they would cover. Chuck the service manager called to make sure everything went well. I spent 20 years in the car business and I would highly recommend the Sewell Lexus service department to anyone who lives in the DFW area. If you have a wife or a daughter, buy them a Lexus if you want the peace of mind to know they will be taken care of like a family member.
I inquired about a Hyundai Equus they had in stock. One of there salespeople Gavin reached out to me immediately. He did an outstanding job from beginning to end . When I need my next car will definitely go back.
Originally planned on just getting an oil change but service advisor recommended a 25,000 mile routine car maintenance and I said sure. Total came out to be more than $300 and I wasnt told this beforehand. Overall, service was ok but the people who work at this Lexus dealership are too pushy with trying to make you buy something whether it be additional service or tires.

After being rear ended by a stranger in my favorite Lexus and haggling with a Plano/Grand Prairie Lexus Dealer (that shall not be named) I sent an email to the Fort Worth Sewell Lexus dealership and Michael Soriano responded. I had my brand new Lexus wo any hassle within 24 hours. The staff was extremely friendly and the thank you mail from Dennis was a nice touch. I recently went to this dealership to get an appraisal to sell my car. The adjuster made false claims about the history (hood replaced etc) of my vehicle; he also gave a terrible quote and argued with me about the history of my car!! Besides that, Lexus still has decent customer service

Amazing service! Austin offered me top of the line help saving me money on the repairs of my car. Everyone was so polite and helpful, taking time to make sure I understood every single detail. He called me to update me on the status of the work when there was a change and Austin returned my calls in a reasonable time frame. They offered coffee and pastries while waiting and washed my car for me afterwards. It looked like they cleaned the inside too. Thats the type of service I want to come back to. Thank you Austin and everyone who helped me with my car!

Sewell is synonymous with superior service. Dirwin, Devyn and Daniel in the service department are the reasons why I will not drive anything except Lexus.
This is where I take my car. Large waiting room. Clean inside and out. The coffee/hot chocolate machine always clean and working. Pastries and cookies usually available. Wake time is good.
