Bad service, they should tell you about wait times. Went in with an appointment to get oil changed; the lobby was mostly empty. After 40 minutes my car was still untouched in the parking lot so I asked if they’d be able to attend to it soon. They told me it would be at least 1.5 hrs before they could start on it. I would have rescheduled if they were open and honest about the wait, but they weren’t so I took my business elsewhere.
Thanks a lot. This is why I change my own oil. I came to you out of convenance because I had to move suddenly with the military… Your office staff was great and I appreciate the discount however your techs don’t install one of the hex screws, the rest you torque making it impossible for me to change my own oil in the future and random bolt in place of another? Maybe bump the wages up (Firestone probably sales enough tires) train them and don’t 5k down the road do this to people.
This 5 star rating is for the Mechanic named Dixon. Dixon took time to show me the play in the front end of my truck. Greatly appreciate his helpfulness and professionalism. However the service manager telling me (or allowing me to be told) that I needed 2600 dollars worth of front end parts and labor when I had a tire with tread separation is definitely ZERO stars.
Hello,I highly suggest that your store list on its Google/Yelp and phone message that you open up at 8a and not 7a. I got there at 7a and tried to call the store number and other Firestones to see what time the location opens. I went up to the door and there was a sign that stated the COVID hours changed to an 8a Saturday opening and not 7a.When 8a rolled around, people who were waiting around and the few who just got there flooded the entrance and the receiving desk crew just took people as they came in and did not discern who was waiting. That was disappointing because that cost me another hour in the alignment service of my car. Not cool but I will roll with punches. I got the lifetime alignment for my vehicle but the way that this was handled by reception and the lack of digital communication, I do not plan oncoming back to this Firestone location.I have put in a request with Google to have the opening times change so that other customers do not experience the same occurrence like the handful of customers did this early Saturday morning.
Very friendly service. I definitely recommend this Firestone location. Repaired my leaking tire for free; as well as checked fluids, battery, etc.
Horrible, A/C stopped working, Bought it to them they “Fixed” it then it goes back out not even a week later so I take it back up there then they tell me it’s something else and want me to pay ANOTHER $800… why I got to pay double for something they didn’t catch the FIRST time ..? so I took it somewhere else and they fixed it right for half the price. I never leave reviews but I literally got scammed out of $800
I went today around 2:45pm for a oil change and the clerk told me they will be closing at 5:00pm due memorial day. And they were not doing oil changes. He offered me to make an appointment for tomorrow, which I said no. Usually I dont give one star reviews, but this location is one of the worst. Save your time and go somewhere else. Definitely I would NOT recommend this location to anyone.
I have been going to the Firestone located at 1001 Bridgewood Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76112. I have the lifetime alignment program with them and I have been complaining that their alignment program is not working. In the fall of 2018 I got 4 new tires from them as well as an alignment multiple times. I was heading to Houston this past weekend and once I arrived I had a slow leak in my RR tire. I took it to Discount Tire and that is when I saw the worst looking tires I have ever seen. The back right tire had NO tread in the middle of the tire. The two front tires wore down to the metal on the insides, etc. All 4 tires had to be replaced. The brand of tire that was used by Firestone had never been heard of by Discount Tire. The quality if this tire was rated for 50K miles and they did not even last 8-9 months. I am not sure if your alignment machines are not calibrated correctly, or you sold me junk tires, but either way, I had to spend $540.00 to get 4 new tires and I want a refund for my tires I purchased from you. I also want someone from corporate to see if the alignment machine is calibrated or not at your location. At this point, I believe this location is run by either crooked or incompetent people, I am not sure which. I have pictures of each tire, the tread wear and the date on these tires. Ask yourself if tires should look like this after 8 months if you get proper alignments and quality tires from Firestone.
I heard yall can fix stuff, but can yall fix my life
They are awesome and have great service
Great service very kind and helped us with our tires
Fast service, good prices, honest mechanic. Cant ask for much more from an auto shop.
They took care of everything in about 45 minutes, professional courteous staff.
WASTE OF MONEY, POOR WORK QUALITY, this store replaced my fuel pump and in the process damage the new fuel pump, broke components on my vehicle, fail to position fuel line back into holder and cost me hours of time, gas from driving to Firestone to rectify the service and the indirect cost of very poor fuel economy and several days without a vehicle due to improper installation of my fuel pump. Also the bad customer service and the people at the store lying to me.In 2016 I got my fuel pump replaced at this location due to leaking gas on a recall from GM that didnt cover my vin. Firestone installed the new pump but smash the fuel line attached to the pump, by not placing it into the groves on the tank for the lines. Instead the left it out and it got crush between the tank and car letting maybe 20% fuel to the engine. Of course the computer adjusted this lack of pressure by increasing fuel to meet the engine demands, this in turn cause premature fuel pump failure and the symptoms got worst, the first 15 months or so you didnt really notice it unless you would accelerate hard, the engine would stall to the point of almost turning off, sputter and get very bad gas mileage. It wasnt until this year that the problem was noticeable on normal driving, then around March of this year I finally got a code set P0171, it took this whole time from taking it to various places to get the lean condition checked out with no luck. I didnt suspect it was my fuel pump as it was the newest component on my car until last month because I knew it was a firestone aftermarket, I didnt hear the spray sound when my car was on from the pump, and it would perform better with a full tank of gas. After testing the pump I found it was bad on 24psi.When i got ready to install the new pump, as soon as I look under the car I seen a broke emissions line, and broken wire harness holder and my fuel line not put back in place. After dropping the tank I found the root cause, the line was smashed and also when I replace the pump Firestone cut my fuel pump cable with an aftermarket wire harness so I couldnt even use the new OEM pump, also couldnt reconnect it as the emission line connector was also damaged. My car was down for several days because of this now im waiting on a new cable. Firestone took no responsibility for the the bad work and wants to rig my car up with quick fix solutions like tape and zip ties, i want it the way it was before they broke it.
If I can give a ZERO. I would. I was treated so rude from the moment I came in, as if I was a bother to them. Another thing I made an appointment for an oil change and only a oil change at 430pm. It is now 520pm and my car is still sitting in the parking lot.My only suggestion is have your coordinator schedule accurately. I get it were all busy but having too wait for an hour or more for a simple oil change is insane. Maybe, if your customer service representative knew how to schedule properly. I probably wouldnt be writing a negative review.SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BUSINESSES INSTEAD.
Manager is great. the appointment terms dont really matter because you will be waiting but they do have the chairs spaced-out to social distance. It was not clean and that is important. it was early when I was there so its either did not get cleaned in the morning or the night crew did not bother
Great service very professional and they honored their warranty no questions asked. I will definitely use them again
Great place for wheel alignments.Ask about lifetime warranty. It costs a little more but its worth it.
Nice clean atmosphere as well as very friendly and helpful staff. First time here I will be back.
Was seeking a battery and they were able to accommodate the need and was very friendly. Ill be sure thi be back.
Not long ago, a large piece of my cars undercarriage was hanging down and dragging on the street. Took my car to Firestone on Bridgewood Dr. They fixed it, did a great job, and in a reasonable amount of time. And since it was an easy repair, requiring only a few small parts, they didnt even charge me for it. Ive taken my car there many times over the years and they have always done a great job at a fair price, and in reasonable time. Many thanks to you guys at Firestone on Bridgewood Dr.
I had some issues getting my Chevy Cruze PASS-ready for my yearly inspection. Mr Perry Jackson was extremely helpful in explaining the issues I had to have repaired. The parts needed were ordered and installed quickly. My follow up visit, where I was handled by the other front desk man (handsome, tall brunette gentleman whose name I didnt catch),was equally pleasant. I was offered alternative products for installation when the recommended ones where out of stock getting me back on the road FAST! This is a very nice location. The techs were all very helpful and respectful and everyone seemed to have a good positive energy. Ill be back for my next inspection,or any other vehicle issue I may have. Thanks guys.
Exceptional customer service! My husband and I have used this Firestone for both of our vehicles for the past three years. Terry and his team have always communicated well and taken care of us whether our cars are in for a simple oil change or engine-light diagnosis. We will continue to come back!
Theyre pretty fast if you get there early in the morning.
Had to wait over 4 hours to change a boot on my car. It took an hour and a half for them to take the boot off the car. Then 30 minutes for them to tell me they didnt have the right boot. I would take another hour for the part to get the store & another hour to put it on. All the while the workers ate cake & conversated amongst themselves. I mean if you have all that extra help, shouldnt someone go pick up the part. There were several customers there, who kept asking when their vehicle would be ready. But the cake & celebrating continued.
I Im no longer taking my car to them if I can avoid it... as I was driving my brake pad fell off the car very scary experience.... I also did not really get compensated for the situation to the full extent that I thought I should have gotten.... They also ripped my husband off he wind up having to take his car somewhere else to get repairs done that he had asked them to do...
Completely trustworthy service and excellent workmanship. As a single female, I dont always encounter honest mechanics, but these guys are the real deal. Their prices are reasonable too. Ive actually never gotten tires here for whatever reason, but I do trust them completely when it comes to car service and repair. Not to mention, these guys are the friendliest in town! They have my business for life.
Not Recommended at all. NOT RELIABLE AT ALL + THEY ARE OVER PRICED
Helpful and quality service. A different shop that worked on my car claimed that the last shop that took my tires off, which would have been this Firestone, stripped a bolt. Firestone was going to fix it without a problem but when they went to take off the wheel they found out there wasnt even a stripped bolt. A straight forward honest shop like this one is much appreciated, especially when they are many less than honest shops out there.
Slow service, if you want things on time, find a different shop. Had an appointment waited 5 hours for an oil change and alignment. Only got the oil change done. Not sure why it took 5 hours for an oil change when an appointment was made in advance. Would not recommend this place.Update:Staff did not charge for the oil change due to bad service. Second star added.
Had my oil changed here on one occasion and my tire had a hole repaired on another occasion. I would recommend to make an appointment for an oil change or come in early when they open up as the wait times can increase to a couple hours as the day progressed. The oil change was reasonable at $40 dollars for 0W-20 which is a lot better than $90 at the place next door. With regards to the tire repair, the technician was nice and the price was reasonable. The repair took like 15 minutes. I give it 4 Stars as it gets busy as I mentioned before.
I had brakes and rotors put on at the Northeast mall location in 04/2017. They were not done properly and had a horrible squeak every time I touched the brakes. I took it to the location on Bridgewood and Perry the Manager redid the brakes and rotors. The squeak diminished some, but was still there. It is now 08/18 and the squeak is horrible again. I took it back to Perry and he took care of it once again. This location is always very busy and I see why.....they are awesome!!I really appreciate them taking care of me and not giving me the run around. I am in Grand Prairie, and still drive over there because they have great service there. Very satisfied and I highly recommend them!
This Firestone location has been servicing my vehicles over the past 18 years. They are excellent when it comes to auto repairs and customer service. I am always treated fairly here. May God bless these people for all the good work they do.
Able to fix the car right the first time three times has been back possibly maybe fix maybe not
Had a bad tire on the RV on a Sunday. Was taken care of very professionally. Ryan is one of the best customer service people I have ever dealt with. Busy place but comfortable waiting area with coffee.
My experience with Firestone has been awful. I arrived at 9:00 am for a state inspection/oil change. I figured, I would be done with everything by 10:30-10:45 since there was only 1 person there who also needed a state inspection (and no other cars in the garage being serviced). After turning over my keys, I noticed both of the mechanics on their phone 1 in the garage and the other, at the front of the building. Needless to say, my car wasn’t pulled into the garage until around 9:17-9:20. At 11:20 am the clerk informs me that 1 of my tires would need to be changed to pass inspection and that it would take an additional 20 minutes. I agree because I wasn’t willing to pay for a failed inspection. At 12:10 they complete everything and I got my bill which was $167 w/a coupon for $10 off the oil change.Pros: TV to pass the time, free coffee (I didn’t drink it but it’s there, clean facilityCons: service time (3hrs & 10 minute for an oil change, inspection, & 1 tire change), Pricing is higher than what I’ve paid in the past at other car shops ($167).
I had my wind shield wiper motors fixed and December of 2019. During the repair far stone broke my wind shield by accident. They promised to pay for the expense and even set me up with Safe Light glass. Now I have received several bills from safe light glass saying I owe them for $400 plus dollars for the windshield. I have called the Firestone store and received an email showing I owe no money to Firestone or Safe Light. Now I am turned over to a collections agency because apparently safe light glass or far stone cant get their story straight. This is not my fault and Firestone has not resolved the problem after a very long time. Wont buy ther again.
My tire blew out on highway on way to work and when I was towed in here the service was awesome and very friendly I was taken care of fairly fast for last min repair I was only a hour late for work highly recommend
They try to scam you. They tested my battery and said it is highly recommended to change it as it may fail soon. Gave me scary report. Right after that i wen to walmart to get my battery checked it was in excellent condition than i went to auto zone it was in excellent condition. I dont know how to upload the pictures of the report here but this FIRESTONE is complete SCAM!!!!!
Great service good prices. In and out fast
My girlfriend takes her truck here and they are very professional and courteous in the services they provide
Were here trying to fix a flat tire on my BMW X6. The manager said they cant fix it because of their Firestone policy. My husband try to explain her we need to get home so we need to buy the $540 tire, she offers us, in English because he doesnt speak very well and she smiles sarcastically so my husband gives her an apology for his bad english. So then she said, no your ok. We feel very uncomfortable and still have to wait for the tire. Its the worst store we visited since we live here.
I had a flat and drove to firestone and they said they dont sell used tires which i think is crazy because everyone cant afford a new tire. But they went out their way to put a tire on where i went somewhere else to purchase. They unbent my rim i bent a little driving on it. They got me fixed up and outta there in good time
They try to run your bill up with all sorts of nonsense because they make commission by selling parts. Then they throw out words like, “lifetime brake pads” and “never worry again” which is actually a lie.Came in for brake pads and to re-mill ONE rotor and they want to redo entire brake system for $1,000(replace BOTH front calipers and sell me TWO new rotors) then claim anything less would be a liability and against store policy.Taking my and my family’s business elsewhere...forever.EDIT: Found a place nearby to re-mill the rotor and new brake pads for $130.
I have been going to this Firestone store for 16 years. Service is fast, well done, affordable and the waiting area is spotless. Coffee is good. All personnel are friendly and welcoming.
Very great customer service never have any problems good place to bring your car if you have problems they are always friendly an willing to help an prices are always affordable. THANKS FIRESTONE
Went in to get my tire plugged.... They plugged it. No extra stuff.... No upsell... Just did what I asked.
Ryan and Tim were amazing, honest and fast. This will be my shop of choice moving forward
Good quick service and easy to use coupons. Staff was nice and attentive. Finished earlier than was told.
My experience with this place was that the manager was unprofessional. I came in to get two tires replaced. I asked what the wait time would be, and the manager then asked me, how much time do you have?. I said that it would be good to be done within the hour. About one and a half hours in, the manager was talking on the phone, and I had planned to confront him after he got off the phone. However, another frustrated customer (who had apparently had a similar experience on the prior day) beat me to it. Though this customer had arrived after me, they fixed his tire first. I finally left after two and a half hours, and it would have been longer if I hadnt complained. I will not return.
We have used this Firestone for over 8 years. Always professional, never sell you extra unneeded stuff. Its a busy place, so dont be in a hurry, but it is worth it. We have 3- cars that are serviced here regularly, and the prices are really good.
Low on man power
I always receive excellent service at a fair price at Firestone. I highly recommend them for any of your vehicle maintenance needs.
I pulled up to get air in my tire. Do you know they kept standing there like what. I asked can i get air it still took a while. I just left and went to discount tires
These guys work at a snails pace absolutely no sense of urgency at all. Will never come here again.3 hours to rotate tires when employees are walking around with a lost look on there face is BS
Very friendly helpful employees. Wish I had known about this location earlier. Best experience with Firestone ...
The customer care is good but very expensive?
Stood in line 20min, never even greeted or acknowledged
Employees helpful and friendly. I had to get a new tire. Quick service and good price.
I walked in needing a buy four new tires and stood at the counter... for 20 minutes. Several of the employees glanced at me and went on to chatting, working as a slow pace, or just walking around. One customer was fast asleep in the waiting area and they had three garage bays empty. Looked like about 5 people on the clock. After 20 minutes of waiting and feeling completely ignored, I walked out. As I got to me car, one of the employees stood with his hands out as if you ask what?!. If you dont want my business that bad, you will not get it.
The service I received getting my tire replaced was great. But the all season tire I purchased tore within about a month of installation. Good staff but terrible tire quality.
Theyre always courteous and pretty fast with their service!
Took a car here to be checked out and the manager knew his stuff. Helped my wife and I make a decision as to whether or not we should buy that particular car. The car still runs great
Always get my car done in a reasonable time.
Every time I come here, the first words spoken by Firestone employees are that they are short handed and it will take longer than usual. They never seem to have enough people working at any time. On this occasion I was there for an inspection. I was told it would be 30 minutes to 45 minutes before it would be finished. One hour later my car is still waiting in the parking lot and not moved into a bay. After asking the status I was told they do not give preference to inspections and vehicles needing inspections go into the regular rotation of first come first served. Other places have an on site person doing inspections only because inspections do not take long and it requires the tech to be certified....but this place lets the certified tech for inspections do other service work and that drives a normal 20 to 40 minute job for inspections to hours of waiting needlessly. Poor human resource management at this location.
You are better off going down the street to valvoline
Customer service was rude. Walked in while two workers were there at the desk. Furthermore, I was the only customer in the store. The two workers didnt look up to acknowledge me, the customer. I had to speak first to get their attention. Even when I got their attention their demeanor was dry and unfriendly. Wont be going back to this store branch ever again.
Their time estimates were fairly accurate and great customer service
Update 5/8/2018:I was sold a lifetime alignment on my 1983 Chevrolet K10 back in February of 2018. Alignment was performed then, no issues. I had new tires installed and replaced tie rods and shock absorbers, so I needed to get it aligned again on Monday, May 7th 2018. I made an appointment for 2:30 that afternoon and brought my vehicle in at around 2:00, just to be on the safe side of time. Once they pulled my vehicle into the bay, a Firestone employee asked me if I had recently installed a lift kit on the vehicle... I had not. I purchased the vehicle in February as it sits now. She told me that they shouldnt have sold me an alignment on the vehicle in the first place, much less a lifetime alignment, because they dont work on lifted or lowered vehicles. My vehicle sits 2 higher than it did from the factory, due to the thicker replacement leaf springs that were installed before I purchased the vehicle. They agreed to do the alignment (and on this vehicle, you can only adjust the toe and steering wheel alignment) and when I received the vehicle, the steering wheel was off center. I dont have time to bring it back to have them fix it, so Ill have to do it myself. The only reason I started going to Firestone was for alignments, since thats the one thing that I cant precisely do at my home. I have had multiple vehicles aligned at this particular Firestone, with great results every time, with this past time being the exception. Probably wont be back.Original Review:Hands down the best service I have seen. Brought my old truck in for an alignment, and the tech did the work perfectly. He had the know how to align a vehicle as old as mine and did not try to upsale me on parts. I will bring the rest of my vehicles to this location.
Just a visit
Wonderful experience! Had an appointment and only waited 1 HR....awesome!!!!
I dont do business on a personal level with this company, do your own research about Firestone in the past.
Great service and all smiles the team was very helpful.
5 stars. I only go to this place to get my oil changed.
Over priced and it took them 5 hours to check my ac in my car. Not happy at all
I was told that I needed a new air filter, when I had just replaced it 2 weeks before. Being mislead by their first recommendation, I also declined to have a Brake Inspection based on their opinion that the Master Cylinder Fluid Level was low. The Courtesy Check was not fully completed as well. Finally, the Battery Check Results receipt was dated 11/27/2019 at 10:48AM, when my service was performed on 12/3/19. Very disappointed.
Brought my Ford F-250 Super Duty in for a broken serpentine belt after being quoted $125. I was told the vehicle would be ready in two days. However, after two days had passed I received a call informing me they would need to charge more as the belt tensioner needed to be replaced as well (i.e. no work had been done on my truck). Unfortunately, the new quoted price of $600+ was not something I could afford. I informed the employee I did not think this price was going to work and I would call back when I had more information. The next day, I placed a request with AAA and had them pick up my truck from this location. Upon examining my truck I noticed that not only was the engine light now on, but there was also a scratch extending across the right side of my cab. I confronted an employee about the engine light (This was prior to noticing the cosmetic damage). The employee insisted that the engine light had been on when my truck arrived and refused to acknowledge the situation further. I will be having my vehicle evaluated by a more a more reasonable technician and holding this location responsible for any parts that appear tampered with.
They are nice and friendly. No complain at all. I always go there to fix my car.
Knowledgeable employees and fair prices. Very confident in their repairs and they guarantee their work.
I had a severe tire balancing issue and stopped in as a walk-in. Even though I was there well before another who walked in that had an online reservation, the woman behind the desk told me theyre very busy and went about her business until a few minutes later when I was still standing there trying to get assistance. She barely would speak with me because I didnt have a reservation. They seemed unprofessional and way understaffed. She finally told me it would be AT LEAST 90 minutes before they could even look at the vehicle and probably would be longer. After being further ignored, I walked out and went to a different location closer to Dallas. What a waste of 30 minutes of my life! Not going back there ever.
Great trust in this store. I have been using them for five years.
Worked with ryan on all my visits and the work was done fast and accurate. Recommend....yes
DO NOT GO TO THIS FIRESTONE, THEY WILL TRY TO SELL YOU PARTS YOU DONT NEED!I went in for an oil change, everyone seemed friendly enough. When my car went into the bay all the sudden Im getting a phone call from Firestone while I am sitting in the lobbySaying a spring In my oil cap is gone and I need a new one to leave. So I said OK buy it, after a wait they said they didnt have the part and I needed to wait a day for it. I told I cant I had to go, they putting everything back on my car. I left and then Googled it, and guess what no such spring is in the oil cap. I went to the dealer for the oil change and guess what nothing is wrong with my car at all. DONT GO TO THIS CHOP SHOP if you value your time and money
Walked in and waited 10 minutes before i called the store phone.. A lady appeared in the back shop and walked to the phone in the shop.. I said, thats me on the phone i had to call just to get some service around here. Her 1st words were, we only have 2 people.. (Idc do your job) then I explained i had called this morning and gave her the sizes of the 2 tires i needed. Then she asked me if my car was upfront (like.. No i walked here you idiot) then proceeded to walk to the wrong car while i repeatedly said, over here.. To the right, to the right, right, right, right... Then she finally caught on and realized she was walking to the wrong car... (At this point im questioning if shes sober) and then they take my keys and drive my car into the shop, pop the hood for some reason.. And helped customers that had arrived after me. Im never coming here again. Also i will not allow my friends and family to come here.
Marissa and the others (I didnt catch the guys name who inspected the used car I was considering) were very nice and helpful today. Thanks!
Was easy to get my car inspection done here.
Informative
Got inspection done within an hour. Friendly service.
They are so very rude there i walked in and stood at the counter nobody acknowledged me because they were talking to each other the employees i had to wait until they were done and they are so over priced
Tire had huge slash. Called location and was told had 1 tire left that fit my car. Place was closing n 15mins. They waited for me to get there, changed my tire, and had me out n 15mins. Great Service.
Very good service, not too expensive good place
Sometimes understaffed but very professional. I dont feel they have every recommend anything which was unnecessary
Took a car in for a cracked freeze plug because the mechanic I normally used was in San Antonio. They tried to upsell me a new engine which was definitely not needed. When I got my car back, the transmission would no longer shift into overdrive and the engine would overheat on the highway. When I took it back they ignored my concern about the transmission and said the heater core needed to be replaced. The manager at the time (this was many years ago but I doubt much has changed) kept coming up with other problems and excuses. A separate transmission shop diagnosed the overdrive problem and suggested it was the fault of this establishment but they refused to even talk to me about their liability.
Good service, but not cheap.
Dont go there unless you have no other alternative. They will exaggerate and lie to you about what your car needs. They told me I needed over $1800.00 in work when someone else said it was not necessary and resolved problems for $400 parts and labor
Nice people good experience.
