Great experience this Friday night! Went out with some friends to get some tattoos, Cooper was my tattoo artist and he did a phenomenal job on the back of my forearm with some nice bold lettering. Would highly recommend! The staff was friendly and professional, the shop was clean and accommodating. Will definitely be back for my next tattoo!

The overall environment was SPOT on. There was enough space for 10 of us ladies to ALL get a quick tattoo was SO QUICK and just a breeze and with enough time to walk over and catch the concert. Travis did a AMAZING job!

I came here in January to get a small and simple rib tattoo, after I got it done I was excessively bleeding from how heavy of a hand my artist had. Externally overpriced but I still tipped. Overtime I did just what my artist said to do for the healing process and my tattoo was extremely blurry. I figured it would heal over time but it didnt. It looks terrible and my artist even apologized and took full blame, however he handled it very professionally and gave me a full refund, along with saying he would fix it by going in with white. A mistake was made but handled it well and I’m sure it won’t happen again.

Honestly how many shops would take 10 walk ins to do matching tattoos on a busy Saturday night!! They were amazing and great artists we already can’t wait to come back! #beewild

This is a very late review but I saw Tom for a tattoo of a chicken claw on my left leg and did my first ever piercing which was a industrial. She’s absolutely amazing and can’t wait to get another piercing/tattoo from her again!

Moved to Texas 2 years ago and never found a shop or artist that appealed to me until today. I went into the shop and it was pretty dead on a Sunday which I thought was a good thing because I would get quick service and the tattoo would be done at a reasonable time. My artist was Shane and right from the get go he was so friendly and so helpful. I went in with a idea of what I wanted and he took it from there. He gave me a very traditional piece, which Ive never had one done before so it was a good change of pace from what Im use to. Getting the tattoo was a great experience also. Shane was very talkative and there was never a dull moment. The shop was clean and it was a all around great experience. I can honestly say that this shop and Shane will be my go to for future work.

I went in for my first tattoo and they got me settled away pretty quick and we even chat for a little while, great customer service! These guys did a great job, I really appreciated how quickly they got me in and out as well, Five stars is not even enough for this place they deserve 10. Don’t trust the bad reviews about this place because I went in 2 years ago with a buddy and they were still awesome. If I’m back in town definitely coming back to this place for another tat. The Tattoo Ranch is awesome! The artists are great and they do high quality work. I always get compliments on the quality of my tattoo, the clean lines, shading, everything about them. After a couple of drinks across the street with hubby, we ended up here and I walked away with my first (and only) tattoo! I had always wanted a little tat just above my ankle. I found the perfect one, and was in and out within 45 minutes. Above all, I have to say how wonderful they were with this newbie! I have marked this off my bucket list with a smile :)

Not only is this place in a great location, the shop, and staff are great as well. The shop is decorated like no other shop I have ever seen, very unique and clean. The stations are very organized and open so you can see everything that is being prepped for your tattoo. The artist seem to be hand picked, and their work shows why they are working at The Tattoo Ranch. I have had all but 1 (my first at 19) tattoos done by Tattoo Johnny. I could go on for hours about his amazing work, but I think you should go see for yourself. I recommend this shop to EVERYONE as much as I can. If you are looking for a new shop, or new artist, I high suggest this place. You will be satisfied in every way and you wont have to search for another shop again.

My husband got a tattoo on his leg. We had both gotten small tattoos from them before so we decided to go back and have them do the one on his leg. We went to the shop and they had moved down the street. The people that were in the old place were not there any longer. We should have known better but we got the tattoo anyway. The receptionist was very rude. 5 days later my husband has an infection in his leg. Has gone to the doctor 3 times and everyone says it is because they went to deep. He is still battling with the infection 2 weeks later. We will never go there again. 4 different tattoo artist said it was a bad tattoo and he went to deep.

Not happy with this place. They insult my girlfriend and made her feel uncomfortable. Wont be going here again. Also over priced was not happy with that. Could have got it cheaper somewhere else. These people were unprofessional and had no right to ask about our personal lives. I got a not so well done rose tattoo with a name the size of a pencil and they want to charge me 200 . A tattoo parlor sounds a bit more fancy than a tattoo shop. That is exactly what I use to describe this place: a tattoo PARLOR. The place has swagger. A Willie Nelson-esque swagger.The decor inside is nicely done -- you can tell the owner has good taste, style, & artistry skills. The lights arent overwhelmingly bright and the walls arent a boring white. (Hey, that rhymed.) You wont walk in to find wall mounts with poster-sized sheets of a million tattoo drawings.Most importantly, the staff is great and the place is clean. The girl working the front counter (Jamie, I think?) was very nice and professional, and the tattoo artists were super friendly & helpful as well. Clay, the artist who did my tattoo, dutifully drew out several different versions of the tattoo I wanted, and I chose which one I liked the best. He didnt rush things, was thorough in the application of the tattoo, and also provided all the necessary information regarding the after-care of my tattoo. All in all, I would say this is the best & nicest tattoo parlor I have been to in the Dallas/Fort Worth area!

I took a picture up to Tattoo Ranch and received the exact tattoo that I wanted, if not better! It was reasonably priced and I will definitely be going back for any of my tattoo needs. The staff was also friendly and the establishment was very clean. I loved the decor - not just your ordinary tattoo shop! Lots to look at! Already have recommended to friends and family. No regrets with this shop.

Disrespectful and misleading. When we walked in and showed the front desk what we wanted for a tattoo they quoted us $65 for each of us which is the minimum. It was a small tattoo and the price was fair. We signed the paperwork, the artist prepared, and the front desk person began drawing up the tattoo. When the design was shown to us it was not the same as we wanted. We showed them the same picture we had shown the first time and she said the new price was $100 per tattoo. A bit steep but we went with it. When we got up to the area with the artist they said the price was now $165. We are talking about a low-detail, bottle cap sized tattoo and we were not about to be swindled. They had us after we signed the paper work though. No refunds! We had already paid $65 each and we couldnt get that back. We settled with one of us getting a tattoo for $165 instead of both of us and left furious. Sure the tattoo looks great, and it damn well better for that price.We wouldnt have been so upset if they would have treated us with respect and recognized that they made a mistake. Instead they were defensive, rude, and stubborn. We will not be back.

I have been to the Tattoo Ranch on multiple occasions. The shop is always clean and the guys do amazing work! They are professional yet personal. Tattoo Ranch is the only place in Texas I trust to put ink on my skin. The Ranchs owner and artist, Johnny is a lively character that has a great gift. Hes a pleasure to work with!

The ranch is one of the most intriguing shops I have ever been in. Very talented and just cool folk. The tat that Johnny came up with, to represent my grandparents is awesome. My grandparents would be proud to see the tat. Every time i look at it it reminds me of good times with them. Its the only shop i will get mine done at in the future. A very special friend of mine I call him special friend cuz he is inspirational Steven tickets there one evening and we thought oh and a wild goose chase and Biz. Oh no Im going to get in some trouble and Ono and actually you know we thought we could have gotten some trouble but really and reality was sit back and watch that it really wasnt trouble it was helping other people and if people really look into Steven and see who he really is that Steven does a lot of that around the community he helps people and what they need and he gets what they need and he makes it happen no matter what hes going through he gets it done

Great shop, very clean, very friendly and laid back. My family and I stopped in on a whim with practically no idea of what we wanted. Everyone was patient and helpful in helping us find what we wanted. The art work is fantastic. Would definitely drive the 2 1/2 hrs to get another peice.

I stopped by to talk to these guys on Saturday to get quotes. they are very fairly priced and have amazing art work! I will write a second review after they do my tattoo. I do highly recommend them. they are cool as hell to talk to.

LOVE my tattoos from here. Both times Ive gone in, they took me as a walk-in, the girls at the front as well as the artists were very friendly, the artists worked with me and were straight up with me. There was just an all around comfortable atmosphere and very clean. The price may not be what youre into, but you will not walk away disappointed!

True Story. On a trip to Ft. Worth a few months ago I stopped at another shop and found possibly the worst shop there life lesson! We then continued walking through the Stockyards and saw Tattoo Ranch and my daughter got her Beautiful tattoo there the atmosphere was great and the artists were professorial clean and friendly and Johnny even cleaned up my bleeding tattoo and gave me a bandage even though he or his shop did not do it while I was waiting for my daughter. Great place trust me keep walking until you reach Tattoo Ranch!

I walked into Tattoo Ranch with a when I was 18 I wanted a tattoo that I wanted to cover up. It wasnt a little butterfly, but a decent size, bold & black word - I thought I was doomed. Eric, will full confidence told me he would take care of me, and he did just that. I wanted a custom tattoo for my birthday last year and as we celebrated in the stockyards we stopped in the Tattoo Ranch were Clay Laseter was there to help. I told Clay what i wanted and within and hour I was in his chair getting inked. I love the work that was done and love to show who ever is interested. I recommend any of my friends who want tattooed to visit the Tattoo Ranch

Sean threw down some sick art on the inside of my arm. He got right to work and worked quickly. My tat didn’t fit his typical style but he adapted and did a great job! I got a my first tattoo from this shop and have regretted it ever since. My sisters and I all got matching tattoos 1:3, 2:3 and 3:3. Very simple tattoo. The artist I had was very heavy handed and made my 3’s two different sizes. On top of that it looks like I have Harry Potter scar on my chest. Very disappointed. My sisters tattoos turned out pretty well but mine is different sizes and darker in some areas.

Horror-kitsch decorates the entry to this tattoo studio in a space where Bonnie and Clydes gang once killed a man, making for a strangely fun tattoo experience. Also, their artists do excellent art and their rates are decent for custom tattoo work.

First impression shop is in a nice location and is really cool inside but disappointed otherwise. People at the front desk were not super friendly but I thought maybe that is because of having to deal with drunks coming in and not getting any work done but even after it was clear I was a paing customer they still just treated us like we were a number. Took my wife there on a whim to get a small let it be tattoo maybe 2 inches long half an inch tall they ask $80.00 I thought it seemed high but someone had told me that lettering was difficult so we went with it..... not kidding it took the guy no more than 3 minutes and he was done and sending us on our way. So yeah felt a little cheated

Pretty expensive place. Quoted $250 for four letters on my knuckles..went up the road about two blocks and got it done for $75. They were honest about pricing up front just too much for me..

I had looked for over a year since moving to Fort Worth, Tx for a quality tattoo shop; needless to say, Tattoo Ranch is it! Within 30 minutes of me walking in I was greeted, asked numerous questions, given input on my idea, had a sketch drawn up, and was in a chair. My artist was Clay. He and I sat and joked out 5 hours while he skillfully perfected his outlines and painted on a masterpiece of color on what is now an Eagle on my Shoulder. I couldnt be more happy with the results not only from Clay, but from Tattoo Ranch itself. I will be going back many times over.

We were very disappointed with what we found out from someone who seemed to be an artist at the Tattoo Ranch. Stormy told us she would draw a custom piece for us to get tattooed on a specific day at a specific time and paid a deposit of $60 to do so. When we showed up, she was not there 2 hours after the appointment time that she had hand written for us, and nobody could get ahold of her, so we never heard from her after seeing her in the shop when we made the appointment.We were told she shouldnt be taking walk ins, as she has only been tattooing for a short time and did not have permission from the owners that she could be taking walk ins. We trusted that she was a regular tattoo artist and acted as so, saying she would design a custom piece. Thankfully, Cody was extremely apologetic for something that wasnt his doing, and scheduled us that day for the soonest availability he had. So disappointed with what we went through with Stormy, but extremely pleased Cody was there to give us an awesome tattoo!! Thanks Cody!!!!

I went in on my 18th birthday and was pretty scared about my first tattoo, my artist was Eric and he took my idea and not only gave me exactly what i wanted, but better than what i even imagined. My experience was awesome and i will definitely be back!

I was on vacation with my family and we planned on all getting tattoos our last night in town. I looked up Tattoo Ranch online, and they looked like they were professional and had a nice vibe. All of us have tattoos - bigger and smaller pieces that we have gotten from other places, from reputable artists.We all had our ideas in mind, so when we got there we went up to the counter to ask about them. Mine in particluar was a couple of snakes curled up facing each other so it kind of made a skull. I wanted the piece on the inside of my upper arm below my armpit about 4 inches in diameter - a good size compared to the size of my arm. So I asked the guy at the counter about it, and he said that the design was too intricate to do that small.Really? I have a lotus flower on my wrist thats way more intricate thats about 1 x 2 inches. What kind of artist are you that you cant do a couple of snakes that take up a good portion of my upper arm - not exactly a difficult area to tattoo either. Also, as an artist, at least give me an option of what you can do in that size with a similar design. Theres always compromises. But all I got was we cant do that.On top of that they said they charge by the piece and not by the hour. All the other tattoos I have were by the hour and none of them cost more than $300. My dad wanted a small, simple Green Bay Packer logo, and the guy said that one would cost $300. Are you kidding me?Needless to say, the majority of us decided not to get tattoos at all and to get them at home with our personal artists who we trust arent going to rip us off.My husband actually went up the street to Stockyards Tattoo and paid $60 for the one he wanted and they did a really nice job.I put Poor-Fair as quality, but we really wouldnt know. But any small tattoo for $300 should be inked with gold, and for that reason, since I doubt it would be, It is of poor quality for the price.

Tattooed 2 time here great artist simple Friday 13th tat nothing majorbadass shop location loved it what i didnt think was cool was the rudeass chic running the counter. If your closed then lock the door maybe or shut off the signs or poss ibly not be so harsh you couldve said your closed a bit more politely.

This is the good, the bad, and the ugly. Lets start with the good. My artist was Eric Lacefield and he was great! Awesome artist and very gentle tattooer. My piece is exactly what I wanted and for a great price! Heres the bad and the ugly.. I shouldnt give this place 5 stars because the company doesnt deserve it. I walked into the shop with two other people. No one spoke to us or greeted us. We stood around for about 20 minutes patiently waiting for someone to talk to us. Eventually Eric came up and greeted us. While others from the shop walked passed us and acted like we werent even standing there. The girl at the front desk was more concerned about smoking cigarettes and chillin with people than doing her job. On top of that the artists that continued to ignore all 3 of us started an altercation with the gentlemen that actually helped us because they rotate artists and they thought they deserved our business. Ummm.. if you cant even say hi to us.. why would I give you my business? But yeah long story short thats the gist of my experience.

There is no other tattoo shop that even compares to the Tattoo Ranch, from the displays in the front, the priceless memorabilia from famous artist like George Jones to famous movies such as chainsaw massacre and numerous varietys of country heros and outlaws, untold stories of Bonnie and Clyde and the ghost that still hang around. You cannot look in any direction and not see and epic piece of history, and this is all just your impression of this shop from the moment that you walk in, then when it comes time to throw your ideas out on the table, there is an artist there for your every need, from portriats, traditional, master pieces that will be on your body for life, and the artist are there to satisfy you and create what you want, not try to change your mind and put on you what they want to like most shops do, and when it comes time to do the work, everything about is relaxing and comfortable like it should be, from the music to the chair your sitting or laying in, there is not a bad artist there, they are there to fit your needs, make you happy and come back for more, they are not there just for the money, its a lifestyle. They are beyond welcoming and take pride in every piece of work they do, true artist, I would never get a tattoo anywhere else and everybody I kno I send there and they always go back for more, cause not only did they get more than they asked for, the people you meet there become your friends

I didnt have the opportunity to get a tattoo with this establishment. I sent email twice of what I wanted to get and had afew questions. This is my first tattoo. Didnt get a courtesy of a reply. Very disappointing.
