Great experience in this store. I was shopping for a helmet and the experienced sales guy educated me on the best helmet for me. I wasnt ready to buy but when I am I will return there to get it. Prices was very close to Amazon for the same brand/style, I would much prefer to buy local.

The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I went in to get a new brake cable but they took it upon themselves to test it and determined that the sheath was fine and that I only need a cable. They went out of their way to save me money and thats probably the most trustworthy thing a company can do.

I can’t say thank you enough to James and the great people at Fort Worth Cycling and Fitness. I bought a new carbon Domane last year and the frame cracked. James advocated for me and Trek is sending me a new frame. If you need a bike get it here.

Had a great experience, buying my very first bicycle since being a kid. The men here are very knowledgeable and are excited for the product they sell, you can tell these men believe in the product they are selling which is very REFRESHING!! I could not be happier, took the bike out for a spin after they built it for me, only took them two hours to put it together, and i hit the road. I purchased the Verve 1 cycle by Trek. Would recommend this shop to anyone, from novice to veteran.

According to Trek, all Trek dealers are supposed to help file a warranty claim on a bike, regardless of where it was purchased. Fort Worth Cycling and Fitness tried to charge me money to file a simple claim for a missing bolt on my bike. Additionally, they were not very nice to me on the phone. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

I was disappointed this morning when I noticed my back tire was no longer holding air. After a search of shops and reviews I decided on Fort Worth Cycling & Fitness. I am so glad I did! Their staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Instead of solely recommending a certain tire, they took the time to show them to me and explain what kind of advantages the different types had. I was delighted to hear that my bike would be ready the same day.When I returned, I was again greeted by prompt and courteous service. I decided I wanted to buy a bike rack and again the staff explained the different types, which ones suited my car and my bike, and even set it up for me. They explained everything thoroughly so that I felt confident with my new bike rack.I will absolutely go back again and again!

After contacting the shop I bought my bicycle from & receiving no response, I took my bicycle to Fort Worth Cycling & Fitness about a crack in my bike frame. Geno checked the crack & found that it was only a scratch. He then checked my bike out & found that when I changed the seat out I had put the post on backwards 😆 He fixed that. My speedometer was dangling from the handlebars. He fixed that. He lubed the chain. He Installed the new seat for women that I purchased there. He aired up my tires properly & had me try it out. All the while he was giving me tips about safety. I felt like it was Christmas when I left. Its like having a new bike. Thank you Geno for your time, expertise & patience. I will definitely buy my next bike at Fort Worth Cycling & Fitness & tell all my family & friends.

This place is the greatest, all the reviews are on the money. I walked in, was immediately greeted with a smile. The level of customer service in this store is off the charts. First of all the sales person was pushy, trying to sell me something I clearly had no interest in. The bike I did purchased, the front derailleur isnt adjusted correctly. It wont shift correctly and the chain drops. I have a 20 year old big box bike that shifts better. When I went in to get it fixed they told me it was fine and that I was just shifting incorrectly. I bought his BS at first(Im not new at mountain biking so I should have known better), but when I got home and gave it a better test ride than I could at the store I was done. I Know how to fix it, but Im too stubborn. I think Im going to take it back and get a 1X mountain bike since they dont know how a front derailleur works, we will see how that process goes......

This is a smaller shop but it is really good. They are good to the customers and have really good prices on their products. You can t go wrong using them because they have several solutions to any issue you present to them. All in all, I think its the best shop on Fort Worth.

As a complete beginner to cycling, I decided to visit Fort Worth Cycling and Fitness due to the reviews. I must say my visit was not disappointing at all. The staff is very helpful they did not have the bike I wanted built, but they built it that day. They made recommendations on the gear that I would need to get the most value out of my cycling experience. These guys have truly created a customer for life.

This is where I bought my road bike and its where I continue to go back for service and accessories. That says a lot. They worked with me as a first time road bicycle purchaser, stepping me through my options after giving them my goals and my price range. Then they worked hard to find the right bike for me in the right size. I arrived later for my bike fitting, and never having done that before, was coached through it. Even time I return my bicycle for service, the work is well done and is always on time. Friends Ive referred to this place also talk positively about it after their experiences.

The only place to go in town for a bicycle. I bought two bicycles from these guys and having been going to their store for over 7 years. If you buy a bike from them they will do maintenance on it for free for the life of the bicycle saving you a ton of money. They have a good selection and all the guys that work there are really cool. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

Fixed my bike

James is the best and always there to help you when you need him.

The bike and equipment are more than adequate. We bought a bike and a ebike motor/battery combo and had it installed. We got no literature with the equipment to even know if it was what we paid for. The shop personnel told us a week to get the equipment it was 2 weeks. They said it would be a day to a day and a half to install. It took 4 days and when we called they told us there wasnt a charger for the battery. Then we waited for them to get a battery charger. We get not one phone call from them ever about the bike at all at any point to give updates or to let us know whats going on. I take my son to go get his bike finally and the battery is not the one we paid for. It is a way smaller amp hour. Make sure that if you buy a ebike motor and battery that you get every detail written down first before hand. I trusted James the owner because they had been in business for so long. He was willing to make any changes to the bike to make things right. Overall the experience was not pleasant and I personally was not happy when I left. Will i do business with them again? I dont know. I still trust James but, him and his crew did not get this one right. Another thing batteries are not and never will be rated by watts. Batteries are rated by voltage and amp hour and for some reason the ebike world is trying to confuse consumers with this lie. And it looks like that ignorance spreads easily amongst shop owners. I have checked with several shops in DFW and it seems that they are being taught to use these incorrect facts when selling to customers.

I have used them for repairs and purchases for many years. They have a great selection of high end to reasonable bikes they offer great service and are really helpful. I had a flat today on a ride and they fixed me up in 20 minutes with repaired tube some goo and liners in both tires so it is less likely to happen again. Great value also $63.00 nice people. Brought in my bike for some significant repairs. Intitially had some confusion and back and forth with them, but once they realized the issue, the did the repairs quickly, getting my bike back to me several days earlier than originally estimated. The repairs were well-done, and they took care of several other minor things in the process. Wouldn’t bring my bike to any other shop.

Purchased my first bike here in 2003, purchased my second bike here in 2005. I have been riding that bike since with upgrades to the seat and and bars only. Just went back and changes out my drivetrain and all that applies. To say that these guys dont know what their doing would be the greatest lie ever told! Ive been riding a long time and Ive seen many bike shops. These guys are the best hands down.

I was referred to James at this location after several other big stores told me that a sentimental old bike was unfixable. One store quoted me a ridiculously high price and said they may be able to fix it. When I walked into the store I was greeted by a super friendly staff and waited for James to finish up with another customer. He said give me 10 minutes and Ill have it running better than it was when it was new. No kidding less than 10 minutes he had me up and running the bike felt brand new again, and actually shifted better! Ive been back to this location after visiting other local stores for wish list items, and for help with my other 2 bikes. Every time the staff here is patient, more friendly, more helpful, and they all are the most knowledgeable and experienced about anything cycling. Ive had several members of the staff assist me in product purchases, test rides, and theyve all given tons of advice and knowledge that has shot up all of my PRs and helped shoot me to the top of the segments daily. These guys are the very best, they do a better job of fixing my bikes and the do it for less. Ive never had to have anything re-fixed unlike at other places. Most importantly the ppl here wont make stuff up. If they dont know the answer they tell you that and then get the info you want or need. This is the only bike shop that Ive been to that I trust 100% with my bikes, that is why I highly recommend them for any bike needs new, used, or selling, these guys are true pros and if you go anywhere else you are spending more money and guaranteed to get less. Side note had a problem with equipment I purchased these guys swapped it for a new item, and told me they would handle dealing with warranty company so I wouldnt have to. Fort Worth Cycling is the absolute best shop for pros, enthusiasts, beginners, and rec cyclists in DFW give em a shot and I promise you wont be disappointed.

Lousy people who lie about prices and just like the one review said they play that game very well. All I can say is they don’t stand by there word on prices. If you tell someone it’s going to cost a certain price and tell you straight in your face in front of a witnesses that it will cost no more than that because they know what they are talking about then you should do it no matter what. Don’t let these fools fool you and your wallet.
