Me and my friends been with Al for years now, the only place we go to. why ?1st of all we dont need to worry about future issues. if existed, he takes care of it on his own! (( his diagnostic is premium ))2nd he is very honest and his prices considered to be highly reasonable specially with the spare parts!3rd He offers a backup car, picking me up and dropping me off!!4th mutual respect is always there !i mean you can see how loyal even his mechanics! thats rare nowadays !!

I always have a good experience with Al and Jeff. They have even done some simple little fixes for me at no expense, such as unclogging a hose real quick for me, which was greatly appreciated.

They did what they stated they would do in a very timely manner. I appreciate AL and his crew, they are very honest.

This is a true neighborhood shop! Theyve been honest and fair everytime weve needed a repair.

Just went in for an inspection but Al was very accommodating and even called me to remind me that I had forgotten my inspection paperwork. I will definitely bring them my cars if they need anything.

We were from out of town when our engine started misfiring. Barely able to go another mile, we pulled in to this Oakland Auto repair shop and they were closing in less than an hour. They quickly diagnosed the problem and had the parts delivered and installed - and even stayed an hour after closing (on a Saturday) to get us home. The mechanic as well the shop manager were knowledgeable and polite. I am very grateful for this shop, as most mechanic shops would have said, “come back on Monday”. Great job guys 👍🏻

I took my car to them cuz I work next door so I paid for all my parts and paid for labor and I my car came back worst than it was paid for oil change & tune up and they didnt do anything and I have my paperwork supporting the fact that I paid for these services that were not performed Im looking into getting legal representation for this matter had to spend $700 more after Ive spent $2000 with them dont take ur car there

Al at Oakland Auto has been taking care of my sisters car for the last couple of years. He has been very fair and kind and goes above and beyond to make sure her car is safe and she doesnt pay for more than she has to. Our family is very thankful for the quality, trustworthy service.

I took my truck here w/o an appointment, they gave me a ride home, fixed my truck, picked me up and the cost was lower than other repair shops. Al is very friendly and so is his staff. I was very impressed with the quality of service.

I take my car to Al for inspections and repairs. I have never felt he engaged in any of the practices that people hear about with car repairs.I recently had my annual inspection done there and the next time I went to fill up my car with gas, it would not fill properly and kept shutting off the pump. I took it to Al to have it checked and like other reviewers, he gave me a ride home and returned the car to me when it was done. He told me the problem was probably caused during the inspection and did not charge me anything for the work - even washed the car. I was very impressed by his integrity and dont think this would have happened at very many auto repair shops.

Great mechanical work, customer service, and honesty. Excellent repair costs compared to competition (to include large national chains and smaller shops).

These ppl!!! They charged over $300.00 to repair a vehicle which once we got back, was just as bad if not worst. R-U-N!!! U were warned...

I was traveling from benbrook to Arlington and I hit a piece of tire on the road and my engine guard came off and it dragged on the road. I was really scared and I searched for a repair shop nearby. Luckily Oakland Auto repair was nearby so I turned on my blinkers and drove there slowly. The guy immediately got underneath and fixed it. And he didn’t even take any money. I appreciate his help so much.

I bring my cars here all the time. Very honest and professional people. I highly recommend them to anyone.

We have had repairs done on my ford escape and F250 (diesel) here and it has always been exponentially cheaper than the dealership and done well. We are very pleased with this little neighborhood auto repair shop.

I would not recommend this place. I went in for an inspection and the guy took forever looking everything over, I think he was looking for things to upsell me on. When the inspection was done by Allaeldin we walked in the office. I paid him for the service and he proceeded to ask for my address and phone number. Why do you need this information for an inspection? He said in case there were devices removed from my vehicle. Another flag. Why would you take things out of my car for an inspection? After all of this Allaeldin Makki asked if he should call the sheriff to get in contact with me while he was giving me my paperwork. Plus he gave me a nice middle finger to send me on my way. But I just stood there because he did not give me my keys. He seemed annoyed and asked if he could help with anything else. I asked for my keys and he had trouble finding them. Worst shop ever!

Beware: printed estimate is not provided to customer therefore if something goes wrong then it ends up being a he said-she said argument. Would not recommend.

Ive been bringing my car here for inspections and oil changes for the past 3 years. The owner is a nice guy and transactions are easy.

I will not ever go back. My car broke down after leaving their shop due to their mistake and instead of fixing the problem. The manager tells me now its for me to be the ass hole manager! Who says that to a customer? Very bad customer service.
