This is not a good location to go to. My wife went here a couple of times. One time they told her that she needed a coolant flush and that she might not make it home if she doesnt get it done. So she called me all worried about driving home. And I know that is a lie what they told her. I was very upset about this but I was working late so I had no time to go and question these people. Another time she went to get her oil changed and they lied to her and tried to change her more $. They said her car used a special kind of oil but I was happy to know she corrected the manager ( who gave her a attitude) that told her it used a special oil.

My car was here 1 month ago for A/C repair....they tore the front end of my BMW apart to replace the compressor.... condenser and evaporator....it blew cold air for a few days....now its blowing hot air again....I was told by another reputable tech that it was my climate control module the whole time.....so I paid all that money for something that wasnt needing repair.....to top it off....part of my bumper fell off the car.....AFTER THEY PUT IT BACK ON!....I never had a problem before with it until they took it apart.....smh....now I have damage.

We were driving through the DFW area on our way to Denver to deliver my daughter to college when the A/C in her car went out.In Texas. In August.We were absolutely miserable.I made an appointment online @ this Meineke location, they were able to see us almost right away. Larry (front desk) and the rest of the mechanic team were absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond the call of average service, having the part we needed delivered within an hour of diagnosing the issue. They even accepted a 50% off coupon I had received via text message upon scheduling the service.2.5 hours after arriving (hot and frustrated) we left with a cold A/C and smiles on our faces. What a relief!Dropping my kid off at college across the country is hard enough…..trying to tough the trip out in 100Β°+ temperatures what was not something I wanted to add on to that. Thank you so much Meineke!!

Well if you must know why I was disappointed with my experience at this particular location is that I was over charged for and air filter. Larry is a smooth talker but a real con artist. He told me that an air filter cost 130. When I know the air filter for my van cost 20 bucks. I will never return to that location to get any service. I will take my business some where eles.

I am not a trusting person when it comes to dealing with automotive repair facilities β€” my intuitions were correct! Meineke in Fort Worth did a doozy on my vehicle. They called me to tell me my vehicle was ready. Although they don’t close until 6pm and I was talking to the rep at 5:30pm, he advised that it would be best to come the following morning because he had something to do and was leaving. When I arrived, my doors and hood were up. He came back and said that my car would not start. Upon investigating, I found that they damaged some wires resulting in the power seats, windows, AC, and car would not start. It had to be towed (at my expense). Finally was able to get the car running as 5 fuses had been blown. Immediately after I started driving, the power steering started making noises and the check engine light came on. Now a sensor is causing the RPMs to go to 4000 when driving 60mph.I urge any and everyone to steer clear of this place. They are unprofessional and do not know what they are doing!!!

I had my oil changed before going out of town and they gave me a very thorough inspection report including photos of everything they looked at on my vehicle. They didn’t try and upsell me in anything that wasn’t needed but did make a few recommendations. They pointed out a bad tire and told me I had a 50/50 chance of making it on a long road trip on that tire but even though they sold tires there they said I could just go to wherever I normally bought tires as long as I got it replaced before taking my trip. It made me feel really good that they were concerned about my safety. I’ll definitely use Meineke on Altemesa again.

Well, I called made an appointment they did not have the oil or filter for my car. Zeke said that he could get it he said it would take about 30 minutes I was there longer of course. No problem. So far so good on the oil change and tire rotation. What I did not like they were kind of sloppy getting in and out of the car apparently, the stripping around the emblem at bottom of drivers side was broke, it was all dirty black from their boot, oil/black on side if door interior and around frame. I feel like they could have done better. They put the paper on the floor board but it was crumpled up and left in there.

I went there in February of this year to have my power steering pump replaced. I left at closing and my car was still doing the same thing. I returned at opening the next morning and they looked at it and told me it was something else. I called the store today because I got my oil changed and they told me my power steering pump was leaking and the top was off. I was with David and asked for the information for the Operation Manager he reluctantly gave it to me.

My mother in law went there to get here AC serviced. They told her $1400 worth of work as needed. She paid to get it fixed, but continued to have issues. Took It back twice. She asked me to look into and in my opinion they took advantage of her. I express that to the guy and he threatened to fight me. Red head guy with a red beard. Looked like a extra for game of thrones. I wouldn’t recommend anybody go there unless you have the complexion for protection.Here’s an update. I was contacted by the owner or district manager, but never heard about any follow up. I see from other reviews that the same β€œgentleman” has done this repeatedly to other customers as well as to former employees. I can just imagine the work environment for other staff members.For the record my mother in law’s AC is still not working and doesn’t work. No one has contacted her or I about any remedies. All I asked for was her vehicle be fixed properly the first time. She told me she’s just gonna file a case with the Better Business Bureau.

I had brought my car up there knowing I would receive excellent service, as I have been visiting meineke for almost all things car related. When I went inside, a man named Elvis greeted me and said hell do what he can to help me out with my budget and he really truly did. My check engine light was on and he let me know what problems I was having, as well as doing an oil change and helping me replace my brakes. Replaced tire rod ends yesterday....paid for both sides but only was side was completed. We found out only one side was done when we went straight from their shop to another shop for alignment as their machine was down. They were in a rush to close early for the holiday. We had to pay the other shop to repair the car immediately.Since my original post I have contactedCustomer Service on numerous occasions with no real response to my issue. Ive been told all types of rubbish regarding my claim. I have yet to hear back from a specialist overseeing this matter. I asked to speak to a supervisor on one call, was told he was busy and would call me back but that didnt happen. Called yesterday, after a frustrating conversation with a rep, he then hung up on me. I have video and and statement from the shop we went immediately after leaving Meineke showing the incomplete work. I am only requesting the money I paid for the labor which is cheaper than the labor I actually paid to have it fixed at the other place the same day. This place is TRASH AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE!!! I wish I could upload the video.

I went in to this place because I desperately needed a cheap good oil change and I needed it done fast. The sign outside said β€œhome of the $14.95 oil changesβ€œ when I asked him about it he said he would β€œdo his best” not sure what that meant.. I asked how long it would be until my car would be done and he said there weren’t any other cars in that bay so it shouldn’t be long. An hour goes by and my car is still outside sitting in the same parking spot. He asked β€œwhich vehicle is it again?” So I told him, he goes out into the garage said something to one of the guys and then they took in my car finally. About 45 minutes pass and my car is done. I verified that a few things of the supposed 23 things on the checklist are done and he looks at me like I’m an idiot for asking trying to make sure I get a good oil change. How dare females get things done on their cars too! Definitely won’t be going back. Oh. Then he charged me $24 not $14 plus tax. So thanks for overcharging me!

I made an appointment for an oil change at 9:30am. I arrived a few minutes before and parked in front of an empty bay. I noticed one person moving around a vehicle inside the shop and another sitting in front of a computer. I waited a couple minutes and when no one came out, I walked toward the open door of the shop. I greeted them and said that I had an appointment for an oil change at 9:30. The guy sitting, without looking up and in as dismissive a tone as possible, said take a seat inside well be with you. (As a I found out later by looking at the appointment form, there isnt an option to wait in your vehicle while its being serviced. My mistake, the form just says wait while my vehicle is being serviced.) So I said, I selected to wait in my car. Can I do that instead? He finally looked up and said In your car? Thats not gonna happen, bud. Theres no way Im putting your car up there with you in it. How am I supposed to know how the shop is set up? Ive been a few places where you wait in your car while its being serviced. Plus, I selected that option. Or so I thought. Ok. I guess Ill wait inside. Well I made an appointment for 9:30. Do you know how long itll be? Because there didnt seem to be anyone working besides the guy working on the car and he appeared to be pretty occupied. And what good is an appointment if one party doesnt keep it? Again, back to being dismissive and now increasingly snarky, he says bout an hour.Im starting not to feel welcome here and on top of that this guy just seems to have a bad attitude. So I ask Is there a reason that youre upset with me? He asks why, I convey my observations. He disagrees. He says that what Im saying is utterly ridiculous. I say, Well whatever then. I came here to get an oil change and do business here. He says Well now I dont WANNA do your oil change. Ok fine. He said Have a nice day. Further adding to his passive aggressive tone. This guy who said his name was Elvis and said he was the manager cost this location a customer. Its not always what you say, but how you say it. And this guy said it all wrong. With competition for the consumers dollar increasing by the minute and so many businesses closing down, Id expect a rebirth of customer service. ESPECIALLY for a brand new customer. I guess thats expecting a lot.I ended up going to CityView Car Wash. Where Ive gone for years. Where the customer is Sir or Maam. Where they say please and thank you. Where your business is appreciated.

Id almost rate a 5. Area is clean, best relaxing chairs, lights dimmed, tv works, ac is working, overall enjoyed waiting for my service. However, the manager that day could use a little more customer service training. There was an unsatisfied customer and to save you the long story he responded, if you dont like the service just dont come back. Both the manager and customer had valid points so I dont blame him, however, there is a solution to all problems and telling customer to just not come back is concerning. I left Meineke with a rattling noise after getting a routine oil change & took my vehicle back immediately after. I was told it was a heat shield by the transmission& the noise would eventually go away. Then 3 days later the noise was still there so I took my vehicle to a certified mechanic who stated it was not a heat shield issue & stated it sounded like the noise was coming from the transmission area. He also stated I had an oil leak. He stated I needed to bring these two issues to Meinekes attention as the problems started after getting an oil change. I did not have an oil leak before taking my vehicle to Meineke nor did I have a noise of any kind coming from my vehicle before I went for an oil change. I will be returning to that location to address these two issues & will not go back for oil changes there again.

I took a car in I was looking to purchase for a pre-purchase inspection. Im SO glad I did! Not only did I discover the car was a rip-off with numerous undisclosed issues, but the gentleman at the desk (whose name Im sorry to say I did not get) answered all my questions and gave us great advice to help us in our car search, and the price was excellent and half of what other shops quoted us.I live clear across the Metroplex, but will absolutely drive the 45 minutes to go back, when needed.The wait time was much longer than anticipated, but the shop and waiting area were also full. The only thing that could have improved my service was if theyd kept us informed of the delay.On a side note, the seating in the waiting area is comfortable, but nearly impossible for people with mobility issues. Having at least one or two chairs with solid footing, and higher, flat seating would make the space accommodating.

Kept my truck there for over a week and a half due to waiting on the part which isn’t their fault, but when receiving my part I called to make sure it arrived and they had told me it was going two more days to install even though it’s a five hour install. I understand that they were busy at the time but my truck had been siting there for over a week and should’ve been done before the new arrivals. It took someone at corporate to tell them to do my truck first since I had already been waiting for over a week. By far the worst service I’ve received but the do have great quality work. Very unprofessional staff. Had my oil changed and by the time I got home the oil and the filter were laying in my driveway. When I called the location I received Isaac, the manager who was argumentative, rude and unprofessional. I asked for corporate and he informed me to find the number myself. They agreed to replace the engine with no warranty, and stated things in writing that were never discussed with me ex. Motor mounts, tires, suspension, radiator which had nothing to do with their negligence. I did end up with a 90 day warranty but I would never, ever go back.Please don’t deal with this company ever because the β€œmaster mechanic” is a master mess up!!!****UPDATE***** 01/29/20Thank you Isaac for sabotaging my 18 year olds car. With much speculation... I know the transmission never had hay in it until you and I clashed. Changing all fluids you would have noticed this so I know it wasn’t there prior to her visit at Meineke. Nor did she have any issues from previous places that changed her oil.Yes, you replaced the motor but all the contingent conditions you listed for the warranty of work like suspension, leak in radiator, motor mounts were fine until she trusted you with her car. She didn’t know that she was dealing with crooks who took her situation due to your negligence, lack of skill, professionalism and left her without transportation.May you find yourself unemployed and may God deal with you for not being an honest establishment.

Disappointed and Not impressed.A diagnostic test was ran on my car and the results said everything was fine. So they said what they thought (because again it said nothing was wrong) it could be and quoted $1,100. I asked if Mechanic could take a ride with me and feel what I was feeling, but he wasnt able to because another mechanic had to leave and he could not leave the other employee(receptionist)by herself. So not only was my problem not diagnosed but they were able to tell me what it might be and fix it for the price of $1,100. So I paid $109 for you to tell me the diagnostic test ran said nothing was wrong! Who has $109 to throw away? I asked for proof of the test that was ran, especially since I paid for it. He said they didnt have anything to show.I asked for the contact information for a district or regional manager and of course the Manager acted as if he wasnt sure what I meant. The person over you, the person who checks in on your volume done in store, the person who comes and does visits to your location to make sure youre doing your job! that person. He played on the computer and his phone for about 5 minutes trying to produce a number of his boss. He gave me the name and number of someone. I said okay, and what is his title? He said he did not know. He didnt even know the title of the person he answers to on a daily basis! So I have worked in customer service for over 15 years and to me this was unacceptable. I will NOT be back!

I went in for an engine oil change. Two problems:1. The staff member asked if I wanted full synthetic. I asked for conventional, but he said my car only takes synthetic blend at a minimum. This is false because Ive only ever previously used conventional at other mechanic shops and my cars manual says as much.2. When he called to let me know my car was ready for pickup, he said their inspection showed I needed a new air filter and more coolant. A total of $50+. I already had an air filter and coolant at home, so I declined. When I got home I checked the air filter, and it was still very clean - like 95%+ clean. Their inspection report showed a photo of a dirty air filter, supposedly mine, but mine didnt look anything like that at all. My coolant was also not empty like they said, but rather pretty much full. I have a hard time believing this was done out of ignorance.tl;dr - they tried to tell me I needed synthetic blend (rather than conventional oil), a new air filter, and more coolant when I didnt need any of those things.

Disappointment question on ethics or honesty.... I had my daughters car that wasn’t running.... so I had it towed in to look at. They let me know I need new windows motors a Full 6 Days before they told me I need a battery and couldn’t do anything since they don’t have a new battery” can’t do nothin with out a battery not one thing”, as he laughs about it, when I ask why it take so long to tell me. Again I couldn’t start the car so it made since. Until I realize if the car doesn’t start and you can’t do anting on a Prius with out a battery, then I was like how you now that I need motors for windows. Then a few days later he ask for some money to fill up the gas tank last time she drove it she filled it up and only drove it home... but that was sometime ago so again I gave the Benefit of the doubt of gas evaporated and then another few days went by and said no problem for motor. Insurance doesn’t cover the motors for new windows... I called and they said yes they do but make sure it’s not the switch’s. I was like 550 a switch and I need 2 I was thinking another 1100 dollars I’m going to have to wait... till I save that up. But great news cars is good to go only a battery. So I told him I would bring the 520 dollars cash... as this is the bill due, and card machine is down. they following Thursday when I’m back in town.I get there, keep in mind I was called 4 times asking when I’m going to pick it up??? to find it not put back together glove box setting in the floor and front wheel fender well sitting in back seat and trunk Components space taken out lying in the floor of car...The new lady said he quit with no notice and my bill was like 300 just for the battery... I was like great price went down. Supper happy!But after so many concerns on ethics like I need new plugs but I just had that done 100 miles agoI get it somethings need to be done for Maintance but if you don’t check it and try to bill for it that’s a concern On anything else when we just did a few lately... so know how do I believe the others need to be done.... so I’m taking it to another place I decidedFor a second opinionSo I drove 4 miles on freeway and it over heating light flashes Maintance comes on I pullover to check fuilds and there is water coolant in my oil I drove four miles barely got up to 60 before lights go crazyHow in the hell does someone looking at engine trouble miss it. Never go back there went there for ac service manager said simple job to replace valve and reload freon. Later he told me I needed new compressor. Took car for second opinion said compressor is good just needs sensor

My air conditioner is still not working and its the third one they put in. I had surgery but I plan to take it back tomorrow and if its not repaired properly, I will have to get help from an attorney and/or the BBB.
