Traded in my 2017 outback for this gem!! The 2021 Ascent!! Main thing was the extra space and the moon roof for all the future fun to be had feeding giraffes at fossil rim. Bryan P. was and is absolutely awesome and so incredibly helpful! He was recommended to me by a friend and took the time to help me and get me the exact car I was wanting! I know I’ve been super annoying lol but he has helped me so much even after I drove off the lot with my beautiful new car! Definitely a great experience

Zero Stars if I could!!Steer clear of this one!! I went in pre approved and ready to buy. Apparently that is frowned upon here and theyre only interested in selling if you finance through them. They wouldnt even budge on price even though the vehicle had deep scratches into the metal and peeling paint on the bumper. This place is a joke!

I had an appointment at 10:30 to get my oil changed and rear brakes looked at. I was there OVER 5 hours. Every time my service rep came out it was alway excuses and telling me it was someone else’s fault and my car would be out shortly. I sat in that waiting room watching people come and go for five long hours. You’d think they would have offered some kind of discount or something. I think it’s time to find a new Subaru service place.

Worst car buying experience of my life. Traded in my 2020 Outback the night before at closing, drove home a 2021 4 runner. Called first thing in the morning 9 am and said that my legs were having the circulation cut off after driving over and hour and 20 minutes to get home that evening from the dealer. I said I cant buy this SUV, I would like my car back. They said NO its been sold already! What????? I was in shock, no way, how could that have happened? So now I am stuck with a 50k SUV that I dont want and still dont want to this day. There is allot more to this story...THEY could have canceled this deal but they chose not to. Very disappointing to say the least.Also I have had a DUE BILL now for I month and NO ONE from the dealership has called to ask about when I would like my windshield and the wheel alignment done. Terrible customer service. I had to pay for the alignment myself and sent a copy of the bill to my sales person. NO response or check in the mail for the work done and I still need my windshield replaced and still all I hear is crickets.

I purchased my Subaru Crosstrek here approximately one year ago. I typically dread buying a new car, but working with Deyton was an excellent experience. I have never owned a Subaru before and I absolutely love my car! Today I brought my car in for an oil change and the service department was excellent. Lauren Miller was fantastic and they even sent me a video of the technician working on my car and describing what he checked. My car was also cleaned and smelled great when I picked it up. I would recommend Hiley Subaru to anyone looking to purchase a car. They are fantastic!

Horrible experience this morning with Hiley Subaru. Had a meeting with Bryan at 9am, he had a busy morning and let Patrick help us out, no problem. Test drove an awesome Wilderness, then went to negotiate pricing. During negotiation another employee retrieved the keys of the car of interest. After he told us credit was good to go, hit me with a ridiculously high interest rate then informed me that they sold the car. Thank you for wasting 2 hours, and sending me home empty handed. Great customer service, Patrick.I think it’s also important to mention that there was another car (instead of the one being negotiated) that the SECOND customer could’ve test drove… ya know, since he argued with me that it was “first come first serve”

Bought a used Mercedes from here. The salesman was extremely rude and very pushy. Once I bought the car I noticed it was pulling pretty hard in one direction. I called him the day after to see if it was something they could fix and he told me I was on my own. I also had to get two tires replaced immediately because they were leaking air. This was a problem the salesman told me would be fixed. The battery and window wipers had to also be replaced immediately. It seemed like their were numerous tickey tacky problems that were about $50-$100 each. This cheap way to make a few bucks and sliding issues over the customer has completely soured my view of Hiley. The salesman was rude and condescending. Dont be a fool, just go to park place. They will take good care of you and take pride in selling quality automobiles

Awful experience with the service department. If I could give them no stars I would.Came in for a warranty repair on my passenger side airbag and asked them not to wash the vehicle because they use an Auto Wash it has been Ceramic Coated. The lady wrote it on the work order and circled it. The service people ignored it, and when I came back she informed me that they washed it anyway. Ceramic coats are meant to be washed by a detailer. Not run through automatic car washes. To top that all off they didnt do my warranty repair properly and left one of my vents popped in when they reinstalled my dash. If this is how they service cars Id hate to know how the new $40-60k vehicles are treated. Run through the automatic wash too Im sure! 🙄Free warranty repair and now I gotta get my vehicle ceramic coated 3 months sooner...

Ive had mixed experiences at this location. With sales, email responses are generally pretty slow, sometimes the emails dont get delivered, and you dont really get straight answers. Right now inventory is restricted, so maybe thats why theyre not chomping at the bit for a sale.The service team always has a good attitude, but ever knows why youre there; at other Subaru dealers, I have shown up, theyve asked for my name, and they already have my profile up with what work needs to be done -- every time I show up here, its like I didnt need an appointment in the first place, and I have to go through everything again. Pretty frustrating.Service timing today (7/15/21) was pretty poor -- I showed up for my 7:30a appointment, and I left the dealer at 9:15a and only got an oil change. We didnt even rotate tires due to their current wear. I wasnt impressed. I had also asked for an appraisal, and was told that the sales team doesnt get in until 9:00a, so it couldnt be done. By the time I was actually checking out at 9:15a, I thought Id ask, but then realized Id probably be there for another 2 hours while somebody looks at my car.Overall, Ive had much better experiences at other Subaru dealers in the metroplex, including where I originally bought my Outback; I have tried Hiley a few times because their Burleson Hyundai dealership has been fantastic in the service department for our other cars, and Hiley Subaru is physically closer to my home. I guess Ill start driving a bit further in the future.

Have bought 3 cars from Hiley in the last few years and the process is always straight forward and easy. They worked with me and got me the deal I wanted along with some helpful advice on where leasing vs. owning would be best for my situation. Sergio did a great job on my latest purchase of a Forester and was super patient when I had trouble picking cars. The same day I bought the car, it got a flat not even an hour later and Sergio made sure it was taken care of at no cost to me and followed up the next day to be sure I was happy.I have also had my Subarus only serviced by Hiley and its a straightforward, no fuzz process every time. They make sure to go over any issues the car may have and dont do any additional work unless you sign off on, which is recommended without feeling pressured. Always get the job done in a timely manner and with a friendly smile.

Purcharchased my Subaru here 2 yrs ago.Recently had to take it in for service due to a recall.From the appt scheduling to having repairs completed, best customer service experience! Prompt, alerted me when parts were delayed, text alerts while I waited to have service done, when car was ready. I even got 2 1/2 hrs of work done without any interruptions, unlike when I work at office or from home. Even a Thank you email for bringing the car in for service! Who does that anymore?So glad I purchased my car here instead of the fancy guys closer to my home.Worth the 45 min drive for Texas size hospitality!! These guys are awesome!

Original Edited Review:Had to travel from out of state to come pick up a car, which required putting down a $500 deposit. I was promised that the deposit would be applied to the purchase of the car. Unfortunately, this did not happen.After attempting to get in contact with them more than a few times and after leaving a review here, the salesman who I was working with FINALLY contacted me and issued a refund.I wish this last part had been a bit more smooth sailing. Nonetheless, they were quick to issue the refund once we were in contact again.Update:Vehicle was financed through my own bank, paperwork that Hiley sent to my DMV in Colorado was incorrect, so it was all sent back. This likely will delay the registration process by another few months.Sigh.

Zero customer service and negotiation. We called in advance to ask about a vehicle advertised online. We drove 2 hours to see it and when we get there it has extreme hail damage. The type of hail damage that insurance companies might total. The windshield had to be replaced. There were also several door dings and key scratches more than 3 inches. We still test drove it and were interested once we determined the only issues seemed to be cosmetic. It would have been nice if they would have let us know about the hail damage and the extent of it before we drove 2 hours to see it. They wouldnt budge at all on the price at all. It was priced at 26k and they wouldnt negotiate at all. They sat down and talked like they would but at the end of the day the sales manager came and said listed price was as low as they would go. What a waste of a day. If the price is no haggle then they should advertise as such and not waste time going back and forth with offers. Very disappointing and we would have written them a check if they would have negotiated as little as 500 off.

Thomas Harmon is the very friendly sales representative who showed us the 2021 Forester and 2021 Outback on the Hiley Subaru lot. We had as much of his time as we required and the test drive experience was completely independent of anyone looking over our shoulders. Because—since we last leased a vehicle—much of the auto industry has adapted new irksome EPA guidelines like the Auto Start Stop function and because the computerization of new vehicles like the Outback increase functionality over ease of use, the learning curve has been a little steep this time, despite our having been seasoned lease customers many years. Thomas answered all the questions I knew to ask at the time and has been quite available to contact if needed. The Outback does live up to its reviews for a very smooth and quiet ride, but does require patience and persistence in mastering the touchscreen apps. In all, it rivals the Toyota Camry in drivability—not bad for an SUV cousin. Exiting and entering the vehicle is a chore for my spouse due to her shorter stature. The safety features are advanced. Visibility is very good. Responsiveness is excellent. Driving the Outback is a pleasure.

Scheduled a service for oil change, tire rotation and a star link update. Due to the star link update they said it would take two hours. No problem. Two hours later they came out and said it would take three hours.....but they didn’t even start it yet so they just wouldn’t do the starlink update since they would be closing. Two hours for oil change and tire rotation. Definitely not returning to this location. If time was an issue then it should have been made known at the time of scheduling the appointment.

EDIT: our sales rep was great and we were pleased with our car, but we’ve had a really hard time getting a hold of their finance manager. We’ve been trying for two months, calling and texting our sales rep. They owe us roughly $300 from the payoff amount being less than what we had originally thought. They said to wait about a month to receive the check in the mail. Low and behold, here we are 3 months later, still no check.Arvin went above and beyond to help us out. He remembered our names quickly, remembered all the little details we told him. He was an amazing advocate and ensured we got the best deal possible. The dealership has good customer service but it would be nice to have a female presence on the sales floor. The service department is more “sorry for your bad luck” than finding solutions. My issue was clutch that went bad at 38,000 miles. (Not covered under power train but clearly an underperforming part) costing 2100 to fix. They wanted 500 to look at it on top of the 500 to fix the ac that also went out. My dissatisfaction is more with the product than people at the dealership. Please just don’t buy a Subaru unless you are trading up every two years.

We showed up only to test drive and shop vehicles... ended up buying a new car since they had just unloaded the exact model we were looking for off the truck. They really wanted our business and asked how they could earn it... So we told them we wanted x amount for the trade in, would put x amount down and wouldnt pay a penny more than x amount. Of course they haggled a bit as all car dealers do, but by the third go around with Tony(our sales person) and the finance guys we had exactly what we wanted and closed the deal.We never felt pressured once, we have purchased 5 cars now and always dread car dealers/shopping. We will be returning to Hiley Subaru for our next purchase. We genuinely got the vibe they wanted to move inventory, rather than screw us in the financing.Tony and Hunter were both great if you are looking for an easy going non aggressive salesperson. The new car sales guys were terrible. Charlie and Patrick are best at being babies and fighting over a sale they never had, than actually trying to help me. I’ve never had to try so hard to buy a car, more than I have from this place. I literally had to chase these guys down for TWO days to get them to sell me a car! They tried to run my husbands credit before we even negotiated the car price then they focused on payments even though I said I preferred not to negotiate that way. My husband has very good credit however the interest rates (based on payments and loan length) were very inflated initially considering his very good credit score and low amount we were wanting to finance. This is not how to build trust and rapport with me I will take my business elsewhere even if it means paying a slightly higher listed price.

Our experience was stellar- in every way. My husband and I showed up a little late, and we weren’t exactly planning to drive away in a new car that night. But everything fell into place, and Arvin was so helpful and graciously stayed late to help us finish up the purchase of my very first brand new car! I have been very happy with Hiley GMC and Subaru. My only complaint is they take too long to pay off your trade in. Both times Ive bought from them I have had to call multiple times about the payoff not being received and on my previous vehicle I even had to go up there and speak with the finance people. Hiley please send payoffs sooner than 10 business days and if you have to wait that long, make sure it gets sent out. Its been 3 weeks and our old car is still not paid off!

Terrible service. We tried to buy A forester and spoke with Charlie and Patrick. We’ve never tried so hard to just get someone to sell us a car. Slow and sometimes no responses to emails, text and phone calls. Absolutely terrible service. Picked up the phone called Ewing Subaru and got a forester that same day. Save your time and avoid this place.

Cheyne Witt was an absolute dream to work with!! Im in Lubbock and we began texting about an Outback 3.6 Touring on a Wednesday evening. Deal was done, trade in value guaranteed, by Thursday at 4:00pm. Picked it up two days later on a Saturday and was in and out of the dealership in less than an hour. He was personable and made me feel at ease but was also very straightforward about the deal. I never felt pressured or like he didnt have my best interest in mind. SOOOOOO pleased and impressed!! My husband and I had a very initially poor experience with Hiley Subaru… it was bad enough that I wrote a detailed review about our grievances online. Mr. Hiley reached out to us himself after reading our review, and after looking over our case information and documentation, he and his executive team went above and beyond to right the wrong and give us a stellar experience. We stopped in to take a look at a used car that was available. We test drove the car and decided to discuss pricing. The listed price online did not match the price they began their negotiations with. Super misleading to have different pricing. They refused to come down even $200 and when I asked if they had a military discount, they informed me that the military discount was already calculated in the online price. What? So everyone gets a military discount? I buy a lot of cars and this was easily my most negative experience. We drove to Dallas and bought another car that same day. The finance manager and salesmen were unprofessional. There are many other places to purchase cars, I would avoid this place.

I really want to like this place. I like the service agents. Lauren in particular has always been helpful and professional. Theyre close to work and offer a shuttle so I can drop my car off. Theyve also been generous about offering loaner car when repairs took longer than expected.However, on multiple occasions Ive had to take my car back to have things corrected after having work done here.A couple of years ago I had fuel system work done. It took longer than expected, which was not a big deal, but the first time I tried to put gas in it started spewing gas back out. It turns out they had set something wrong on the computer.Most recently (March 2020) I had taken it in for an airbag recall and decided to have the breaks taken care of while it was there. The day after I got it back I noticed one of the lug nuts was different (see picture). It turns out they had broken it during the break job and just not said anything. So I took it back in.Two days later it got cold and I tried to use the heater/defroster and there was no hot air and no air coming out the center console. I took it back and it turns out they had forgotten to reconnect something and one of the blend doors was not installed correctly.On the upside they have always been quick to acknowledge a mistake and have made it right. Its just troubling that you pay a premium to have your car serviced at the dealer because you believe they know your vehicle better than anyone and this kind of thing happens. It also makes you nervous because if all these problems are visible what about the quality of the work you cant see?Ill probably go back because they have always made it right and they are super convenient but convenience only counts for so much.
