I came to this location based off the reviews and the name! I was very disappointed in the service that I received. I was told that I needed to replace my entire AC system which was over a $2,000 job!What was REALLY upsetting was.... My ac would blow cold and switch off and on here and there. After taking it to Christian Brothers... It will only blow hot air ☹️. Very disappointing!I wanted to do some price checking went to a different company.... I did NOT need to replace my entire AC system... Matter fact the job cost 347.00 and my ac works perfectly fine now!!

I trust these guys. Im fairly new to the area and the shop I had been using closed down suddenly. I read reviews and went to Christian Brothers just for my emissions tests for registration, to see if everything that has been said was true. It was beyond my expectations. They treated me the same as other customers despite such a simple service request. So when they said my control arms were bad, I believed them (I actually know cars though having dated a mechanic for many years and being hands on learning from head gasket to the entirety of the brakes system from master cylinder to portioning valves etc) and i confirmed their statements. Their estimate was extremely fair. The service was superb. It was easy, it was comforting to be able to trust them, and I recommend them to everyone.

Came home from a work trip to discover rodents decided to make their home in my engine bay. Christian Brothers was able to take, diagnose, and start the repairs same day just hours before closing. Everyone was super friendly and very helpful throughout the process. They send texts out with a link to their report/findings and suggestions for a fix. I would highly recommend these guys looking for an overall great experience and solid work!

I have had Christian Brothers Automotive service my wifes and my automobiles for many years. Generally, either Roger or Josh have been my go-to guys. They have always been very prompt, courteous and professional. Christian Brothers does excellent work, their prices are very competitive and their cost estimates have been accurate. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to Christian Brothers for the automotive needs, ranging, from annual vehicle inspection to any exterior or interior repairs.

Had to have a seat motor replaced. Instead they located a complete seat replacement at the earlier agreed upon price. And had the work done by the next day! The price estimate was in line with the expected cost found on line. Good work. Fair price. Great value.

I went to Christian Brothers to get my CV joints replace in my car. They gave me a quote that seemed high. As i looked into it, They charged me over $700 on parts that I could buy for about $300. They said that they get them from a dealership, which take a profit, then they mark them up for a profit for themselves. I asked if they would wave the diagnostics fee, since I did decide for them to fix it, and they abruptly said no. I did not get any coupons or gift cards to offset any cost as another reviewer mentioned. They were for the most part very kind and friendly. Felling pretty disappointed in the inflated costs and robbed. :(

Yall, Christian Brothers Automotive is by far the best place Ive ever had a vehicle serviced at!Full disclosure: Damage to one of my wheels happened at a DIFFERENT company and they referred me to Christian Brothers. Yes, they paid for the repair as well.Ok, so...the A/C in the waiting room is perfect (super important factor for us Texans), they have couches to relax on instead of hard plastic elementary school chairs, a Keurig with a nice assortment of coffees, chilled bottled water, a bowl of candy, a bowl of snacks, lighting isnt harsh or too dim, music volume is acceptably low - meaning you can understand and enjoy it or ignore it if you dont like it.As for their customer service...yall, the cutest little old man happened to waiting on his vehicle and he was just talkin the ear off of one of the employees. The CBA employee never interrupted or spoke out of turn, he just let the old man ramble, and treated him with respect.The repair to my vehicle didnt take long, or I was just too comfy to notice the time, and I was thanked for stopping by and sent on my way.10/10 will definitely have my vehicle serviced with Christian Brothers in the future.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR IN FOR REPAIR HERE!!!!!!!! Ridicoulous fees and just unethical mechanics/management who just preying on customers. Went in for my AC which was not blowing cold enough, tunrned out to be a $3K job????? We got it fixed somewhere else for $300 and now working perfectly fine. This place should be ashamed!

They had me in on time, offered a free multi point vehicle inspection with my service, and sent me a detailed report including pictures of everything they inspected. They also followed up with a phone call to tell me what needed attention along with the costs of needed repairs. Very courteous and professional staff.

I have a 1999 Ford Explorer that was constantly stalling on me. Through the thoughtful process of elimination. I was pretty sure it was the fuel pump. I am in no way a mechanic. I took my vehicle to Christian Brothers. Im so grateful that they listened to me. They found a fuel pump that was creatively installed. I fuel tank that had substantial amount of rust. They then came to the conclusion that it needed to be replaced too. After removing the fuel from the tank they found a lot of sand. Dont ask me how that happened. I havent a clue? Now my vehicle runs like a fairly new car! Thank you so much for your wonderful updates! Most importantly getting my vehicle back to me as promised, even with the hiccups! Christian Auto Brothers did an amazing job of providing an in-depth analysis and diagnostic test of my vehicle. They sent me pictures of the areas in which they recommended future services and were extremely efficient in their customer service. I am absolutely going to use them for any future automotive needs I may have.

Man they way to high. Their job Is to up charge at all cost. I got a quote for 4k Cadillac Converter replacement. Got it done up the street for 9 hundred. Stay away from CB.

I went there thinking it was time for new brake pads, walked in just asking them to replace them. They spent and hour going over my brake pads and my whole braking system and told me everything looked fine. Great to see a shop with staggeringly honest mechanics, they could have easily just swapped out my pads and billed me. I will definitely come back for anything I need done on my car.

Friendly, and considerate. Have shuttle service so you can leave your car and can take and you home and bring you back. All so offer you water while you wait. Thats always nice.

Sad and Disappointed.Diagnostics showed grill shutters were needed. Was charged 638.00 for grill shutters that cost 302.00 MSRP according to the part number provided by employee. Company told BBB the part was purchased on line and do not include labor & warranty. labor was charged separately. Totally Overcharged on the part.😢😥

Experience was great, but outcome was different than expected.The people working there are amazing. They quickly took care of me without an appointment and made me feel like a priority almost the entire time. They even gave me a complimentary lift to the rental place to pick up my car, and once again after I dropped off my rental to come get my car.Still having all the same problems I brought the truck in for originally though. (White smoke upon start up) (they tried to replicate it but it seems to only happen occasionally, and they couldn’t get it to reoccur) can’t blame them for that. And it has only happened once since I got it back from them2800 Dollars later I’ve still got a weird idle, hard shift, and a skipping rumbling noise when I’m driving over 40 mph.In all fairness as well they warned me I could be charged for the transmission and engine idle inspections which I declined to approve because I had a 0$ deductible through my car “warranty” that should cover engine and transmission issues. Again, that might be somthing I need to talk to maxcare or CarMax about. But that concerned me enough to come back once I can figure out whether it’s covered or not.I want to be clear this is not a negative review or experience. I had a hard time explaining some of my concerns about the vehicle to Christian brothers who went in and found things I didn’t even know were broke, showed me pictures and explained the repairs before they were made.I plan on bringing it back to them again. I believe the repairs that they made were necessary, but did not solve the reason for me bringing it up in the first place.My goal when bringing my truck in was to find, diagnose, and fix all the issues on my truck that I could while paying 0$ out of pocket. Thanks to josh’s clear and transparent service I was able to take care of a lot of issues. Which is why I’ll be coming back there to finish the job.

Everyone was very nice and they were able to get my Texas safety inspection done quickly. The waiting room was very clean and comfortable. All the employees were taking percautions for the safety of their customers health too, which was appreciated. I would recommend their service to anyone!

I started coming here last year after getting told by the guy at Take 5 on south Hulen that my car wouldnt pass inspection because I need ball joints. CB did my inspection and a complimentary overall inspection of my car. No mention of me needing ball joints. This is now my place and I highly recommend them. Friendly service and clean!

We just recently moved from Denver CO so we relied on our AAA membership to find us the best and approved auto repair shop in the area. My family and I have been using Christian Brothers for 25+ years (in multiple cities that weve lived in) and every location that weve used has been consistent in their high standards and with the level of quality and professionalism that weve received. The Oakmont location is my favorite location that Ive used. They are friendly and personable, and take the time to explain to me (in easy-to-understand terms) exactly what work needs to be done and why. They also provide pictures (via email) of my car and the areas they are talking about so that I have a visual to refer to. Ive never felt pressured by them to get the work done immediately. They are very good about letting me know which things are the most important to take care of first and which things are more along the lines of recommendations. The staff takes time to make sure that I am comfortable while I wait, takes an interest in me as a person by remembering details about my family from previous visits and asking how my family is doing (Roger is particularly awesome about doing this), and if I cant stick around and wait while the work is getting done theres even the option for a free courtesy ride home if I need it. Even the couple of times in all these years that something has gone wrong with work done there (which in 25+ years will statistically happen anywhere) they have been great about checking it out and making it right at no cost to me. I cant say enough good about Christian Brothers and specifically the Oakmont location! My family and I are customers for life!

Received great customer service and the repairs were made in a timely manner I was expecting them to be extremely pricey but once I checked around they were comparable to other shops in the area but their customer service was head and shoulders above the rest

I called to scheduled a tire alignment since I received a coupon from Discount Tire. I asked how long it would take and was told about an hour. I was able to wait there and use their complimentary wifi to work on my laptop. About 50 minutes later, I was paying for my service (exactly what was quoted, no surprises) and out the door in under an hour! Great service!

I love the text message reminder for a service appointment, making the appointment in a couple easy steps online, getting a quick confirmation, easy drop off, getting a detailed report for my vehicle with important items pointed out, the follow up call to make sure I understand everything, and the fact that you will fix what I want to have done. The prices for repairs and services are very good, the employees friendly & courteous, and the mechanics know what they are doing! Christian Brothers is our first choice for our cars!

Visited Christian Bros, SW Fort Worth today for regular maintenance of my 2016 Subaru Forester. I made an appoint by telephone and the entire process was completed within an hour. The service advisor was polite, professional and knowledgeable. They provided an electronic version of the complete multi-point inspection report to me via both text and email - an excellent innovation that I have not previously experienced, even at my local Subaru dealer. The work was done as promised, in the time promised and I am very happy with the experience. The cost was reasonable, but not a bargain; however, I am happy with the overall experience and value received.

These people should be ashamed of the way they do business. Came in with a low oil light on after paying $150 to “diagnose” the problem I was told it would be $650 to replace the sensor but they wouldn’t know if that was the problem until after they fixed it. For the record I called three other places all quoted me under $120 to replace that sensor. Ended up taking it to someone I trust they took twenty minutes looked at it changed my oil and the problem was fixed. These people are hawks for the uneducated consumer and the exploit it to a T.

After over 40 years I have become disappointed with our local Honda dealership. I no longer trust them with repairs and maintenance, especially their pricing.Our daughter suggested we try this Christian Brothers location, as they had provided good service and reasonable prices with her cars.When my wifes Civic, an older model, needed an oil change and annual inspection, I made an appointment and took it there. They were very pleasant to work with, got the work done in the timeframe they stated, performed a free check of the vehicle, and made appropriate recommendations for additional service that will be necessary soon. No pressure to do it immediately, and we will return to get it done shortly, when finances permit.While waiting in the comfortable waiting area, I observed their interactions with other customers; all were respectful and polite.I will return for future service.

I came to Christian Brothers for a state inspection and Roger helped me out. First off, the facility was so clean and smelled really nice. I gave Roger my keys and told him that my fob didn’t work correctly so he’d have to hold it up to the start button. He then opened it up, told me I didn’t even have a battery in it and then put a new one he had in it for me. That was really nice. But then after my inspection he brought me out to my car and said that the payment had been taken care of. Now, Roger, or anyone else for that matter knew the type of terrible month I’ve had and such a simple act of kindness can make such an impact. So thank you, Roger for just being kind and helping me out more than you know! And thank you Christian Brothers for the outstanding service! I will only be coming and recommending this particular location to everyone I know!

I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly and professional Christian Brothers were when I brought in my daughters vehicle. They did a thorough inspection of the exterior and took photos of the condition it was in when brought in. They also took photos of the areas that were shown to have problems and emailed them to me. With the photos were a detailed report of what was going on and what needed to be performed. I was kept in the loop with text messages and phone calls and was treated with the utmost respect. After dropping off the vehicle I was taken back home, something I really appreciated. With so many choices for auto repair its refreshing to experience these extra touches.

Made an appointment to get my car aligned. After I had arrived to the shop within 10 minutes my car was already getting looked at. Received an inspection of my car through a text message with a link. The inspection pretty much cover the most important parts in a car. Really love their service I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to do service on their car. My car alignment was done just right and was ready to go after about an hour.

Fast, friendly and offers shuttle service. The shuttle is set up with a barrier for COVID protection and everything was no contact and the driver wore a mask. They answered all my questions.

CB does great work and guarantees their repairs for up to 3 years now. They have replaced a engine in one of my cars and it runs perfect. I highly recommend them for minor and major repairs.

Being brand new to Texas, I have been learning a lot about the state systems out here. I was looking for somewhere to take our vehicles for our state inspection to get a roll on registration stuff here. There were a lot of places that’s came up when searching, but the reviews of Christian Brothers here on Oakmont in southwest Fort Worth really stuck out to me. Coming from California this system has been a lot different to navigate, but the the guys over here have been such a big help to me learning how this system rolls. They are top notch!Looking forward to coming to them for further automotive care and will definitely revisit this once I do. Until then, not one negative thing I can say right now.Also, their waiting room is so comfortable that you don’t mind waiting for your car here. They provide WiFi for you to connect with and have a productive wait if you need that.

I was recommended to them by CarMax and after dealing with Christian Brothers, I think I would rather just go straight to them next time instead of carmax! This was my first experience with Christian Brothers. I was impressed with the look of the facility and personnel. Clean and professional. I had a 4-wheel alignment done. They checked me in quickly, called me when the car was ready, and drove the car to the office entrance so I could leave quickly.They gave me a printout showing the before and after alignment measurements. Fantastic, quick service. Friendly faces. We walked in today for a simple inspection for our pickup. We didnt have our insurance card on us, so they let us have it faxed over. The inspection was super fast. When they were finished, they brought our vehicle to the front door and left it running with the ac on for us. We were handed the report and told we had a blown fuse that they changed for us. He said we were good to go. We said we still needed to pay. He told us it was taken care of, just remember them the next time we need work done. We have never been treated so well at an automotive shop before. Well definitely be back. Thanks again!

I had just had a bumper to bumper pre-purchase used car inspection at a shop I trusted but that didn’t do alignments. I knew exactly what was right and wrong with the car before I brought it in for an alignment. For kicks I let Christian Brothers do their free courtesy inspection. What they reported to me lined up exactly with what I had paid for in the other report. They didn’t yank my chain and gin things up to make a fast buck. I will certainly be back with my other cars.

They took care of me! I’ve gone here twice for two different repairs. They are upfront about the cost, they are honest and excellent communicators. I don’t typically trust mechanics, but I really like this place.The second time using them, I brought my truck in. They did a repair. The truck seemed perfect, however, it would not start the morning after picking it up. I am a Teacher and it’s hard for me to have a good time dropping the truck off. They drove to my school to pick up the keys, then drove the opposite direction and picked up my vehicle from my house while I was at work! They got me fixed right!Staff is also very friendly!

Having any issues with your vehicle in general can be a stressor— I am a novice in regards to car repairs, and Doug walked me through the steps with a genuine interest in educating me on the issues at hand, and handled all interactions with professional patience and kindness. When asking a series of seemingly redundant questions, he continued to thoughtfully connect the dots and actually educate me, versus dismiss my inquiries or negate them. He was also very considerate of my vocational hours and worked with me to ensure all of my needs were met while accommodating my hectic work schedule. I will forever recommend Christian Brothers Automotive, and specifically Doug, to any friend, family or co worker who has any issues with their vehicle. Received a call from service manager of Christian Brothers Automotive about week ago. Didnt have time to talk, needed to get my son to doctor he was sick. Took my car to CBA about 3 weeks prior to have suspension components checked and alignment performed. By the front desk guy Jeff, components looked good and had alignment performed. After that I drove to work. On my way, noticed steering wheel wasnt straight and a lot of shaking, basically it was not a smooth ride. Next day, I called and talked to a Jeff not sure if it was the same guy. He asked me what was going on and I explained. He seemed pretty sure it wasnt anything they did. So I put up with this for another few days and it got to the point that my car is not safe to drive anymore. Drove short distance back to CBA, they inspected it. They discovered front driver side tire with a bubble was about to blow out. They said I had to replace tire before they can check alignment. So I did within about hour. Contacted them right after which was about 10 a.m., but they couldnt schedule me until next morning. And after all that, I was told wheel is aligned was good. Pretty much I was called a liar. Until this day, alignment is slightly off. Wont be taking any of our cars back for now.

This car repair shop always treats its customers well. They do a thorough job, and only undertake a repair after they’ve spoken with the vehicle owner about the need for it, the price, and how long it will take. Their waiting room is very clean and comfortable, and stocked with complementary water and coffee and even little candies. They also have free Wi-Fi. I must admit, I do know the owners. However, if they sold the shop, I would still come here.

I had my cars alternator and radiator replaced here few days ago. Good service and friendly staff. But I felt the labor cost was on a bit higher side. Also they intially denied dropping me off to my home but after few minutes they offered to drop me off but I didnt avail as I was bit disappointed. Overall I am satisfied with their service. Second time I have gone into Christian brothers, and second time the exact same thing happened. I will not be returning. I go in for an inspection. I walk out needing $4000 in repairs and a salesperson using fear tactics to get me to replace everything under the hood and a part of the frame! My car is worth $6000. I took it to my regular mechanic, he laughed and fixed my car for $300 dollars. This exact same thing happened to my wifes car a couple years ago, since the mechanic I trust fixed it for a fraction of the price Christian Brothers quoted, I have not had a single issue. I told this story to a co-worker, he laughed and said, Christian brothers, some of those guys work for the devil.If a part is not brand new, say its not brand new, dont say, it could break any moment and leave you or your wife stranded on the highway or worse.Also, the catalytic converter was not absolutely necessary to fix in order to pass inspection. The battery and sparkplug were old causing the catalytic converter readings to be false. The catalytic converter was working great. That was just one an example of $1000 dollars my mechanic saved. Again, he cost me $300, you guys quoted me $4,000 (and, according to their sales team, if I didnt pay, than I was reckless and a bad husband, father).Dont go here. Go to Estrella Auto Sales.

I made an appointment to have my wifes cars a/c wasnt getting cold.Prior to having the vehicles A/C diagnosed,we had a few parts replaced(a/c system related parts),and a few of the parts replaced were some of the same parts that was added to the quote to repair the a/c in my wifes car.I feel as if i was being PRICE GOUGED due to the buisness not being able to operate at full PROFIT Capabilities. I was very dissatisfied with not only the unprofessional customer service but also the way i feel i was disrespected with the fee that i was told it would take to repair something that didnt need A few of the parts that were on the quote.The area that i live in shouldnt have A value on FAIR BUISNESS PRACTICING.

I can not say enough nice things about Christian Brothers and this branch. They have gone beyond typical service repeatedly. Most recently they came to my home, picked up my car, and charged the battery AND did not charge me. Additionally this is a true trustworthy friendly atmosphere. We take all our family cars there and have consistently had excellent diagnostics and repairs at very reasonable prices and with the most pleasant staff I could ever imagine. My family is so fortunate to have found them. They are now the official car repair of Costco which really says something as well.TRUST, SERVICE, FAMILY ATMOSPHERE, INCREDIBLE CARE. It is a home run.

They took to long to diagnose the problem with my truck. Then quoted me a price that was twice as much as what the dealership quoted. I will never take my truck there again, nor will I recommend them to anyone!

You can think of Christian Brothers as the Chick Fil A of mechanic shops. The inside is pretty small but the couches are very comfy and they have a small refrigerator with bottled water and a Keurig with stocked coffee pods. The guy at the front was friendly and helpful. I had a diagnostic done and the wait time was about 40 minutes. Since they didnt find any issues, I didnt have to pay the fee and they let me know that my rear brake pads need to be changed soon. They brought my car to the front when it was done, which I really appreciate. I also received a text with a link to the services done and a picture of my car in the garage. That was cool! Overall, a really pleasant experience.

Went in with a check engine light from misfires. After the typical checks, they recommended a valve adjustment.In my experience: The mechanic recommends a job, and you give the OK. Once you give the OK, youre charged no matter what the outcome, since they put in the labor and parts.Turns out, the valve adjustment didnt fix the problem.The next step is to replace the cylinder head. That was going to be another ~$3200, but I was told they werent going to charge at all for the valve adjustment (something like $400), since it wasnt the actual problem.Say what? They did the job, put in the labor, but it wasnt the required fix, so no charge.I wasnt prepared to drop the $3200, so I told them the cylinder job would have to wait. I was able to drive off their lot spending a pretty minimal sum of money. Ive never had a mechanic give up the labor time, even when they were wrong about what job would fix the problem. This thing happens all the time, Ive spent a lot of money letting the mechanic hunt for the problem.For someone who has been lied to, had mechanics break things (literally explaining that they broke something during the job, yet I am the one who has to pay for it), and had all sorts of attempted jobs because something was broken when I knew it wasnt... this place was a massive relief to have found.I found them by doing a quick Google search. 50+ reviews with 5 stars average for an auto repair shop? Thats a sight to see.Also, they appear to store every vehicle at night. I left my car there and ran a quick errand with my wife. We came back after they were closed, and all cars were in their bays. What a nice touch.If you need work, give these people a visit.

Very pleased with my first experience with Christian Brothers. Easy to get an appt, they kept me informed during the day as to their findings, and picked me up promptly when finished. I’m happy to use this company for minor and major maintenance or repairs.

I have been working with Christian Brothers on Oakmont for 3 months to get overdue maintenance and other repairs done as my budget allowed. I really appreciate their non-pressure attitude and willingness to work on my schedule. Their waiting room is always clean and comfortable and water and coffee are always offered. Best car repair experience. So glad they are in my neighborhood. Keep up the great work!!!!

I feel very safe taking my car there and I know that theyre not going to try and nickel-and-dime me or upsell me. Theyll even let you drop your car off and then will drive you home if you need. I would highly recommend them to any and everyone.
