If you want your sound equipment fixed these are your guys. I had a bass amp that had been given to a couple of different places for repair with no luck. Adam and the rest of the staff here got the hard to source parts needed for the repair and fixed an issue that was hard for most to diagnose and to resolve. Great customer service and very professional.I had a problem with a driver I purchased about 3 months ago. They didnt hesitate offering me three different solutions. All of which I considered to be above and beyond your normal customer service. They took the time to explain why my speaker failed.The owner even called another local speaker manufacturer / designer to see if they had an appropriate driver for my installation in stock. I will recommend them to all of my friends and family without hesitation.

Our church used another shop for years but then we started having an issue with our speakers and our old shop kept telling us nothing wrong. We started using this one and they could not reproduce the issue at first but they kept trying and trying and figured out exactly what the issue was. I have two Cerwin Vega D-9 speakers that I bought in 1985 and the 15 woofers are disintegrating with age. I needed someone who could re-build them to their original state. DFW Speaker Repair came highly recommended so I chose them for the job. I am happy to report that DFW rebuilt the woofers and cleaned up the speakers. When I picked them up and listened to them - I couldnt tell them from the originals!

Dropped in to get some parts for some vintage JBLs for a pair of cabinets Im restoring. They had what I needed and were very knowledgable. I will defiantly be back for other future projects or even just for advice. The guy that helped me (Im bad with names) even gave me advice to avoid traffic for my journey home. He even helped me out to the car since my 3 year old son was acting like, well, like a 3 year old.

I bought a bass amp from ZZ Sounds but I did not understand how impedance and Olms worked. I went to DFW repair and they took 20 minutes to explain in detail how my amp worked. They are very knowledgeable. I will absolutely go back there with any other future amp or speaker problems I might have.RM

I had a intermittent power problem with a couple QSC K12s and was dreading having to either ship them or drive half way across the state and wait for months to get them back, let alone the costs. So after searching a bit I called DFW Speaker Repair. They said bring em in. Adam gave me a cost estimate, called me after a few days, took the time to explain exactly what the problem was and floored me with a more than fair charge. I was tickled to hear that they do all sorts of repairs so I took an old, crackling Mackie S808 to them. Ken got it sounding like new. I also bought 2 used k-12s from them. Extremely professional speakers and other sound reinforcement equipments.

So I had a Subwoofer go out on me. I called these guys and I told them what the problem was. They asked me to bring the speaker in. So I asked them what was there turn around time. He said it depends on if they have the parts in stock or not. So I brought the speaker in. And when I got there I was asked a few question about my problem with the speaker. He asked me if I had a few minutes. I did, so he took it in the back and checked it out and with in 10 minutes the speaker was fixed. WOW. What great service that was. And while I was waiting, I think it was Adam that was talking to me. I had asked him about the Chauvet Intimidator™ Spot LED 350 that was displayed in the showroom. He plugged it up and showed me what this light can do. It was a pretty nice light for the price tag and Light weight. If I ever have any problems again with any of my equipment and or looking to buy some lighting. I would give these guys a call first. They were very nice guys. And the service was top notch. Fantastic! I bought a new Vox AC30 amp a week ago from a local music store. I loved it but I wanted to swap out the stock Celestion Greenback speakers with a pair of Celestion Alnico Blues so I ordered them from a place on the web. So, I get the speakers and decided I didnt want to risk screwing up my brand new amp so I called around to find a local service place to do it for me and was discouraged because everyones turnaround time was way too long and too expensive.That is until I found DFW Speaker Repair. I called them up and the guy said Sure, we can do that and I asked the turnaround and cost to which he replied Oh... about $35 and maybe half an hour or so...while you wait if you can get here before 3pm or so...WOW! I took the amp and new speakers up there and within 30 minutes I was good to go! All for just under $40! I was EXTREMELY happy with their service AND their attitude. Both of the guys I talked with were great and very knowledgable about the speaker and amp questions I had (and I had a bunch)HIGHLY recommended! Why cant every place be like this? Thanks DFW speaker! I stopped by for an instrument cable repair. DFW Speaker Repair had repaired the cable when my dog chewed it through, but the repair pulled loose over time.Ernest added a heavy-gauge section with a lot of adhesive to prevent wear-related slippage. It didnt take long, and they considered the work to be under warranty.
