I went to the American freight in Fort Worth by Ridgmar Mall to purchase a mattress set. Not knowing which mattress to buy a young man by the name of Jacob offered his assistance. Jacob helped us select the right mattress. Jacob was very courteous and patient. It appears that at the time of my visit the store may have been under staffed but Jacob was able to handle multiple customer Transactions and still keep his cool and patience with everyone. Many thanks to Jacob and his warehouseman who was just as courteous after recently be transferred from their camp Bowie store.

Absolutely fantastic customer service. The manager (Jacob) really went above and beyond spending time helping me find what I was looking for as well as doing an excellent job of sorting out issues. The staff was very friendly and helpful with loading the furniture, but I cannot stress enough how much Jacob improved the experience. I hadnt been to an American Freight before but the excellent customer service and low prices will absolutely bring me back for my next couch/table.

The prices are good and they look like they have more variety than most outlets. the two stars are for the staff who did not greet us when we walked in, we were the only customers in the whole place and when I needed help I was dismissed. Finally after being there for 20-30 minutes looking on our own, a young man came back and answered several questions. And he was way more helpful than the woman who was there yesterday. She made me feel like I was a nuisance. We left without purchasing but I might go back if I needed something on a budget.

As everyone is probably aware, this Texas snow storm we got was horrendous. Creating damages after damages especially where I live. One such as those, was the constant power shut downs we experienced. It was so bad that it somehow managed to fry the logic board on my washer. Long story short, I went to this American Freight store to look around and see if I could spot anything that was in my budget. Through out the whole process the store Manager Jacob that was helping me, made it feel like I was talking to a friend. He made the process so much easier than I thought it was. Unprofessional, I have worked at Sears 20 yrs.sold Appliances,Montgomery Wards 22 yrs.I was looking for black Dishwasher.found one it had KitchenAid price on LG.The Lady there that suppose to be manager,she would not tell me her name Trala/Trula the guys told me.She was poor help.While I was in the store my co-worker who worked at Sears 36 plus yrs. ask me did I find anything. I told him they had the price and name of dishwasher all messed up.She could not find anyth6for a while.Because I told him that everything was messed up she told me if I am gonna talk about her store get out.And if you dont I will call the police now I am on the phone.I said call them.Two men that work there ask me if I dont my please leave .She is tripping so it wont be any trouble they just want to go home. I did not have all day to wait if she called the police.I remain very respectful but I told her I going to report this to corporate. I did and have not gotten acall yet and it has been 5 days.This lady is a poor excuse for manager.There are good people out there that need a job.No respond from management.

Jacob and the rest of his crew are fantastic. It is out of our way to go to this store, but we make the trip every few weeks because of several reasons. 1. Great Prices - I mean exceptionally great. 2. Very helpful staff who answer questions and help carry out and load the car with the heavier items. 3. The selection has actually been quite good for an outlet store. It seems that new items are added every several weeks as well. Every time we go they have something new that we buy that they didnt have last time. 4. Treasures to be found that you didnt even know you were looking for. - Every time we go, I end up with 3 or more things that were not on my shopping list... but when I saw the price, I had to buy it.Conclusion: We have never been disappointed shopping at this store. I have recommended it to several friends who live an hour away in different directions. They also have loaded up with stuff and they were very thankful I turned them onto this American Freight store. Kudos Jacob!

Go with mom to buy new refrigerator, sales lady is super nice and helpful, they have Whirlpool refrigerators that look identical but one has more shelves than the other, mom buys the one with more shelves, gets delivered and shelves are missing, call them to ask about shelves and didnt get to talk to sales lady but someone else, they say we have to pay extra for the shelves that are missing, we payed for them when bought, so canceled payment on the card and waiting to see how they want to proceed

After a deplorable experience with Home Depot CONTINUALLY rescheduling my delivery for a washer (that was supposed to be in stock! LIES LIES LIES) and offering me nothing but excuses, I cancelled my purchase.I was in a terrible, angry mood about the ordeal but decided to stop at American Freight. The manager, Jacob was knowledgeable, understanding and found me a better deal than any other competitor AND IT WAS IN STOCK!!. I highly recommend this store! Ask for Jacob. My wife and I have been on the hunt for a new counter depth refrigerator for our new home for a couple of weeks now. We have looked at many stores and when we stopped in at American Freight we were immediately greeted by the friendly staff. Chandra showed us around and helped us find exactly what we were looking for. She knew what we wanted and didn’t push us towards anything else. We were so impressed with her and the manager Jacob. Jacob was very friendly and super helpful during the process as well. We ended up purchasing a patio table and even a dog toy for our new golden doodle puppy. I’ve had nothing but good experiences at this location and the Camp Bowie location. Today I purchased a washer and dryer and it was supposed to be delivered the next day but Phillip, the delivery man, said he would take it to us same day! By the time we got home he was pulling in behind us. He was really fast with getting everything inside and installing our set, as well. I had the best experience both times I was at the Town Square store. I went in on Sunday and spoke with Tara and she went above and beyond to show me what they had and told me about the new inventory that would be coming on Tuesday. Went back on Tuesday for a washer and walked out with washer and dryer and several other items. Jacob went above and beyond to make me a very satisfied customer. They both knew about the products and knew their inventory. I will definitely continue business with them and send others to this location.

Daemon and Donald delivered my refrigerator like superstars! They maneuvered the fridge into the space with caution so as not to cause any damage to my walls or furniture, which necessitated taking the fridge doors off. There was not a scratch or a smudge anywhere. Once they had it in place, they expertly replaced the doors and switched the handles to the opposite site so that it opened on the correct side for the space that it was in. They took every bit of time that was necessary to do the job correctly. So happy with their service!!Chandra, in-store, provided excellent customer service making sure to have everything ready to purchase after speaking by phone. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Just bought an LG fridge from this store. This is my first making an appliance purchase and I drove 45 miles to the FE store for this fridge. I was pleasantly surprised as the two sales gentlemen were extremely nice, courteous and very friendly. They offered us good advice on the various modes and the protection plan. They took care of the entire process seamlessly including parts and delivery. I would strongly encourage visiting this store. I would absolutely be coming to this store for my future appliance purchases as well.

***Long preface BEGINS!***My fiancée and I found ourselves running out of space today(2/3/21) in our fridge/freezer unit, and decided to future proof it with the purchase of a new standing freezer (unit #4812.)So, with a big order of frozen groceries inbound to our home, we decide to rent a truck and go buy the freezer.We drive to the store(location 1265 Town Square) and they get us out of the store with a box that’s taller than the truck.Good, we are on track to save the frozen food that is now sitting on our front porch.We get home and my fiancée and I unload the unit ourselves (only needing to take a few rest breaks) while we moved it into position in its new resting home.I return the rental truck, return home, and get to work; I take off the protective packing and walk away for a celebratory beer- only for her to point out it’s a fridge, and not at all what we had ordered. You can imagine how crushing this blow was to me, I think “maybe we can make this work,” but my soon-to-be-wife disagrees.I’m dreading the thought of having to start the process all over again, all while our food is slowly melting.***Preface ended, review STARTS!!***This is where Phillip, the MAN, steps in to save the day. He was all the way out in Addison(!!!) and agreed to correct the problem, even as we live in Everman. He makes the trip back to the Ft Worth location all the way from Addison(!!!), loads his truck with the correct item, gives me a call when he is on his way with my new freezer. He shows up promptly with a smile on his face, and a single unit in his truck; without even checking, I knew he had the correct unit in tow.I just ruined this dude’s evening and he shows up with a smile. Amazing. We talk while he performs his job duties very efficiently, ensuring the product with correct, and even hauling off the trash from the incorrect fridge.He made quick work of the delivery; and quick work turning my mood around.As a former employer- with delivery drivers(of which I started out as) among my employees, I can say without a shadow of a doubt, this man deserves investment. He’s a smart dude with ambition, great customer service, and knows what operating a business is about. If it wasn’t for Phillip, I would be writing a very different review.If I’m ever in the need for furniture or an appliance again- which I probably will be, this man just made me a repeat customer.
