My experience working with Coremark has been great! Friendly staff and very happy with the the Z pieces I wanted for the album rack.

These guys are awesome. Counter sales staff was helpful and genuinely friendly! Their prices were great and they have a true drop selection. It is a 45min drive for me, but I saved about 25% on my Aluminum purchase, not drop material.I will be using them in the future.

This is the first time Ive been, and coremark medals was awesome! Their internet was down when I showed up and they were processing all orders by hand. Taking care of customers as fast as efficiently as they could. They have a massive selection of stock and an additional huge selection of pre laser cut designs, patterns, squares, and gussets.10/10 absolutely will be back!

Great place to get materials for fabrication projects. Store is very well organized, friendly, and clean!! Great place to go for everyone from weekend DIYer to professional welder/ fabricators. Also does fab work and processing as well.

I needed a stainless trim piece to go under a new cooktop. Coremark made it for 1/3 of the price of the big online trim specialists and the steel is twice as thick . I requested a quote online and got a call from a salesperson within hours. They sent a spec, I approved and paid over the phone and picked it up two business days later. It looks great! I cant recommend these guys enough. They treated my one-off consumer part like I was a regular client.

I had reached out asking for a quote and details and not only did he answer every single annoying question I asked but was never rude or seemed frustrated despite me blowing up his email. Used to be a great place to buy metal but last few visit service has been horrible. Upon my last visit, I was asked by their new gate guard (ex military dude with a chip on his shoulder) to verify all my purchases before I could leave( like its Costco or something). The entire process was a joke. (mind you I had only bought 60$ in drop material). A few days later I had the Owner Diane call me and ask me to give the employee a chance to do his job next time? Needless to say I will be going to Short Iron Store from now on exclusively where all the good Former talent from discount went to work.

I enjoy welding as a homeowner and hobbyist so most of my project are small scale so acquiring odds and ends has been a challenge until I found Discount Steel. Their indoors retail area has a myriad of different kinds of metals, pre cut to various sizes and shapes to select from and larger projects are no problem either. You just cant understand what a great place Discount Steel is until you have been to a place like Norton Metals off of Blue Mound Rd. and ask for a 2 piece of anything or a drop and watch the person behind the counter eyes roll back in his head. Norton Steel cares absolutely nothing about people like myself. Discount Steel on the other hand seems to value every sale no matter how small. I feel so fortunate to live close to their location on Hicks Road.

Great selection of full length, cuts, and drop material. Best of all theyre open on Saturday. The in-store measuring tape is awesome because its inevitable that I show up needing one after forgetting mine.

Purchased 1/2 plate aluminum to be cut to a particular length. Received bent metal plates outside of the tolerances they promise. One was also 1/8 over cut. Called to have them exchanged, was told I needed to send a picture. The customer is always right, they should have asked me to bring them in for an exchange, not ask for me to provide proof. If it turned out I was wrong (I wasnt) and they werent bent or bowed, then they could have addressed it then. I dont appreciate needing to provide evidence in order to have my concerns addressed. Its insulting. I already bought new plates from someone else. An expensive lesson, but now I know where I need to go for quality manufacturing

I bought a square of 1/2 inch aluminum plate that cost $24.00 after I checked other suppliers. They quoted $48.00 plus $12.00 shipping. It cost me about $3.00 worth of gas to drive to Discount Steel so I saved a bundle. Recommended.

They have a great selection of random smaller pieces and most seem to run around .60 per pound. This place was pretty much everything I hoped it would be!

Horrible place every time I have been. This t ine it took over 39 minutes after the order was placed to get one piece of metal just off the rack. Not to mention 3 calls back to the warehouse to be told it was on its way.Save yourself the trouble and got to NORTON STEEL 5 minutes down the road.
