My son and I are here frequently as he is a musician. We have purchased an electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic/electric guitar, acoustic guitar and an electric drum set there. Every one of those experiences has been excellent! Their staff is technically knowledgeable, professional and friendly! Outstanding service and products!

The place is like a mall, everything has its own room. You can easily spend 4 hours here and not realize it.

Went here over the weekend to check out their new showroom and its way better than the old showroom, they now have a dedicated room to each instrument such as: keyboard room, synthesizer room, acoustic guitar room, electric guitar room, bass guitar room and a few other rooms! They also have 2 guitar demo rooms and they now let you try out guitar pedals. This is a really great place for any musician!

Went to see Ft.Wayne philharmonic and Queen tribute band,perform to an audience of 2300 plus, had a great time at the Sweetwater Pavillion. Performance and staff were outstanding. Cant wait for more shows.

Ashton, Michael, and everyone else I spoke with were very knowledgeable and happy to help. The food in the cafeteria was surprisingly good. I used the grease from my pizza to lubricate the slide. I came out of it so fast, something crazy happened. Turns out I somehow ended up in the year 1955, and had accidentally prevented my parents from meeting. After a lot of crazy hijinks, I solved my problem but ended up with Parkinsons disease.

Such a beautiful place. The staff are all so friendly and knowledgeable.. And seem like they actually care, and want to help you, unlike other music stores. For such a big store, it feels like a old school mom and pop shop.. I Will definitely make the trip out there again.

Biggest music store Ive ever seen. The cafeteria alone will seat hundreds. Definitely worth a stop if youre in the area even if youre not into music production. They run tours as well but I didnt do that. We just saw it driving by on our way out west. Glad we stopped. Theres even professional studios inside where big name bands come to record. We didnt see but a fraction.. and there was another area under construction that will be open soon.

This was easily the most extensive and impressive music store Ive ever been in. Surprisingly good service considering the size of the place. It was worth the drive to check out the showroom in person versus ordering online. I got to try so many new guitars before picking out mine.

I havent made the trip to the store in Fort Wayne yet, but I wanted to review the company because of the great customer service we received with our online order. Weve been looking at buying a bass guitar and decided to first buy some small supplies and see how the shipping experience is. After we ordered we got a phone call from a real person and the very person who had emailed the order confirmation. Who does that? We were amazed and delighted and were planning to purchase the bass with Sweetwater soon.

I live nearby a popular chain music store, but without a question buying online from Sweetwater is far superior. Taylor was so helpful in helping me find the right equipment for my needs and interests, as opposed to upselling me. The communication was really exceeded all expectations -- fast and informative. And, everything shipped immediately. Sweetwater and Taylor definitely earned and deserve the five-start rating.

What a candy store for musicians. If youre in Fort Wayne its worth it just to poke around and see what they got. Sales associates were super super helpful in helping me find what I needed both times I went. Even items I needed to see but didnt buy.Go in there with a few hours to spend because it can take a few minutes if you want to look at something for them to get it from the warehouse side of the building.Some of the upper management looked a little stiff but otherwise, was a five-star shopping experience.

I dont typically write reviews, in fact I think it is my first, but yesterday was the first time I went to this establishment and wanted to share my experience.My wifes birthday is coming up and I went to Sweetwater Sound to buy her a keyboard. I found the one I wanted and Sam set me up to checkout. He said there were 3 in stock and we got a bundle to go along with the keyboard. He rang me up, but when setting up curbside pickup at the warehouse, he stated they were actually out of stock. Sam asked when my wifes birthday was and started looking at options. He knew it was in the next couple of days and I understood that this happens and thought he was giving me a date when they would have it in, but instead he found another option. This option was actually better than the one I found and Sam set me up with an upgraded bundle. He also wanted to give me a Sweetwater t-shirt to give to my wife on behalf of the store for her birthday.Needless to say, my wife was VERY pleased. I was blown away by the customer service and professionalism. I will be a frequent customer at Sweetwater Sound!Thank you again Sam for all your help!

What a gorgeous place! I loved seeing all they had to offer. Not a lot with actual sheet music but if you ever need brand new instruments, repairs, or want to check their resale items, this is definitely the place. I definitely want to come back for a concert as well! Super helpful staff and an overall wonderful experience.

Normally a five star experience but I will no longer do business with them after this. Placed an order using their payment option and the sale went through only to have them call me the next day to say they wouldn’t and need another payment option. I had the cash outright to buy it and I could have but felt pretty insulted. So I took my money to Musicians Friend and bought the drums at even better price. This time I didn’t opt for payments. Now this gift can arrive in time for a loved one without delays or worries.

Ive been a Sweetwater customer for over 13 years. I discovered it through an ad years ago and realized that it had exactly what I needed for my audio needs. Way back then in California, I was assigned a personal sales representative, Dan. About 10 years later I moved from California to Indiana. Ironically Im now only about 30 minutes from the world headquarters. Interestingly, that same sales representative, Dan, is still with me over all the years and all the miles. Whether I go to the store and shop there or shop online, I always get great service. Whether I go in and spend $2 on a clearance item or $200 like this week or even $2,000 to $4,000 on a big purchase, I always get excellent service. Im not a fanboy and its not that I dont use other businesses occasionally for audio needs but with their 2-year warranty on virtually all products and the amazing training they do for their employees on products they sell, they really just cant be beat. They also give a lot back to the community which I think is a big plus. I highly recommend Sweetwater.

I was looking to buy some cymbals. Most places you are limited to whatever they happen to have in the showroom, but I wanted to actually hear the cymbals before purchasing them. I emailed Daniel Rivera (since he helped me with my last purchase) and asked if it would be possible to check out a couple different cymbal packs on a Saturday morning. I drove 3 hours...and it was worth it. Daniel set me up in a private room with the two cymbal packs I was interested in. He was extremely knowledgeable, but not arrogant or condescending at all. Very helpful and courteous. I ended up buying a bunch of stuff that day. They have a nice cafe in the building which is very reasonably priced. My wife sat in the cafe and worked on her laptop while I shopped. Very nice experience. Thank you, Mr. Rivera!

Great place to hang out with the family, they have a huge indoor slide, a pool table, free arcade games. Food is cheep and not bad at all! Super clean and beautiful architecture.They have a repair center!The music shop is great because everything has its own room. Makes it very organised and keeps the noise levels down.Super helpful staff!They have some exhibits that come through as well as many events and concerts!My only complaint as a musician is they lack folk and ethnic instruments.

My 1 star is for service repair. Needed several items repaired, was told items went through extensive testing and repair and yet the items still had same problems I brought them in with. Ive been ordering from Sweetwater for years and this was my first trip in person. WOW!! This place is massive. If I have to describe it, its like a mall, and each store is an instrument. Like drums, guitars, bass, used, recording, etc. Mind-blowing to see how massive and how much equipment is all on display to try. I was looking for something in particular and didnt see it on the floor. They placed my order and I was able to drive to the warehouse, which is just behind the store, and pick up my item there. It was brought right out to my car. This company has always impressed me with the customer service and pricing, but I am even more impressed seeing how large the operation truly is, and still receiving the one on one valued relationship they offer. It is hard to imagine the investment that this place required for construction alone. The human capital it takes to maintain it seems to be the secret sauce that brings them so much acclaim from musicians and industry support from vendors. This firm is probably the model to beat for any of the other high volume, internet based music retail giants. The staff appears to be both knowledgeable and ready to help you through complex purchases. I have ordered 2 custom guitars here as well as several effects pedals. I plan on buying more, and that says it all. If you cannot earn repeat business, you cannot survive a niche market.

Sweetwater. This is my favorite building on the face of the planet. Employees are extremely attentive and helpful. About any music instrument you could think of will be in the building. The building is set up perfectly, sections are clear and definitive, if you were to go inside as someone who didnt know what the building was you would be able to coordinate yourself easily. The building is so interesting to explore, you can find things you never wouldve imagined inside the building, such as a gym, a cafe, a salon, and much more. These guys are amazing! A week before an important gig my acoustic guitar preamp gave out and my backup pre also refused to work. Im on the west coast so I first looked locally. None of the two pres under consideration were in stock. I called Sweetwater.At a time when almost every transaction is automated I easily got a real live knowledgeable representative on the phone who helped me choose my replacement pre. I explained the situation with the gig a week away and he just said no problem. It was Friday about lunch time in Indiana.
