This is a good old boys store that allows certain people/companies privileges but not others. Price gouging is a common practice. If you are getting the “contractor discount” you are paying 200% more than a normal walk in customer.

Great locally owned business. Good pricing, great service, and they truly have all phase equipment. Needed a three phase breaker and they had it in stock. I have been back several times since my first visit.
