My wife and I stopped in at Jo-Ann fabrics and crafts on Coldwater road today. We hadnt been in there in a while. My wife hadnt been doing much sewing since the pandemic. There was a sign on the door that said the employees all wear masks. I didnt see a sign requiring customers to wear masks.Usually when I go Im just a tag along. But we both noticed that everything seemed a little disorganized. Perhaps theyre in the middle of moving things around we werent sure. There was one long area where it looks like they had gotten rid of an aisle and forgotten to mop underneath before they put an aisle back over it.I noticed their picture frames seemed very very expensive. We also noticed some other items that seemed a little high priced.My wife likes sewing and I like doing all sorts of artwork. I was a little put off when I saw all their pens and drawing tools were locked behind glass out of reach. I probably would have looked at a couple of them but didnt really feel like hunting down a worker and dragging them back just so I could get the feel of a couple drawing tools.We were in there for about 35 minutes. We saw plenty of workers, and yet no one asked us if we needed any help or even said hello. We saw a few sets of workers standing around talking. I suppose you could say they were working.All in all we were just looking around for some inspiration for some craft things to do, perhaps some sewing perhaps some drawing but in the end we just left. Maybe it would have been different if we knew exactly what we were looking for. I would have given them a two on their score, but since we didnt know what we were looking for we both decided they deserved at least a three.Maybe well be back when we decide to do some curtains or something.

JoAnn has almost everything you need for crafts. It is my go to spot for craft supplies, and all kinds of cool stuff.

Great place to buy cloth and thread and everything else needed for sewing. A whole lot of craft stuff.You can use multiple coupons at the same time. And there is always a 20% off your whole cart full.Do make sure to sign up at the JoAnn website and they will email you coupons like 2 or 3 a week.When you get up to the cloth cutting table, make sure to take a ticket umber. Sometimes there is a lot of people waiting and the ticket is great since there is no form or line.Of course, the 40% or the 50% coupon is only good on one item that is not already on sale! And just about all the cloth in the store is already on sale. But thread and notions work with the coupon.There is always staff stocking and organizing the stock, that you can ask for help finding stuff or hints and help with your project. And if they do not know, they will find somebody who does know! And the staff at Joanns fabric is very knowledgeable and creative.The reason for only getting 4 stars instead of 5 is that it is August 2020 and it seams the whole store is filled with flannel and heavy fabrics for the fall and winter and very few bolts of thin summer cottons. And also the coupon game. If you do not know about the on line coupons, you get ripped off by having to pay full price.

They have all you need for upholstery, sewing, craft, decoration and all the things that help to transform your creative ideas into stunning reality. Their coupons, sales and clearance items add a pleasant dimension to the shopping experience. Cashiers are rather patient and helpful too.

The clerk was very helpful. I asked about coupon on my phone. She helped me find it and I used it. Now I will be able to do that regularly.

What a nice clean and bright store. I was really impressed with their great yarn collection. The employee that helped me was friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be back!

Good location with a decent selection. This is an older store, but not a really old location that is super-small and outdated. It is well-lit with decent-sized aisles. Each time I’ve shopped, there’s been adequate staffing, so the lines aren’t terribly long.

There is always a long line, however cashier was helpful and friendly. They did not make me wait in a long line to make a return. They had 4 checkouts open which helped the line move faster.

Newly remodeled, lots to see. I see that crafts are taking over the store.

Quiet atmosphere, helpful workers. Coupon site was down but check out helped me out with coupons. Love the variety of fabrics. Highly recommend.

Great place to get craft supplies.

I’ve been coming here since the beginning of COVID to scoop up cloth / fabric to make custom masks; I’m never disappointed with their selection. I do hope they had a wider selection of resin casts / molds but was still able to make due. Definitely my favorite and affordable fabric / craft store.

They have a lot of items for whatever your crafting or working on..we are all into the diamond painting and they have a great selection to choose from and normally they are on sale 40% off!

I love an hate this store, has the best fabric option but Ive never experienced anything but rudeness from the staff. Multiple times, months apart yet still rude. I guess its because I dont LOOK like I should be in a fabric store lol.

I went in looking for black string for a Halloween project. A very helpful clerk greeted me and asked if I needed assistance. I explained what I was looking for and she took me to a couple different aisles and showed me different things that I could use. I really appreciated the help.

Always a helpful staff, always super stocked, and the staff is prompt at checking everyone out in a timely manner.

All of the employees are absolutely passionate, and are always eager to help even if theyre constantly busy. Getting some fabric cut to order is always a breeze here, they run the line super fast and are super careful when cutting the length.

Great selection and decent sales. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Curbside pickup during COVID is quick and effective. And most importantly: its not Hobby Lobby!

Wait times are always way too long at Fort Wayne location . I waited with three people cutting fabric . I was number 79 and two people ahead of me had 12 and 25 bolts each to cut . Took forever . Then my lady scanned material at 2.00 more per yard. My main reason for the review is to give my sweet check out girl Gweneth a compliment . She was a five star worker .

Store was well kept and clean. Almost everything didnt have a price tag and finding a sales person was impossible.

Oh my goodness, this is my first time coming here and will not be my last. We usually go to hobby lobby which is 3 times more expensive.Almost everything was marked 30-60% off, which you cant beat that. They also let us choose from a table of numerous free items that you got with purchase.Their selection of wreaths was amazing!! Hobby lobby had not even 1/3 of the amount they had. They had a variety of sizes and colors. The staff working that department was super friendly and helpful.I spent $30 and easily walked out with $80 worth of stuff!! This is my new go to.

I always love Joann Fabrics when I shop there. I can wonder the aisles for hours. They have a great selection. On my last visit I had a problem with my transaction. While the cashiers were not overly interested in helping resolve it. When we asked for a manager. She quickly came and was more then helpful. While she couldnt solve everything for us, she still went above and beyond. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Its a nice fabric/craft store. Very pricey and buyer beware if you want to return an item, there is charge for it.

They often have coupons that will come in handy for saving a few extra bucks. Catch the sales and youll really rack up!

The staff is amazing. After I explained what my project was, Alexis gave other options and ideas that were brilliant. Selection is great. Competitor coupons help lower costs but the prices are competitive with other stores.

I went shopping for fabric and some other items for my wife, who usually does the shopping. The employees were very helpful and very patient, even though it was clear I didnt know what I was doing 🙂 The only unfortunate thing was that several fabrics were out of stock, but hopefully they will be in next time.

Was in need of some material, rope and thread to make a Santa Claus toy bag. Found the gold cloth, white rope and gold thread that I needed to make the bag. My grand-daughter, Madison, volunteered to make the toy bag and she did a perfect replica of Santas toy bag!!! I still use it today!!! JOANN Fabrics had exactly what I needed and was looking for!! The one negative thing about JOANN Fabrics is the long wait line to purchase your items in the cashiers line!!! Especially if it is during a holiday season or evening rush hour time!!Also, its difficult to find an associate to ask questions if youre not very knowledgeable in the area of sewing! Otherwise, JOANN Fabrics has everything you would ever want in the areas of crafts and sewing!!

Joann is pushing curb side pick up. Even reward dollars are only useable online now! I ordered items and I had one thing cancelled as out of stock. I go to pick up my order and browse a bit. Almost every item I’d ordered was still in the store. So now I’m In line to check out and get my online order. My order was 145.00 but my pick up total was 23.00! They cancelled almost all of my order and didn’t tell me, but everything cancelled was in the store! I couldn’t get anything cuz it was closing time. I didn’t get my plant stands and that was my primary item in my order I was so excited to get! (2 people in line behind me had the last 2 so I couldn’t even get them in store now!). I’m just mad. The employees were too lazy to pick my order.

I used to go a lot when I did a lot of sewing and crafts, but don’t really do that stuff anymore. But I’ll always recommend Joann’s for their wide selection and good coupons!

I had a million transactions in one visit because I was buying gifts and things for myself but misunderstood the sale signs and thought the sale price were doorbusters, and not eligible for the 20% off total purchase coupon. I went back to return and repurchase the items with the coupon, had a few special orders submitted and Ari was a saint through the whole process. The staff here, like Jasmine, are not only sweet but so professional with even the rudest of customers. The store is usual well stocked and clean, ample parking spots. Highly recommend.

The staff here is amazing and super fr9endly even when the place is packed. They always have some type of sale on fabrics so it is worth it to check it out regularly. A chain store that has decent prices for decent quality! Large store, easily noticed in traffic, certainly has a large variety of items. Prices are decent, quality of items are decent. Hours of operation are decent! Depending on the time of day and maybe even the time of season QuikTrips are not actually all that quick. If youre into embroidery, I strongly encourage you to check this location out. If youre into clothing of any means, this is certainly a place that you would enjoy! I like the assistance I get at least most of the times that I stopped by there.

What a wonderful store. I found inspiration down every isle! The ladies at the fabric counter are wonderful to deal with. Their fabric selection is vast. The baking supplies are a little pricey but when you need to have it theyve got it. The cashier was wonderful as well. Her name was Cheryl and she was very personable. All in all Ive been here many times and every time out is a great shipping experience.

Found what we needed for alcohol ink crafts AND had a coupon!

I made a purchase at Joann’s got it home and realized it was cracked on the inside (it was a ceramic travel mug). The next day I spent 30 minutes in travel time to take it back and exchange it for a new one. Imagine my surprise when they said I owed 42 cents. If I was exchanging a broken product why was I being charged? You might say what’s the big deal over 42 cents. It’s the principle over exchanging a faulty product and having to pay. From now on I will shop at Hobby Lobby or Michael’s

Very disappointed with the customer service that I received two hours before the store would be closing for the day on Sunday, February 9th. There were 4 employees in the area where they cut the material and one customer being waited on and I was the only person left in line. I only had one item to be cut. There were three employees who were more concerned with making sure they put away the material that had piled up so they could go home or talking instead of waiting on me. This is very poor customer service. And then the lady thought she should pin the lace back on the spools before helping me. I stood there at least ten minutes more than I should have. AND not to mention the store was not very busy at that time. Really very unexceptionable.

Clean. Organized. Fairly good selection

The merchandise was great in most departments, lots of empty slots and racks in paper crafting, which was disappointing. Most frustrating was the super long, slow moving line at checkout. Only 3 registers open, and one cashier left her register, stepped outside and talked to someone who had pulled up along side the curb. That made the wait even longer. My cashier was kind, considerate and apologetic for the long wait, at least 15 minutes in line.

One of the cashiers here is pretty racist, telling my sister and I if it’s hurt to speak Chinese. None of her dam business what we speak. Plus it’s not even Chinese. Shame on her.

Just your average Joanns Fabrics store, it is well kept and well stocked. Just note, that this location can get very busy at times but they are good about opening up extra rosters when they need too. Dont forget to download their app to get all the coupons they offer.

Staff is always helpful.. largest Joanns thats close to me.. only issue is if you do a store to store transfer, when the product comes in and they call to notify you, they can never seem to locate where the product is kept
