Extraordinary service. I only wish we had stopped here first. From the time we came in the door to the time we left, Dylan Anderson made every effort to answer questions, share a ton of information, and demonstrate a wide variety of features in the car. Jason Williams helped in the financial process and even though we were pre-approved, saved us thousands on our loan. I cannot begin to overemphasize how highly I recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new car. I started this review with one word....Extraordinary.

I bought a brand new outback one year ago, and have now had scratches for the third time. The last two oil changes have resulted in scratches on the door and b pillar. Same area was scratched when we came to pick it up new, after service had it for the day, when we bought it. Still waiting over a week for them to get this resolved after the last service appointment...disappointed that I have to get regular service here to maintain the warranty, but they damage my car when they are working on it. I love my outback but I will not buy from them in the future!

My experience with purchasing our Outback here was probably the best car buying experience Ive ever had(and Ive purchased several cars). Everyone was friendly and helpful. Justin went the extra mile to make sure I was happy with my deal. Jacobs and Jason answered any questions I had and everyone made us feel welcome.I will look here for future purchases(even though they are 3 hours away!)

Went in for an oil change, they had a special going that I didnt know about so I also got my tires rotated. Quick friendly service with a clean and comfortable waiting area. They also have a dog that checks in on you if youre lucky. I even had a little goody bag waiting for me in my car after my complimentary car wash and vacuuming. Ive never had such a great experience at a car dealership, I will be coming many more times in the future.

Scheduled an appointment for a subaru recall. After driving 50 miles for the scheduled appointment, was told that there were at least two people in front of me, that I could be there for over 2 hours. So much for maintaining schedule. I phone call would have been nice. They were very polite when telling me that they would be very happy to reschedule,

Bob Rohrmans team, you left no doubt this is NOT a buyers market. Manipulation, playing games, disrespecting our time... infuriating how you chose to deal with us. It would have been laughable the games you played with the process, if it werent for wasting our valuable time.For example, the list of fees you dumped on us at the end of the process to jump the price by roughly $4,000 was ridiculous. I have never seen anything like it.Do you realize you are doing the opposite of what makes for long-term success? Unbelievable.

The process of buying the car was pretty smooth. We bought a used 2020 Ascent and there was a couple of issues that were agreed upon to fix during the time of purchase. It was expressed and agreed upon that the salesman would get all repairs setup and would not be a burden to us. After 5 calls I had enough and drove into the shop, the manager got it taken care of that day. The repair was to paint the hood and the other package would have to wait for 30 days for the paint to cure. So now 30 days later and one call in to get the rest scheduled. The person on the phone stated they didnt even know of the package we bought. Which was over 2k. Enjoy the car for the most part and the price was good. Customer service is sub par at best and is why the 2 star rating.

Took my vehicle in for an oil change and tire rotation, they washed my car and left marks on my appliques on all four doors from spraying some type of cleaning product on it staining the appliques. I noticed it at the end of the day, called to set up an appointment to get it taken care of, all they did was wash it and applied some type of gloss on it which came off the following day when it rained. I then called to set up an appointment to have them get it taken care of and they claim that they are just natural water marks that they didnt do anything and then tried saying that it was tree sap. It is obvious that they sprayed something and the gentleman agreed and said that is normal. It is not normal, it was not there prior. It is unfortunate that I am having this experience with the dealership I purchased my brand new vehicle from and they just say its a natural cause when it is not. I know it is something minor but I like to take care of my things the best that I can. I will not be back for any type of service and will most definitely not recommend this place if they tried making it seems like they didnt do it when they did.

Bought my first Subaru here. The guys at the certified pre own location are amazing. They worked with me for months to find exactly what I wanted. Over at the main lot, the customer service is beyond extraordinary. I always look forward to coming in. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, plus you get to keep their doggo Willy.

This dealership is terrible. I recommend making the trip to Indy and dealing with Tom Wood, because I have just had bad experience after bad experience here.The latest escapade was trying to sell my WRX to the used car lot. After a week of going back and forth and setting a time/date for this Saturday at 2 oclock, I was told by a young guy at the lot that they couldnt buy my car today, and that I need to come back during the week. I cant come back during the week dude, I live 40 miles away and you close at 5.I sold the car at CarMax, and they gave me $500 more than what this dealership was going to give me, and the customer service was 10x what Ive had here for the past 3 years.I will not be purchasing another Subaru until I move back to Indy or something. This place is just the absolute WORST dealership Ive ever dealt with.P.S. - Dont try to contact me to win me over with one of your empty responses that make it look like you care about your customers. You clearly dont and should be ashamed that you represent the Subaru brand. Shameful.

Made the 50 mile drive to Fort Wayne for Subaru expertise on my 2014 Forester AC problem . While polite, after several hours their recommendation was a total AC components replacement at $2800. This diagnosis cost $135 and felt like what you tell a customer when you can’t find the problem. Thankfully, a local mechanic at Muncie Imports and Classics was able to find the problem in about 15 minutes ( a $17 relay). After informing the dealership of the error, no attempt was made to reimburse me for the misdiagnosis. In fact, they claimed it was my fault for not letting them change out the whole system as they suggested, as in that case the diagnostic fee would have been waived. Think twice before trusting them for any non warranty work on your vehicle. Politely incompetent is no substitute for an actual ability to fix your automotive problems.

Update: Per the reply below, I contacted them again with my information and never received a response.We purchased a used van, with less than 100,000 miles on it less than a year ago. I understand that buying a used vehicle comes with its own risks, but it turned out to be lemon. We had to make repair after repair and were left stranded on the side of the road on multiple occasions. We were told that the timing belt had been replaced but, last week, it broke and blew out the engine. The cost to repair is more than the value of the vehicle. We thought we had purchased a reliable vehicle from a reputable dealer but that turned out not to be the case. I reached out to Bob Rohrman Subaru about our issues and never received a response.

Pavel was great.The finance Manager (Mark) tried to slip in Equity Protection for $349 into the buyer agreement he sent to my bank. He said it was optional when I asked, yet it was never mentioned to me prior to me noticing the extra charge in the agreement when compared to the one I received earlier. Pretty slimy. Check the details when buying.

The car its self amazing! first Subaru and will not be the last. Now for Bob Rohrman that is a different story. The car when we got there was a mess, they made it right and cleaned it so cant knock them for that. The part that gave them the two star is fulfilling a problem with the cars front bumper. A square plastic piece had fell off of it. Oh we will get that fixed right away for you. We go to leave no part. A week goes by no part. Two weeks go by no part. I call and talk to the person that sold me the car and it is brushed off with I havent forgot about you, we are working on it. 3 weeks now no part. A unsatisfied customers because of a part might be a little excessive but its the answers that I am getting with no real solution to the problem except not being forgotten, that is why they received a 2 star and most likely not to return.

I also want to comment on how caring and helpful the sales team were. I paid over $1000 for seat protection and it could not have been applied as every thing that drops on the seat is absorbed into the seat immediately. I called the company that supposedly applied it and made an appointment. I called Doug Taylor at Subaru because I wanted to make sure it was actually applied. I was told to bring the car in, the service department would clean the seats and apply or reapply the protection. I drove 3 hours and the service manager tells me that I have to call the company that applied it. They cleaned the seats but of course there are still stains... I feel like they took my $1000+ and did not apply it. I have an Impreza with the protection and everything beads up... Castle Subaru for me from now on... Say NO to Bob Rorhman!!!!!

I actually went into Subaru with the exact vehicle in mind that i wanted, knowing it wouldnt be in stock (bc i wanted a manual), hoping i could just place an order for a new car (my dream car) as easily as i would anything else (i dont know how this works).I was expecting a typical dealership experience, but was instead greeted upon walking in by a large golden haired beauty named William who immediately set my mind at ease. He was so polite and professional, zero pressure. But, since dogs cant sell cars in the State of Indiana, he provided a warm handoff to his human co-workers. This was different and i loved it! (Dogs are good for business!)So Isaac was my go-to person throughout this process, and turns out, yes, I was able to just simply order a car with the exact specifications and little details I wanted! So he got the order placed, nice and easy. I got updated a lot throughout the process, just via text letting me know where we were at. The car arrived (early), and it was just perfect. Every detail right.The process was just hassle free on my end and went flawlessly. I dont have one complaint. I appreciate the service, everyone i met was great, Isaac was awesome start to finish, and the experience was exceptional.Thanks to all of you at Subaru, love my car!

Went in for a recall for the fuel pump. Gas was spilled inside of car. Noticed the smell at pick up of car yesterday thought it would go away it didn’t. Never got my car washed after repair as told by the service writer. I had to call and check on the repairs of my vehicle. Email for appointment reminder that was sent was sent by a employee that doesn’t work for the company based off when i called to check on status of my vehicle. I have my children ride in this vehicle and smelling gas that might be soaked into the carpet, seat or even my car seat isn’t ok for the kids. Horrible service is what I received.

The one star is for the salesman that sold me the car. Great guy. The extended service maintenance contract is a scam. It does not cover what it says it covers, so expect to pay double for your repair cost. Im out $5000, 2200 for the coverage. 2800 for the repair cost. Liars and crooks

I worked with Brent at Subaru Fort Wayne, and I had a great experience. He was very honest and upfront with me, unlike most salesmen, and made the whole experience nice and easy. I really like the companys new policy of no negotiations. The car that I bought was below the Kelly Blue Book pricing, and I never felt like they were trying to gouge more money out of me, which is rare when it comes to buying a car. Ive been eyeballing Outbacks for years. Always wanted to do a Subaru Overland project. Adam took me for a test drive and was not pushy. I work in retail sales and really hate pushy car salesman. He was laid back and found me my outback in the limited I wanted, in the color and mileage I was looking for. Highly recommend these folks for your subaru needs. I was also pleasantly suprised on how much lower my insurance was with all the safety functions of the outback with eyesight!

If you plan on buying a used vehicle from them, do not take their word that the car has been inspected. On my test drive we heard a squeaky wheel bearing, they went ahead and had that fixed. When I returned after repair, We took it for another test drive and it drove smoothly. My salesman affirmed for me that when it was in the shop they did a good check over the whole vehicle to make sure everything was in line.2 months after having the vehicle the transmission needed to be replaced. When I had that work done the transmission shop let me know that there is a piece on the bottom of the car that was missing and that I should call the dealership to see if they still had it. When I called the dealership they claimed that nothing was removed from my car, but how could you access the underneath of my car to Make sure everything was in line without removing this piece that protects the underbody? I knew right then and there they didnt do what they said they did.After the transmission replacement, I took my car to get new tires because the ones they sold me on the car with were bald and it was expressed to me how horrible my alignment was.I dont believe this dealership even looked at this car when they brought it into their lot. Buyer beware - get a second opinion on a vehicle if you fall in love with one they are selling, I wish I would have. My $10,000 investment turned into a $16,000 investment very quickly.Not to mention they made a mistake when they wrote up my bill and forgot to charge me $500 at the get-go. Upon reviewing the bill they were correct, but that should have been the first red flag. This experience has taught me a lot, the most important being I will never do business with this company again. Absolutely horrible.EDIT: They asked me to get in touch (see their repsonse to my review below). I emailed them, thanked them for their response and said I would love to speak with someone. I gave them multiple avenues to contact me. Havent heard a thing, just fyi.

I was looking to purchase a new vehicle. I had found a car on carfax.com. I reached out to the dealership to set up a time where I could come and test drive. They set an appointment. When I arrived they told me the vehicle was in the detail shop and not available to test drive at the moment but would be available later that day. I was in directed to test drive several other vehicles.I stopped by later that day and it still was not available. I went back the following day to do the same thing and they set an appointment for me to come in. I arrived but it was still not available.I sent a message asking why it was still not available. I was then told that the vehicle has been sold a month earlier. But they were leading me on to get me to come in and test drive other vehicles all the time allowing me to think that the vehicle was available. This is not honest. I will not do business with a company like this.Be honest. Be transparent. Tell the truth. Do not try to manipulate customers. I have never bought from this company before and I won’t now. They put their interest above the customers interest. I purchased a different brand vehicle from another local dealership.

Wasted 4hrs of driving back and forth to this dealer. Only 2 realize the first sales person we dealt with, was a just buy it, tell you everything you want 2 hear kinda guy. I bought a 2014 GMC Serria from this dealer. I thought these folks was upstanding but I find out now they are crooks. After buying truck with in 2 months I find Hail damage on roof of truck and called them to see what I can do. Phil said it was my baby now and did not even offer half of the money to repair it right. Carfax did not show any damage except 2 dents in tailgat which was small. Before you buy from here take it to a certified body shop and mechanic that way you dont get screwed like I did. Hell I dont think they even deserve 1 star cause its costing me 1700 bucks to fix a 25000 dollar truck really guys

I had been looking at cars off and on for the past six months with the intention to buy one by September 2020 when I found the right car at the right price. Last month that car was at Bob Rohrman Subaru of Fort Wayne. After seeing the large inventory of certified used cars that they had, I decided it was worth the trip from Indianapolis to Fort Wayne to look at the cars in person.Noah met me when I arrived with one of the cars I was interested in ready for a test drive. After driving the first car and understanding what was and was not important to me in a car, we walked the lot and narrowed down my options. The third car I drove was the car I purchased.One additional perk was Noah delivering the car to me in Indianapolis 2 days later, since I was not trading in a car and did not have anyone else with me to drive my other car home.Doug (manager) and Noah were great to work with through the entire process. And Subaru was able to offer me the best rate for financing as well.

I purchased a vehicle from their used car lot on Lima Road back in February after totalling my previous vehicle. I had a really great experience! Something I think everyone deals with when car shopping are really pushy salesman. What I appreciated the most was the laid-back environment, and my salesman (I cant remember his name now, but he was really tall) was kind, respectful of me and my time as a buyer. He didnt make me feel uncomfortable, pressured, or rushed to make a decision.The buying process was pretty quick, all done in a few hours, as I told them I had to be at work later that day, and they got me finished up just in time. I got to go to work in my new car :)

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS!!Looked and test drove a car there. Gave them my email. Bought a Subaru elsewhere 2 years ago. About 45 mins later I get a text message saying the vehicle was sold at what Im sure was a higher price then what I had talked them down to. Wait 45 minutes while they program them sure no problem, oh wait they didnt program both, but worse than that they didnt even notice you paid for the RES fob. Now you get to wait another 45 minutes with no discount for the programming fee you just paid. And you cant pick up groceries before you have to work, but you have a lot of time spent in their lobby to think up bad reviews. This could be your fate if you decide to get service done here.

Michael Sanchez was great to work with. He made an experience I frankly hate pleasurable with his charm and laughter. I also had a good experience once I found a car and made it back to finance. No high pressure, just felt like honest advice. My one word of caution. A client let me know she had bought a car here and had to spend a good amount of time after the sale chasing people down to get a second key and a remote start installed. I had a couple small issues I needed done before my purchase. I made sure things were addressed before the final purchase. That really helped make for a positive experience. I would definitely recommend this dealership.

Had a 60,000 mile service, oil change with tire rotation, 4 wheel alignment, and front brakes service to be performed. Called Subaru, got estimates on cost and time needed from Jacob. They got my vehicle in that morning and I was getting my keys back 3 hours later. No surprise costs and work done right and on time. I will use Subaru again in the future for my service needs.

Randy, the car salesman was awesome. Friendly, straightforward, no pressure. The finance guy was another story..... made me feel stupid for financing at a bank, and then was rude to the loan officer at the bank. I ended up not buying the car, but love Subaru and will get one elsewhere.

First impression was that everyone was very kind and helpful. Two weeks into buying a pre-owned certified Subaru, I was told the tires were already dry rotted. With having 24,000 miles on it something seemed fishy. I continued to call and ask about it but was told Id get a phone call from a manager that never called me back. Finally after speaking with the salesman multiple times, he informs me the inspection did show that the tires were dry rotted but didnt think they needed changed yet and they continued to sell me the vehicle anyways. I bought this Subaru in good faith from this place and hope this hasnt happened to anyone else but would not be surprised if it has. The response from the sales team was that their hands were tied. Be very cautious when buying a car from here. They put everyone in danger by selling me a car with bad tires.

Aaron was very courteous, quick, and forthcoming with information. He was extremely knowledgeable and went above/beyond to help us out. He kept me up to date on everything happening with the vehicle and the whole process was transparent. Check engine and ABS lights were on during the test drive. They fixed the car (by replacing the speed sensor) without raising the price and got it done next day even though we hadnt put ink to paper. Joe was able to save us over $100 from the original financing offer by working with local lenders. We had an excellent experience and would definitely buy from them again

We drove 3 hours to Fort Wayne to buy a used Lexus GX on a Saturday after finding the car the day before. There were several minor (1cm or smaller) paint defects on the front bumper and we asked for a discount for the cost of getting that repainted... the manager (Doug or Jim) was extremely rude and aggressive about it. He said it was normal wear and tear and we didnt have to buy the car and then stormed away. The sales person Mark did a great job though of making up for his awful behavior and even tried to help me hitch the vehicle the day before by taking it to two uhauls. Mark was very courteous and helpful and because of him I did not completely hate the experience. If I had not driven 3 hours to buy the car I would have not bought it on principle of how rude the manager was but I felt stuck. I can recommend this place based on Mark and my happiness with car besides the very small paint defects. I cannot recommend it based on how rude the manager was because his comments and attitude overshadowed everything else and made the whole experience uncomfortable and negative.

Knew what car we wanted to lease. Picked the color and option package off the website. Website gave great details of the Outback. Worked out the deal via email, financing done over the phone. Went to Subaru of Ft. Wayne, 10 minutes, all documents signed. Then I was given a 30 minute one on one on how everything worked, set up phone, and many other items. Best car buying experience ever!
