I am so pleased with the customer service and quality of of sod I received . Great pricing, fast, friendly and courteous staff. Even the delivery driver was truly nice. This is a horrible place to buy sod. I have bought a lot from this company with bad results. Delivery drivers are cool. There are great options so that you dont have to buy from these people. Want proof. Go to their location and look at all the awful sod they have on hand. They will tell you they will deliver you fresh sod. I bought two truckloads. I got the old and half dead sod they had onsite. I found two, much better options. You can too.

Stay away!**************************************Absolute worst company in the area. Sold me $2000 in sod that was infested with web worms, now wont take my calls to help make the situation right. Most grass is dead. When they didnt see it was me that was calling, they answered and kept me on hold until they closed for the day. Never picked up the phone again. Management is the worst. I had 7 pallets of sod installed in my front yard. At first it was beautiful and lush green. But within a week it started to turn brown in patches, and the deterioration was noticeable on an almost hourly basis. I called my landscaping professional, a company I have had great service from for 9 years. He discovered an infestation of sod webworms, the worst he had ever seen. They were in every part of the sod I bought from Woerner turf. The yard was bare earth before the sod install; there is no doubt that the webworms and their eggs were delivered with the turf.This isnt supposed to happen. Most sod farms treat their sod to kill pests prior to harvesting. Obviously, this step was overlooked for my sod.My landscaper was able to treat the lawn and kill off the infestation, but the damage was severe. There are parts of the turf that will not recover.I reached out to Woerner turf through my sod installer to see what there warranty policy was. I wasnt too upset; these things happen. I figured they would deliver a couple of pallets to replace the worst parts and wed call it good.No dice. John, the manager, refused to warranty their sod. He said their sod farm was meticulously maintained and the infestation was not from their sod. Obviously not true. He told my installer he would call me personally to follow up (he didnt).Pretty pathetic. Deliver a defective product and refuse to take accountability. Cost me over $3,000 for the turf and landscaping, and now I have to do it again.Stay away. There are plenty of places to buy turf from.

Great customer service and prompt delivery. On the other hand, about half (8 of 16) of the sod ordered contained little to no soil, smelled sour, and was hot (very hot) in the middle of the pallet. Obviously this part died so now half the yard is patchwork look. Hopefully it will grow and fill in but for the money and time spent, it should have been right.

Needed some stone for my aquascape and they had an excellent selection and great pricing and beautiful natural stone!

Very easy and comfortable dealing with Frank who is very knowledgeable and informative regarding pavers and sod for our new home. Looking forward to working with him in the next few months as our house is becoming finished soon.

Update 2021: I went in twice, live 20 miles away, to order sod. Never got to talk with a live person. Each time there were several of us standing around the office while one person behind the counter spent a HUGE amount of time with one customer, and another guy sat at his desk doing paperwork and ignoring those of us waiting. Left after 10 min, will not be back again.nice operation, if you need lots of sod, this is one of the places to go for sure

We have used them several times for different rocks, for different reasons, and every time it has been a pleasure working with them. Absolutely will recommend to others and with be back for some pea gravel very soon.

We recently visited Woerner Landscape to select stones for a new garden path. The friendly and knowledgeable manager, John Blackburn, walked us through their yard and explained the pros and cons of each option. We selected what we thought would work best and had the stones delivered a few days later. The path turned out amazing and we would not hesitate to revisit Woerner for any future projects.

We bring our 1yd3 bag, they refill it within a few minutes. Very happy with the entire staff. Soil types are explained. The forklift guy is super nice. Highly recommend.

Went looking for aquarium rocks. They really have a big supply of many different ones, from stones to slate. Price is per pound and very reasonably priced. Make sure to bring something to put it in and they weigh it right there.

My grass/sod is beautiful. The rocks I bought look great. My special place for yard items like rock, sod etc.

Ordered 3 tons of rock. I called and asked about delivery time and was told they had me down for 2 bags not 3, I confirmed I ordered 3 bags. When the rocks were delivered I received 1.5 bags of dirt/rock. Called and emailed pictures. I was told I would receive 1 bag the next week. Never came, followed up again was told they are really busy I would get it next week, Monday. Monday came and went, no delivery. Called again and they didn’t even have me down for delivery. Finally received decent product after much hassle. Shouldn’t have take 3 weeks, additional phone calls and email to fix the mess up. They sent 2 bags instead of the 1 but the lack of follow through is my issue.

I ordered 7 pallets of their Palisades Zoysia for our yard and was amazed with the quality. The grass is bright green and healthy, there were no weeds, and most of the cuts were really good so it made laying the sod really easy. The delivery driver was very friendly and placed the pallets around the yard where we wanted them

Excellent customer service. Very knowledgeable staff. When I explained how much topsoil I wanted they did not hesitate to give me references for other businesses that deliver in truck-loads for a better price. After I bought my topsoil elsewhere I bought my sod from Woerner and was very pleased with it.

This made be a good group of people, but coming home their delivery truck is parked in road blocking a lane of traffic, on a rural road at a curve. In order to get around them, I had to risk that no one would come around that blind curve at a high rate of speed and hit me head on. Giving great service goes beyond the customer and extends to be a good community member, and employing persons that will keep the safety of others in mind.

This company doesnt care about their customers. i gave them the size of my yard and asked how much top soil they felt i needed. i had 10 1 ton bags left over when i was done. i asked about doing a return and they told me they dont do bulk returns, even though they are the one that told me i need 3 times more sand than i really needed. i asked if i could donate the sand back to them, if theyd come pick it up (over $600 worth of sand) and they said okay. however they never came and picked it up. so Im stuck with 10 bags of sand that you need special equipment to move. would not recommend doing business with this company.

Last week while vacationing in Destin, Florida, I found Woerner Landscape in Fort Walton Beach. I purchased Mexican Beach Pebbles and Kewanee Skippers to use in my mandala dot rock painting addiction. The rocks were smooth, symmetrical and uniform, oval and round shapes. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They assisted me in choosing the perfect rocks that I brought back with me to Northern Indiana. They were rude and the guys on forklifts were driving fast and reckless with no regard for customer safety. After almost getting hit twice, we left.

A company with no morales or values. What a shame to represent a historically founded company based on christen values.I will never buy a single thing from this company and encourage everyone else to find an alternative.

Purchased two pallets of sod from them and when received, the sod had some white growth on it, smelled sour and was very very hot and brown. Placed it all down the very next day and after watering on a recommended schedule for several months, maybe 15% took root and the rest has died and allowed weeds to take back over. Contacted customer service but received no response back after sending my pictures in.

Do not buy st Augustine sod from this company, My husband has always bought sod from this company with no problems at all. We purchased Some St Augustine grass through them and within 4 days it was all dead, my husband Put down Insecticide but evidently this did not work and the real reason is because the sod is so bad! I did call them and a guy called Cody came out to have a look, he explained he thought it may be mole crickets from our other grass (Which was purchased from them two years ago and we’ve had no problems with it) Cody said he would replace the grass we had just purchased but recommended a different insecticide which cost us 100 bucks. After my husband laying it all again and using the insecticide as advise its already dying off! it’s so frustrating! Last night we was at some friends of ours in Shalimar who have had exactly the same problem with the sod from worners . I called today and was told that there has been an issue with the sod this year, I understand if things don’t always work out but why are you still selling it if you know it’s such a bad product or not offering customers their money back or an alternative? The one star is for Cody who was very good in replacing it first time around. That said we will not be returning.

Terrible customer service. I preordered sod on a Thursday for a Saturday morning pickup. When I arrived to pick it up, they had never ordered it or even had my reservation on record. They werent apologetic or willing to help me out an any way. I called another local sod provider and they were able to provide me with a last minute order. I will never do busy with Woerner again or ever recommend them. Take you business else where!!

I purchased three pallets of said high quality sod. One half of the pallets was dead from mold and fungus. Also grub worms were present. I called Woerners and was told to wait a week. After a week I called back and was told they would send out a replacement half pallet. The replacement came. It was a different grass, thinly cut soil and died out in a week. Their excuse was they cant control what grass they get.

Had an issue with some of the grass they delivered. It was partially eaten with webworms. They were very responsive to the problem and came out 2-3 times to try and fix the issue before replacing the entire yard with new grass. Excellent customer service and very knowledgeable staff. Would purchase from them again.

We stoped at Woerner landscape today to look at paver options, Matt Barry walked the yard with us and was very helpful. His product knowledge and opinion made the process enjoyable. We will be back!

I went looking for pebbles I could paint. It was 4:00, the end of the day,and I was so surprised when Woeners Landscaping employee, Matt Barry, gave me excellent customer service! He was thorough, walked me through the entire lot to make sure I saw all of my choices and was as nice as he could be. Bought 1 pallet of St Augustine from the business. I put down soil and the whole pallet of grass did not take. Looked good for a total of 2 weeks and then it all turned to a weed infestation. I will never purchase anything from them again. Buyer beware. Whoever they recieve their grass from had so much junk in it. I wasted $400+ of hard earned money. Now I will be to have to resod again. I will take a drive to the farms up north and receive from a better grower that doesnt give you a weed infested pallet of sod. Stay clear!!!!!!!

Best sod in 5 county area. They have their own variety of St. Augustine that is superior for the Gulf Coast climate. Pallisades Zoysia is also available and its considered the Caddilac if Zoysia variants. You can get pine straw, natural rocks, and paver supplies. Im sure Im forgetting something because they seem to have everything.
