Worst customer service ever! Jennifer was the most rude individual and should not be working in customer service. My daughter and I were here for new shoes, some tights and a few new leotards. We were never greeted or helped. We stood and waited over 45 minutes with no service while others were being assisted. Our friend who was also shopping was helped and though we needed the same item and this was mentioned, they never offered to bring it out. The worst part is while they were helping our friend (who is a child) Jennifer was extremely rude to her. She had a bad attitude and was very short. I would never speak to an adult that way while helping them in a customer service role, much less a child. The staff needs to be trained not only in how to provide customer service but also the ability to multi task.

Signed my daughter up for her first ballet classes this year and they were so nice and helpful! I appreciated that they had her try on her shoes to make sure they fit right and it was just an overall good experience. Will be getting her dance clothes here in the future.

Staff is nice and polite, atmosphere is calming, and I got my shoes fitted properly.

This is a wonderful place to get what you need for dance plus provide a cozy atmosphere. Bou Cou is beautifully local and it shows!

Hands down the best place to get pointe shoes but Sandy helped us today and she was amazing!! She took her time with my daughter and did things I never seen anyone do to make sure it was the correct fit!! Ask for Sandy she will take her time and find the perfect fit!!

Great selection from what I could tell, I came in to get stuff for my daughter. The ladies working there were helpful and knowledgeable.

They were lovely there and definitely know their stuff. I knew what I needed going in, but I didnt need to. As soon as I told them the studio my daughter would be dancing at, they went to work. They quickly fitted my three year old and even had wide options available. The prices seem reasonable, especially considering the service and the quality.

Great store . such amazing customer service . i was at a dance convention and the fabric below the toe popped out of the shoe . they stayed open for an extra 20 minutes so i could get my shoes for a commercial shoot the next day . very happy with the store . i am a regular customer

Morgan was extremely helpful! Needed to get unitards and palazzo pants for myself and 3 young girls but I wasnt able to have them go to the store with me for a fitting. She was able to determine their sizes based on measurements I took. Not only that, some of the pieces werent in store and the owner was able to bring them from their other store for me to purchase. Will definitely be coming back for future needs!

It has everything for dance, theater, artistic sports practice and performance. Special costumes can be beaded and altered. My impression was WOW.

I recently bought my daughters dance shoes here. The ladies that helped me were so sweet with my little girl. I have also bought her dance dresses here.

I shopped at this store before they relocated. Today was the first time I walked into the new location. The older blonde woman greeted me but the customer service I received after was the worst Ive ever experienced in my life as a Mommy. I was treated as though I did not have the money to pay for the things I inquired about. In my personal sales experience, you cannot judge a book by its cover. But I was dressed professionally this day. I cant give this woman any passes.When I walked in, I told her I had called earlier about some items. I was prepared to purchase a $40 Leo that she told me was not in stock and a $45 pair of jazz shoes. And quite possibly other items that I liked. This employee/owner was not only condescending but extremely insensitive and clearly not used to helping others in a sales environment.My daughter and I decided to leave when she resisted showing me a pair of shoes in the size I needed and scolded my 7 year old for touching a pair of pointe shoes by reminding her that they cost $90 and that she should not touch them or they would break. Never again will I return to this store. They have lost my business completely.

Spice shop, crappy glass. Gas stations carry better glass. I respect coke dealers much more than selling poison to kids. Need to be shut down before their bath salt and spice puts even more kids in the hospital

I am a dancer of nfb which is a studio that is well involved with bou cou, and everything there is what one might be looking for. Amazing leotards, high quality tights, and so much more so looking for any type dance wear or dance shoes bou cou is definitely the place to go, yet the place has some downsides like the pointe shoe selection is horrendous, they basically have two brands and two lines from each one which gives you limited options and as a dancer or a relative of one it’s your job to make sure they’re safe and one must know that not having many selections can become extremely dangerous for ones body health. Another downside is that their stock is crazily overpriced on the same day going to another local store and bou cou I checked the prices and there was a 50$ difference not counting tax and other stores have so much more of a variety compared to bou cou and as I was there I got my pointe shoes fitted to Suffolk, a brand which I had never heard because all I have been getting is Block and rp from bou cou (not exactly all they have, but they have about two or three more which isn’t much) and I got a 5 leotard and amazing brand which I had never heard of because I was only buying wear moi from bou cou.Some constructive criticism saying that a more diverse collection is needed and then everything might be worth its price.
