I purchased 4 new tires at this location. Immediately after purchasing the tires I left the state for training. (My vehicle was not driven while I was gone) Upon returning from training, I noticed that my rear driver’s side tire was flat. I have had to continuously put air in the tire since. Upon removing the tire to see what the issue was, I noticed that I had a crack in my rim. I took the tire back to the location to let them know the issue. Immediately as I arrived I was barely given the opportunity to voice my concern because I was cut off by the guy (Robert a.k.a Robby) saying that it was not their fault and it was nothing that they could do right before walking off mid conversation. I also would like to add that I asked him to leave 1 of my best tires from my previous set in the car so that I could use as a spare. They did not leave a tire. I am now riding on a donut trying to find somewhere to either repair my rim or buy a whole new rim thanks to these guys.

I take my van to midas whenever i have any issues with it. Rob is very professional and honest! I would definitely recommend the services of him and his crew!

Went here for an Oil Change for the first time and I can honestly only say good things. Robbie is one of the kindest car mechanics I’ve ever met. He definitely made me feel comfortable and i will be coming back :).

Van was blowing hot air and so I was right by Midas and took it in. They said they can get me in next, within the hour. 2 hours later I asked if they are going to take my van and finally they take it and 45 minutes later they are done doing an AC recharge. They give me a bill of $160 (WTH) I said just to do a recharge? and asked why is the labor ($134) so much for only 45 minutes. Did not get any good reply, so I just paid it and left, what a TOTAL RIPOFF!! Its my fault for just paying, but I was not expecting to spend 3 hours there and had to get back to work.

I drove down from MS with bad tires. Robbie got me brand tires the next day! He was very friendly and informative. I loved his energy and willingness to take care of customers. If I could give him 10 stars, definitely would‼️‼️

They lied to me saying it was company policy that they could not put on my old parts and then when asked for a print out of the policy they back tracked and told me it was a shop mechanic rule and i asked for a print out of that and then they told me it was not a real rule so i was jipped into buying new rotors because the old ones were out of limits when i wanted to replace them on my own but they let me drive off with out of limit rear drums........ real nice staff you got.

Went in around 10am said they had to order a part and it would be in at 1pm, went back at 1pm and was told they thought the part was ordered but wasnt and it would be in at 4pm. Had prepaid for the job and they did a refund.

We took our car to get rims changed over to new ones we purchased. Miles helped us and was super respectful, professional and most importantly didn’t overcharge or upsell us anything. As with most experiences at auto repairs, it’s never pleasant knowing you’re getting ripped off. We got a quote of $125 to swap over all 4 rims, and that’s exactly what we got charged!! Needless to say, HIGHLY recommend, and talk to Miles. We are definitely bringing our car here for routine maintenance from now on.

Came in for an oil change. Made my appointment online the night before. Robby and Dana took care of me. Service went as scheduled and I was back on the road. It was refreshing to be somewhere that obviously cared about their customer service.

On vacation and our truck’s brakes went out, seized caliper. Robbie, the owner/manager (?) got us in immediately and had the job done within a couple hours. Our family, and dogs, were on vacation and had to check out of the hotel when we noticed the problem. Robbie also helped us out with dog friendly lunch places and entertainment to hold us over while we waited. Help like that goes a long way. Highly recommend him and his shop.

Spent 1000.00 on a set of tires exactly one year ago. Also purchased the road hazard warranty. Been there twice and both times they were out of patches or plugs to make the repair. So why dont you just go ahead and refund the cost of the road hazard warranty that you charged me because apparently you dont warrant what you sell. The previous owner ran a fantastic business, these guys, not so much !!!!

Over the last 8 years Midas in Fort Walton Beach has been my go to place for auto repair and oil changes. I have spent many thousand of dollars for repairs and services. Bob sold the business last year and it is not the same. Went in today for an oil change, only two cars were up on racks, two other open bays, went in ask for oil change. The new guy informed me they were by appointment only. I ask him how long have they been by appointment only and he told me they have always been by appointment only. I said that is that is not true and he said he was sorry.I was always able to trust Bob and never felt like I was ever taken advantage of. The new guy, trust lost in one interaction.Now looking for a replacement for Bob

They were highly professional and went above and beyond to get my vehicle taken care of. Despite having an appointment to only get new tires, they were able to get other services done that I requested after the fact.

I Set an appointment to get a new exhaust installed on my car called up Robbie and he said bring it in next day. Brought the car around 7:30am they was finished by 9. Gave a good deal for installing and it sounds great. Coming back to get my rims done !

Fix my car in a timely manner and did what they could without being able to get available parts from anyone in town. Also let me know what was going to have to be done to get my consent for any further repairs beyond what I brought my car in for. They also were able to get me an Uber home and a uber back to pick up my car at no extra expense to me. They have good warranty on parts and labor and prices arent too bad either

My friends and I were in Okaloosa Island the week of September 14, during Hurricane Sally. My car sustained damage from the flooded roads. I had my car towed to Midas for repairs. Miles was accomondating, professional and very understanding of my panic state. They fixed my car and even spent another hour the next day going through everything because I was nervous about driving back to Cincinnati. I would highly recommend Midas and if I am ever back for vacation and need service, I wont look anywhere else, Midas Ft. Walton will be my choice.

I had a battery go bad on me recently. So I decided to stop into minus to get it changed. I probably paid more than I should have, but the guys at Midas did a good job and took care of me and very short order. it is a locally owned store and Im more than happy to give them a little extra money for the peace of mind it gives me having a local work on my vehicle.

This place was a life saver. It was my last day on vacation and all of sudden I was had a tire going flat. They got me right in and fixed the issue. Both the store and district manager were there on that day and they hooked me up an saved the last day of our vacation. I can’t thank them enough. Some of the places I tried when as the tire was going flat blew me off and told me try somewhere else, but these guys saw I had a problem and fixed it. Next time one these tire shops blows you off or tells you 3 hrs to fix a flat. Go to Midas.

These guys at Midas know what theyre doing! I brought in my truck that was having some issues that I couldnt figure out and they took the time to go over everything on the truck with me to show me what they think it may or may not be. I had them replace everything we thought it was and anything they felt needed replaced and its a whole new truck now. Drives great thanks to them! They really care about their customers! Will definitely come back to them with all my needs.

Bob was extremely helpful from directions to the shop to the end of the process. My truck needed a catalytic converter and a pipe or 2. Some of it had to be made up on the spot and Bob was very confidant in his crews ability to get the job done and done well. And it was. Great place for your vintage records needs. They even have some vinyl players for sale. Staff was very friendly. Wish they had a better location the corner near the gas station probably limits the business they could have.

We drove down from WI and ended up with brake issues. They were more than helpful and also would show you and explain everything that was going on. Even though the parts needed were not on hand, they ordered the parts and had my car fixed by 10am the next morning! I hope to never need to visit here again, but if Im ever in the area with car problems, I wont hesitate to bring it here again. Very friendly and helpful service.

Bob and his team did an EXCELLENT job. I was on vacation with family and had take my Yukon in. We had 12 hours left of our road trip, and my Stabilitrak light came on, my idle was a little rough, and I had a fluttering noise on my driver’s side. Bob got me in right away, got our truck fixed up, and ready to roll. Very professional, priced fairly, and he’s the friendliest guy you’ll meet. If I lived here, this is where I would bring my cars to get worked on.

Just have to say I am so thankful for Nevin! Im on my way to drop off my kids to school and have my dog in the car with me as well I got a nail in my tire and drove on it flat and luckily was able to pull into Midas. Nevin swiftly came to our rescue and changed the tire swiftly so we could get the kids to school safely all while having a smile on his face. Cant recommend. Came in for some exhaust and brake work. Brakes turned out fine. The exhaust was rattling after I got the car back. They decided to charge us to look at their screw up and recommended an expensive fix to stop the rattling.Managed to fix the rattling problem myself at no cost. Doesnt sit right with me when a mechanic wants more money to check a problem with a new issue than I had before I gave it to you. Plenty of other mechanics in the area. Look elsewhere.

Had all 4 of my tires changed along with my brakes flushed and a fuel induction service. Midas treats their customers right and Bob is an excellent owner who runs this business right! Honest and service is great!

Great shop. They got me in and out for my oil change with free tire rotation on my lunch break. They let me know I was missing my cabin air filter and offered to put one in for me and had a detailed list of regular maintenance Ill need done soon. Great conversation while I waited. Ill definitely be back!

Nevin the lead technician was very helpful and informative. He and his team explained the pros and cons of getting new tires without pushing me into buying them. He was able to find me discounts and the work was done on time. He and his team were fun to visit with and thats what really sold me. Ive been here multiple times and have had a consistent experience.

My wifes brakes failed just down the road from this Midas. We had the truck towed here & they fixed it quickly. The price was good and the tech listened when I told him what had happened & what I found (brake line near the drivers side front tire had rusted through). They didnt try to upsell me either! I would go here again without any reservations.

Came Into Midas Fort Walton with my 2013 Ford Explorer having NO AIR CONDITIONING! My Compressor had completely stopped! I never post reviews online but this team deserves the five stars!I came by for a check up since my van was acting up and they did a very thorough check, letting me know the issue I was experiencing along with other issues.The best part was getting realistic advice on my vehicle and not just trying to upsell.I got what I needed fixed before making a 1675 mile trip. Didnt have a single issue the whole drive.

We were on vacation for Spring Break and needed an oil change before we returned home to Houston and we stopped here. Service was excellent. The owner was in and was who attended us. While we waited he kept us entertained with conversation and gave us several suggestions where to eat for dinner out there and where to go with the kids. Will sure stop here again when out there in the future.

I called up for an appointment, was quoted a price and the time frame for the work that needed to be done. When I arrived at my scheduled time, I didnt have to wait they put my vehicle on the lift and went to it. The owner was friendly courteous while I waited. The customer service was excellent, the cost and the time frame were exactly as quoted. If you need work done this is the place to go.

I went to see Midas because I had a nail stuck in my tired and needed it fixed the day I was leaving for my wedding in Nashville, TN. Not only were they able to service me immediately, but they also did not charge me because it turns our the nail never actually punctured the tire wall. I can only highly recommend the awesome guys at this shop that really take customer service to the next level.

Excellent customer service, professional, knowledgeable and thorough mechanics. I recently needed a transmission service and an oil change. The transmission service, which was basically an inspection and fluid change, was rather expensive -- however they had the best deal considering all the other garages in the area I talked to. After they were finished, the mechanic opened the hood and explained what he did and moreover explained what further work was needed on both the engine and suspension. I was very happy he took the time to this as he confirmed a lot of what I suspected.

After getting service at our local Midas, we went out of town the next day and started having problems with our vehicle. Im so thankful that we found this Midas while 450 miles from home! They took care of everything immediately and really gave us peace of mind. Thank you! Highly recommended!

One of the best shops I have ever had to deal with. I had to leave my vehicle there when it broke down on vacation and needed some major work done. I will never take my car to any other shop in town. The professionalism, courteousness, and quality of work made for the best costumer service Ive expierenced in a long time. The work was quality and everything that needed to be fixed was shown to me before and after the work was done. Usually when I take the cars to the shop I have to keep my guard up cause I feel they are just looking to take advantage of me, not here, I never once had a reason to doubt their honesty or work. Excellent shop, others should learn from them!

5/16/2018 We were in town for vacation, had a tire go bad...Bob is a very friendly owner, and the team showed me my issue up close and personal, and even changed my tire and completed an alignment in great time...But on the road back home, we lost a hubcap somewhere and now I have to find another or replace all 4....I have had this car several years, and never had a hubcap just fall off, so dont think that was anything other than it was not put back on correctly...

Got a nail in a tire this past Tuesday, while vacationing from Atlanta. Bob Towers (owner) first person to greet me, and asked how can I help. Was down on ground in seconds seeking out the nail. Had my car in a service bay in less then 2 minutes. Total repair done within an hour, and back to beach. I usually dont post reviews, but this was good old-fashioned customer service.

Went in for a oil change and alignment shortly before they closed and they stayed after closing time to get me right. Talked to the owner for awhile really cool personable guy! I highly recommend using them!

Great experience at this Midas! I didn’t have an appointment and they managed to get my car in. I couldn’t tell them exactly what was wrong with my car (thought it was the brakes), they figured it out. It wasn’t the brakes so they didn’t try to charge me or promote a bunch of unnecessary work. Bob was great, very professional. Great job because, like most women, I hate car repair places.

I have taken my car here twice. There first time for an oil change, which was quick and the service and staff were awesome! The second time was just today, and I went in to get 2 new tires, considering I was informed that I had a few holes and a large welt in one, and a nail in another. I then found out that I needed new brakes, rotors, and calipers. A $200 bill turned into $1000. ***NOTE*** All of these changes were 100% necessary and my car was unsafe. I only had $300. The owner then told me that he was going to help me because no one should be driving in an unsafe car or be stranded. He was able to help me finance the remaining balance and drive away only a couple hours later with a safe vehicle for me and my family. I will never take my car anywhere else!
