I have not had a real good Boston Cream donut in years until today. The filing was like the ones I had growing up so hard to fine now a days. Oh and I cant forget the Bacon maple glazed. My first time trying them so delious and real not imitation bacon.The lady behind the counter was very nice. I highly recommended Dixie Cream Donuts. I will be back.

I feel like this is the best donut Ive ever had in life. The owner told me they hand make them and they are open at 530 in the morning. It was my first time visiting them because I heard good things about them. They owner handed me a donut to taste and it had a yeasty doughy taste I cant even explain it was amazing. Definetly try if you live in the area or passing through to go somewhere else its that good trust in me.

Warm glazed are excellent, get there early due best selection. Homemade strawberry frosting is the bomb, too.

Best donut ever this hidden gem in the downtown Fort Pierce area. We almost drove right past it. They are so friendly. The first bite melts in your mouth, way better than any mass market franchise donut. This place is family owned using an 80 year recipe the clerk said. We couldnt stop. Had to come back each day of our trip to Florida.

They open EARLY, and close when sold-out for the day (if you want to drop in around 10am you may have a very limited selection, if any). Support local businesses and take a box with you to share. OMG!! Our son’s baseball game was delayed and we had time to kill so drove around. We spotted Dixie Cream Donuts..and are thankful we don’t live close because it would be a serious problem! If you like Dunkin donuts youll be very happy here.Unfortunately a big gooey thing of dough with no texture isnt something I enjoy.I prefer cake type donuts like dandee donuts in pompano Beach and a couple of the locationsI also asked for a chocolate donut. What I was given was a basically white donut with chocolate cream on top Thats not a chocolate donut.

Im not usually a sweets guy. This was a treat and, Im telling you, they deliver here. I had the apple fritter; its thick, full of flavor, and not overly spiced or sweet. Staff is very friendly and the prices are extremely reasonable. Highly recommend.

Years ago Stuart News ran a food column raving about these doughnuts. But when is a snowbird from Stuart ever going to get here early enough to get early morning fresh doughnuts with all the varieties? Well Sunday at 8 am was that long anticipated morning. A quick stop on the way to pick up my brother at the Sanford airport. Very close to the 95 exit.Wow. Light airy celebrations. Filings wonderful too. And while there’s a small up charge, don’t forget to try the glazed cinnamon roll that ate Fort Pierce. Will encourage friends and family to fly in early so we can meet them w hot coffee and a dozen doughnuts for the ride home.

Ok if you live in fort pierce and havent tried these bad boys then you have a serious problem; matter of a fact DONT even consider calling yourself a Floridian. Word of advice if you go in the morning you would probably get fat because of good how they are. Have a nice day

I “placed an order” the day before for the following day, the woman who came out of the back to take it, didn’t even take my phone number info or anything. I had to repeat the pick up time a few times. Thank GOD I called 1 hour and 40 minutes prior to confirm my pick up. The woman who answered, Lacy, someone different than who I placed my initial order with, tells me I didn’t place a particular order when I did. Then tells me what I requested wasn’t put aside and they sold out, in what world is this acceptable. Thank goodness I didn’t pay yesterday. As stunned as I was the woman then tells me I don’t have to come get them, they can put them back on the shelves. I don’t know if it’s lack of good work ethics, the area so they believe they can treat people any way or what, but this entire process was horrible. This is what happens when you attempt to support certain companies over bigger household and worldwide companies.F/U I called back to speak to the manager and he stated Lacy, had been working there for 20 years and could say whatever she wanted.

Excellent apple fritter if you can get one. I call to order occasionally but they never have them made my 7:30. Some folks have to be at work earlier than 8-9:00. Wish they’d make them earlier. 🙄

Actually I went next door to Pams Restaurant which I really enjoyed tug he Breakfast I had a omelet with Turkey sausage and Turkey bacon and Grits Great Price and I loved that they serve a lot of Turkey items.

Food is great, but need to work on how you talk to people, dont get me wrong I know people have there bad days and I know this is a family owned establishment but I am a paying customer . I called 2hrs a headed of time to place my order and was told that they didnt have time to do it. Im sorry that is one thing you do not tell a paying customer. I frequent this establishment all the time always tip well for serve rendered but, unfortunately I will not be returning to this establishment. O the Psl location was able to have time to fill my $100 order.

Wow, the glazed donuts are the best that I have had. They are soft and airy enough to be a glazed, yet have a density of a cake donut. Great combo. The apple fritters are also amazing and super dense and filling.The staff is friendly and always enjoy going in.

These donuts were amazing. When we were there the wagon wheel donuts were still warm from the fryer and dusted with cinnamon sugar. The dough is soft and pillowy. Thank goodness I dont live near either location, i would weigh a ton.

I grew up on Dixie Cream donuts. They are the best donuts I have eaten in my life. Ive traveled abroad and extensively throughout the US. Dixie cream can put Krispy Kreme out of business. I wont eat KK donuts. Yuck. Dixie creme is better than beignets - Sorry New Orleans! The icing is not too sweet. Even the day old donuts are good! Dont change your recipe.

Okay so these are the most delicious donuts EVER! If you like chocolate glazed or regular glazed, this is the place. Its important to know that there are two locations. The Ft Pierce location is better because the person who makes the chocolate makes it so much more rich. Its like actual icing as compared to the PSL location where the chocolate is like a buttercream which is just so weird on a donut.

My husband and I were traveling from NJ and love to try donuts in each place we visit and this by far exceeded our expectations. Dont get dissuaded with the sketchy area to stop in for a fluffy or cakey donut. The owner was awesome and didnt steer us wrong on recommendations to get the full donut experience and she even threw in a free donut for us to try...glazed mmmmm.
