A great place to shop for bargains and building supplies. A few of my friends and family frequently shop here, and generally have good experiences. However, I have to say that this business has the single most toxic workplace environment that Ive ever been a part of, and that IS relevant to my review as Ive seen how it effects the way business is conducted; therefore the experience and treatment of the customer(s).Im reluctant to leave this review, but I wouldnt feel right if I did not. I will say that in my experience this was not the fault of the owner or the lead sales manager, and Id recommend that you deal directly with either of those two people if you can.

Dixie Savage has a lot to offer for a lot of people comes from all over bye their product Im deciding what would be the for a bathroom I need for my dad he is this hes disabled War veteran Im looking forward to maybe purchasing a walk-in shower for him and handicap accessories so someone out there or a church needs a mission to do I have one I need help on trying to get this installed I need contractors to give me a quote onliest and Im in need in a wall mount heater for this winter Dixie Salvage has more to offer than most people realize go visit them check them out on their webpage it will be a great news prayers for everyone

We bought a door and when we got it home we found out it had dents at the bottom of it. We called them back and they refused to let us return it because the brick moulding had been put on. They said that was considered to be installed. Come on, get real. That is the stupidest thing Ive ever heard. Last time Ill go in there. Thats a crooked way to do business. Now I have to go to Lowes where I should have went the first time. At least they stand behind their products.

Great experience at Dixie Salvage. Staff is top notch. Especially the kitchen planner. Sooooo much better than a big box store. Because they care! Will be doing business again with them

Went for the first time on Friday, April 6th. We were blown away by all the wonderful home and patio merchandise and great buys, but especially the amazing customer service. I love this place, and scored a wonderful new painting and designer pillow covers (only $5 each -- some had original mfg. price tags over $100!). Dixie Salvage is an hour from home, but it will be my new weekend must visit destination. Plus they have a huge warehouse of building and home improvement materials.

Good luck trying to buy materials. Apparently if you ask how much something is they block you. Terrible customer service.

Interesting items outside and inside. But the prices on most things were shocking. Also, you need a PUBLIC RESTROOM for your customers that travel a long way to get to your place.

This place has interest but is quickly washed away by the pricing and no public restroom. Salvage building components at new products prices. I would look else where unless they have that one unique piece that you just have to have.

Selection, yes, but No public restrooms never gets more than 3 stars on a good day.

Ive really enjoyed walking around here just looking and getting things for projects around the house.. they have a little bit of everything from bath tubs.. flooring.. doors etc... just be careful and look at what you buy. Its salvaged goods so sometimes it may have a dent or whatever... its smart shopping to look here and see what they have... Very helpful and knowledgeable staff..

Amazing deals!! The lady and fella who assisted us with flooring and mosaic tiles were extremely helpful. A group loaded our truck and they were so friendly and helpful. I was blown away with the prices but the service and personability of the staff cant be beat.

I moved to Birmingham and Dixie is one of the things I miss most. If they dont have it then you dont need it. I made several round trips back from Birmingham just for supplies for my new house at Dixie. Their prices and selection are THAT great. I miss Vicki and Josh!!

Great prices, however the men at customer pick up are very rude! Specifically one man, i told him how i wanted my carpet and vinyl loaded and he kept making faces with an uncalled for attitude about how i wanted it loaded and then he just walked off and didnt come back!!! So customer service SUCKS! I have spent over $1,000 of my money there the past 2 days and i dont appreciate his know it all attitude

Not impressed at all. There were some neat outside pieces however on most items prices even on damaged items were just as high as new. Save yourself a trip.

U can find almost anything there order countertop at big savings. The sell unfinished cabinets for kitchen, bath vanities vessel sinks, assorted faucets, flooring, tile, tub shower units, windows.
