My experience there with Rick Dobbs and the gang was a pleasant one. I was driving my mothers BMW SUV and she wanted me to get the oil changed and that is the first time I had ever been to this particular shop. They had it in and out very quickly and it required a specialty filter and some other uncommon requests. Rick was as friendly as ever and so was his staff. They seem to really have a good thing going there. I highly recommend this to anyone needing an oil change or any basic maintenance to his/her vehicle.

This is my 1st review. I seldom do reviews on businesses. This one deserves much recognition so here goes..... I have been using Ricks Business over 10 years. Very friendly, courteous, professional and honest. Today (Saturday morning) I came in 805am to get my tires rotated and oil changed. I didnt have a scheduled appointment. Even still was greeted pleasurably and courteously. Car was completed by 930am. I highly recommend Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers! Thank you so much!

I absolutely love this place. Im from Jersey, I was never able to stay in the car while getting a oil change. They checked my whole car and I never had to get out the car. They changed my wipers, and my oil filter. It was quick and inexpensive. I cant wait to go back. 😀

I had a squeeze noise in the front end of my car. They checked it out and said that it was the Ball joints and also told me that I will need to replace a belt on my car. Also they checked all of my fluid levels and put air in my tires washedmy windshield. When it come time to pay they said I didnt owe anything. I will be going back to them for service. They were also very courteous.

This is the only place I trust to change my oil in town. They are friendly and fast. They do so much more than just change oil. They check blinkers, brake lights, and other fluids in your vehicle. The beauty of it is you dont even have to get out of your car while theyre working. Once they get your car in the bay you are in there 10 minutes tops and they have your paperwork drawn up and you pay and youre on your way! What more could you ask for in an oil change place?

The service is impeccable and you CANNOT beat the prices. I live in Scottsboro, but drive all the way to Fort Payne just to have them service my vehicle. Eric helped me today and wasted no time. He immediately pulled my car in and got it done! Awesome!

They said I zip tied it up. And they guy under the car had no reason to lie. But I have changed the oil in this car many times and I even took off the front of the car to change the condenser. And the piece that is hanging down goes above what it is zip tied to. At least they fixed it like it suppose to be😕. Guess this is what I get for being lazy😒

I guess they do an ok job, but its hard to know. Every time I ask them to perform any task other than a simple oil change, they tell me theyre too short staffed. I ask when I can bring it back and they get snappy. Its always something to the effect of how should we know. Thats just weird. Also, the last 2 oil changes, I choose to wait in warm car, instead of cold waiting room. They claim to have checked certain items under the 12-point check that they clearly did not actually check. (ie tire pressure, horn & wiper blades) None of the known things they neglected to check were a very big deal, but it makes you wonder what else they failed to check under the hood. Last time, my truck needed power steering fluid. I didnt mention it because I trusted they check my fluids like theyre supposed to. Picked my truck up after hours because they said they were so busy, Id need to leave it with them. No power steering fluid had been added. Had to add it myself. Just moved here from an area where the Express Oil change actually is always extremely busy, and they never once turned me away or failed to complete the entire said 12-point check. ? I really just dont get it. My wiper blades needed to be changed, this time, but since they didnt ask, I, too, forgot. That means an extra trip & hassle for me, but also easy lost revenue for them. Im just perplexed. When the owner/manager is there, its a different story. Hes nice and everyone else is nicer too.
